Jordana Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIHM Chapter 19 - 22
Nicodiemus continued to tell Mrs. Frisby his story. Nicodiemus was planing an escape with Justin and Jenner. They almost found their way out a few times but it was to risky, and they needed the rest of the RATS. On the day of their escape Jonathan asked the RATS if himself and the other mice could come too. He said yes. On their way out (for good) through the air vent, six out of eight of the mice died when their was an unexpected gust of air. Nicodiemus also started to explain how the RATS, Jonathan, and Mr. Ages (the two mice who survived) got to the farm where they are living.
This book is very good; the author is very clever. He has thought of many good ideas. There is one confusing part. The author uses to similar names and it is hard to remember which RAT is which
P.S. I forgot to tell you that in the last Lemony Snicket book the Baudelaire's mother's name was Beatrice. (That is who I told you about in a previous blog. To be exact October 30th 2008!)
This story is about a group that is sent intothe amazon to look for a plant that might be the cure toa never-before seen disease that is spreading throughout north and south america. So far they have been chased by carnvoruos piranha frogs, man eating locusts, and lost 3 people to 120 foot lopng caimans. They are nearing the desined location, which is then homeland of a mythical jaguar/human people called the Ban-Ali, or Blood Jaguars.
I really like this Author. He keeps you wondering about what will happen next. Most of the time it is action based but there are certain parts of the book that are very rare that sort of drag by. Otherwise its a hard book to stop reading.
There is about 24 pages left in this book. I will definitely be finished next week.
In the part I read, Moushumi and Gogol get married, but decide not to have children yet. Gogol has a job as an architect and Moushumi has a job as a teacher. Gogol is forced by his wife to go to parties hosted by people he doesn't even know. You see, Moushumi went to Paris alone when she was younger and met a guy. They were going to get married but he disagreed at the last minute. The people who hosted these parties introduced Moushumi to that guy. That is why Gogol doesn't like them.
At Moushumi's school, she finds out that the secretary died. In the secretary's mailbox, she finds a letter from an old friend of her's. She finds his phone number and she cheats on Gogol. This is where I left off.
I wonder how Gogol is going to react when he finds out about Moushumi. I predict that Gogol will get a divorce. The part that I read was interesting. The way the author makes Gogol and Moushumi's conversations is clever.
one random summer day Martha Boyle get a message saying that her "friend" Olive was riding her bike and a car crashed into to her. she flew up in the air and landed head first on the pavment. the woman that gave her the message also her gave her a note which contained olives hopes. she wanted her closest friend to fofill them for olive since should could no longer do. it said she wanted to write a novel about a girl nad it takes place on the beach. martha was honored to get them but she dident know why her she wasent real good friends with olive. marthas dad is a author and one day when hes going out to buy stuff he tells martha to take her baby sister lucy out in her stroller. she is on the corner of kickboxer and monroe streets. this is where olive died. she takes a blue piece of chalk from the stroller and writes OLIVE in all capitals. when she got home she got a phone call from her friend holly she asked if she heard about olive. they both felt bad that they wernt friends with her before. when the whole familys home at dinner including mom and older brother vince they all now about olive. this is a rough time for them so they flew from californa to massachutes to vist goodbe (grandma) because they always love it there at the beach
I really read to chapter 58 out of 68 but since i forgot to them for a while im starting from the begaining.
Jaxx Ottinger Ive read this book but I will tell you something about it.
Will was walking down a path and he was going to sea. Because their was an important assignment that he had to do but then a differnt assighment came up so he did this and their was a Rumor that The Monster of the Woods was seen and their was a lot of flashing lights out of no where, green and red. And Lanterners going on and of. Any won who went in the woods never came back. So Will was assigned to find out as much imformation as possibly and to tell Halt and Crowly. So Will went as a Joungler and that was his disgusment which was preety cool.
Will goes in the Woods that night and he sees the night monster. The night monster jumps out of the lake and he is Gigantic and he says Who Dares to come to my woods. He says leave now or die. Will runs full spead out of the woods and into the Hotel where its safe. He said to himself he has to figure out a plan to no who that is.
Jordana Sucker Finished (For the week of February 9th - February 13th)
Pete (a sixteen year old boy) lives with his cousin Richard (a twelve year old boy) whose parents died when he was a baby. Pete has many social problems. One is about a girl named Maybelle. At first he doesn't like her because she was mean to him, but when he is a sophomore he starts to. It all starts when he sits next to her in school. Then eventually he gives her a carton of cigarettes. Maybelle becomes Pete's girlfriend. Pete actually took her to the movies. Pete also has a problem with Richard also known as Sucker. Pete is normally really mean to Sucker. One day Sucker asks Pete if he likes him. Pete says yes! Pete and Sucker are very friendly and talk a lot with each other. One day every thing went wrong. Maybelle started hanging out with a guy who drives a roadster and she was mean to Pete again. The same day Pete was extremely mean to Sucker because he was in a bad mood. Sucker got very, very mad at Pete and was never going to forgive him. Pete wanted to make it up t him but he couldn't.
I think this story takes place in the past. One reason is that when Pete takes Sucker and Maybelle to the movies it costs one dollar for three tickets and a snack. Also, all of the high school students smoke and they are not getting in trouble for doing it. Another reason is that Richard an Pete are not very popular names but they were back then. This story was very clever. If Abigail said what Pete said to me I would not forgive her either.
So far, Mary Lennox, the main character, has learned that her uncaring parents have died of a serious disease (they live in India), and she is going to live with her Uncle, Mr. Craven, in the English countryside. She discovers that he is a hunchback, and isn't at his home, Misselthwaite Mannor, very often. She is soon taken by Ms. Crawford, lady in waiting and assistant, from India to London, and from London, to the countryside. In Misselthwaite Mannor, Mary meets her lady-in-waiting, Martha, who speaks in an understandable accent.
I really love this book. Although, sometimes I cant read what Martha is saying: she says,"th'" and "tha'" and it's hard to comprehend. I hate how Mary is so mean to everyone. Even though her parents never really paid any attention to her, it doesn't mean that she cant pay attention to people to actually care about her. She could at least PRETEND to listen!
So far, this book is about a boy named Alex Rider. This is the 7th book in the series. In the last book,Ark angel, alex goes on a mission to stop a floating hotel from crashing into earth. After he completes the mission, he goes into his landing ship. (This is where snakehead begins) Alex lands in the coast of Australia and is found there by the Australian secret service. They are confused why a kid went into space. They read all alex's files and figure out he's and agent and a good one too. The send alex to Sydney instead of England where he lives. They do this because they need him for a mission. They talk to him and send him to bangkok where he is working with his godfather trying too stop snakehead from blowing something up (i don't know what they will blow up or why they blow it up so don't ask). After he disguises himself as an afgan kid, he gets taken out of his hotel room and into a snake head secret street fighting cage. (i know street fighting is on the streets but i forgot the word they used.).they do this because they expect him to be weak and want to see him get killed. But, he showed them otherwise and escaped. He was about get shot when a stanger shot the person who was shooting alex. Alex follwed the person that help him the a buddhist temple. There the person cought him a shoved him. Then alex soon realized it was someone he knew. It was fox from his MI6 training camp.
This book is very good. Of course it is good because i'm reading it after 6 other books from the series. These books are good because i like action novels and it has lots of points in the story when you are forced to read on.
Neil Menghani Artemis Fowl Eoin Colfer Pages 1-150 2/9/09-2/13/09
Yes-I finaly started a new book, and yes-I actualy "like" it. This book is about a kid named Artemis Fowl who devotes his life to crime. His family is rich and each member has a servant. Artemis has a servant who is trained and he calls him Butler (I don't even know). Artemis is an internet surfer at first, but he finds out that fairies and trolls exist (it is not a baby book; it has good vocabulary). He devises a plan in which he finds information about the People (magical creatures). Then he captures a fairy and tries to earn a fortune from magical patents (that's evil). Meanwhile, the LEP officers (magical police) try to save Holly Short (the fairy Artemis captured). That is all I read.
This book is-I don't know-interesting? It is a full series, so expect to see a lot of Artemis Fowl blogs. I really like Eoin Colfer as an author. I read another book by him called Half-Moon Investigations in fourth grade, which I really liked.
P.S. Artemis is violent. The way he captured the fairy was shooting her in the leg. What a way to kill a fairy!
I read this book a long time ago but i never blogged on it. The supernaturalist is a book about a kid named cosmo hill. He is a "human guinea pig". up till he was twelve, he thought about escapes. Then he had a perfect chance. A testwent wrong andan alarm broke out. He and his friend ziplock escaped. but the mean manager, Redwood saw. he started chasing them. While they were being chased,the got to a dead end on top of a building. their only chance was to jump on a generator. Ziplock. died and cosmo stayed alive. But, he saw these weird life force that sucked the life oout of themm. Then the supernaturalist cam. (people who kill those life forces)htye told him only few people could see them. They find out at the end that they actually just take out the pain a have to stop another person from killing them.
No offense to eoin colfer, but this is a bad book. it has very untrue facts. it is also extremely boring. the book is a waste of time. if you are thinking about reading it, take my advice and stop... ...please.
Jaxx Ottinger Ranger Apprentice I am going to tell you some things about the story.
Will was in his room thinking about what happened last night and about the night monster. Suddenly Alyssa came into the room. Will was so suprised and happy to see her. He hugged her tiged and told what had happened to him last night and he also said it wasn't peaceful. She said it was probaly somebody doin it and hes probaly just doing it for a prank or to scare the people in the castle and the city and also a little further.
So the next day they went in the Grisdelle Woods and they weren't that scared because it was during the day and Will said he was never going back in the dark ever again. They found a lot of tricks and it looked like someone set this up so people could get scared and run away. Will and Allysa wanted to find out who was behind his really bad and they weren't going to stop looking till they found him or her. But they were going to look tomorrow.
Heat takes place in the Bronx,NY and is a about a 12 year old boy named michel. he lives with this woman named Ms. Cara (Ms.C)who takes care of kids and michel has only one living relitive and that is his brother who is a junior in highschool. in the begining of the story ms. c someone steals her purse. she started to run after the thief and a cop joins the chase. after a couple blocks the thief is knocked out. and get this michel "accidentlly" hit the guy in the head with a baseball. the next day michel piches four straight innnings and is getting ready for the little leagues.
this book to me is like exciting at one point and then boring then exciting. its kind of like a slow heart rate beating slowly.
When martha gets off the plane and closer to here grandmas house she gets the glittery feeling. a feeling she gets when she gets closer to the beach. her family called there grandma godbee because when martha was little she her mom dad and older brother vince called her grandma b martha couldent pronounce that when she was a toddler. as usual her mom and lucy went up to bed her dad went out somewhere her and godbee played parcheesi. vince used to play with them but now he hangs out with godbees neighber the manning kids jmmy, tate, tood, luke and leo. when her father got back he decided to quite his dream to be a writer and go back to his old job for more money. before they went up to bed after parcheesi godbee thought something was wrong so she made a promise that each day there toghather they have to tell each other a secret starting tomarrow. when she woke up the next morning she was greeted by lucy who every morning she go's to martha and kisses her alot untill they get a good kiss. martha told godbee that she wanted to be a writer. thats one of her depessed darkest secerts
i like it so far it sounds like alot of things could happen and many adventures could unfold

Jordana All of a Kind Family Chapters 1-7 (The chapters are not related to one another) (For the week of February 9th - February 13th)
This book takes place in 1912 in Manhattan. There are five Jewish sisters, Gertie (4 years old), Charlotte (6 years old), Sarah (8 years old), Henny (10 years old), and Ella (12 years old.) In the beginning of the book Sarah looses her library book. When she goes to the library she is very apologetic and she has to pay for the book. The library lady makes a deal with her, because Sarah told her she was saving her money to buy a doll. She said, " I will let you pay one penny a week so you can pay for the book and your doll." The other four sisters said that they would help pay for the book. In the second chapter the author talks about how important chores are (in particular dusting.) None of the sisters like dusting, so Mama made up a game. She said that she would hide twelve buttons in the main room. If you do a good job dusting, you should find all of the buttons. After all of the girls got their turn Mama said she didn't have enough time to hind all of the buttons every day, so she wasn't going to tell them how many buttons or if there were any buttons. In chapter 3 the girls go to their father's shop. They see all of his friends. Papa tells them that there is a surprise for them. There were books. the girls said they never thought they would have a book, now they had many. In the next chapter Gertie and Charlotte when to the store and spent their pennies. They bought chocolate babies and crackers. During the night the sisters ate the candy and crackers. Mama found crumbs in the bed and scolded them. Gertie and Charlotte never ate crackers in bed again, but they still ate candy. In the 5th chapter it was almost Shabbat. The whole family (not Papa) went to the market. They each bought different foods with their pennies while Mama was shopping for Shabbat dinner. Papa came home and they ate. In the last chapter I read it was Papa's birthday. Ella thought that they should buy him a present, so they did. A lot of things were to expensive but they found a beautiful tea cup with father written on it. When they gave it to Pap he thought that it was a waste of money. Of course he didn't say that but he really did love it since it came from his daughters.
I like thins book, because I'm a Jewish girl and I can relate to the five sisters. I think I am most like Ella because she is the oldest, the most mature, and she is a good role model for her younger sisters. The author is very clever. This is a good book.
she tells godbee about the story she wants to write about a girl named olive and her adventures living on the beach. martha sawl vince and the mannings all togater walking down the beach. she never really talked to any of the mannings but she was eager to meet them. ecspcaily tate. she heard one of the mannings calling to her. or so she thougt. she said by to godbee and walked over to them. but it was jimmys voice she heard. she went and asked what they were doing. jimmy was making a "major motion" film called the world is not what you think it is. jimmy invited martha back to his house to watch what they made of the movie so far just the two of them. after that jimmy and martha grow a strong relation ship. because of godbees dael to tell each other secrets which martha forgot about for the moment. in the hall when they passed each other godbee said that she couldent taste or smell any more.
alot dident happen so far in the story but soon it will get intense.
This is my tenth and last (i think) blog this trimester. I really liked this short story that you assigned surprisingly.
In this story, a boy named Pete mistreats his live-in cousin. He ignores him all the time just like a girl he likes named Maybelle. When she finally starts to notice Pete, he starts being friendly toward Sucker. They always talk to each other about their personal lives and Sucker even comes with Pete to his date with Maybelle. However, it all goes wrong in the end. Maybelle starts going out with another guy, and Pete is angry. When he is angry, he takes out his anger on Sucker and says very mean things. This is an unforgivable thing, so Sucker never forgives Pete for doing this. The room that they used to share now became Sucker's room. Pete tries to make it up to Sucker, but it's impossible. Pete becomes lonely.
Again, I surprisingly liked this story. It was creatively written and hard and to put down!
P.S. I believe this is one of the only short stories that you assigned that was this interesting.
Digital Fortress is a book about an unbreakable computer program for emailing. The government is unable to break this code and is afraid that terrorists can get their hands on it and plan an attack withou the government knowing about it. They send Susan flethchers husband to retrieve a ring from the creator of the program becuase the ring has the answer on it. Her husband goes all arond Span looking for it but eventually gets it from this girl. Then this guy shows up and tries to kill him. He got saved by these governemnt agents and they discovered that the progrm was going to eat away he security filters for the Us's databank. They discovered that the password was three, which was hiow many fingers the man that created had becuase of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bobings, and that was the differnce of the atomis weight of the amount of uranium used in the bombs.
well right now micheal is in a tough sichuation. other team coaches don't think he is twelve and signed a potition to show the baseball board his birth certificate. micheal doesn't have one because his dad forgot to take it to America when they left cuba and he doesnt have any proof on how old he is because his dad is dead and no one knows it. also this newsreporter want micheal and his family to go in the newpaper for stopping the thief by hitting his head with a baseball.
so far this book has had its ups and down but i think micheal is going to get through it all. but if he doesnt well that will suck.
martha started having second thoughts about jimmy at dinner one night were they ate lobsters. martha would never eat any thing that came from the sea not even fifh sticks. but she got over it soon enough. jimmy needed martha to help him with his movie in the love section. he took her to some old beat up, worn down, huge peice of junk house called the betons place. it used to be a hourse ranch untill it went out of busniess. they had to go thorugh a whole lot to get there but they made it. jimmy held marthas hand and other mushie gushie love stuff and held her hand all the way home from the bentons place. martha went home and started her book. she based it on what was happening to her only slightly differrent. like her name was olive and jimmy was james and she replaced every ones elses name too.
thoughs chapters were kind of short but there is deffiatley going to be some major conflict between jimmy and martha soon.
Mohammad Kazmi "Stargirl" By Jery Spinelli I just started it on sunday
This novel is about a boy named Leo, it's his first day of Mica High School, in Arizona, He has a good friend named Kevin. Everyone is talking about Stargirl Caraway. She has been home schooled until the tenth grade. She is an outcast, who eats aloe at lunch. SHe comes to school in outfits and carrys a notebook with smiley faces on it. Hillari thinks that the school hired her to encourage more school spiri and and Kevin Agrees.
I'm starting to like this story and hope to finish it by friday
I finished snakehead. as i said last time, he meets fox. Fox gives him gadgets. When alex goes back to Ash, he goes to a country where he will go on a cargo ship in a box to australia. The ship is Snakehead's and transports foriegn people illiegally to australi. he esacapes the box so he could also finish the mission MI6 gave him. He located the bomb and put his fingerprint in it. Later he finds the control room of the bomb and deactivates it.
Snake head was a reallly good book. The author makes alex have impossible situations that the only way to win is to die and he doesn't win. and he still esacapes.
When Alyssa and Will team up they make a strong group. They fight really good and their really strong and smart. They can handle anything buy their selves. They also know a lot about their jobs.
So Will and Alysa were trying to find out what could of caused the big monster and the lights. They already knew that it had to been a person. So that day they went in the woods to look for any evidence. Alysa is very smart and she found vines so the person must of swung from the vines with the lights. Then they found this kind of fake flowernd this big light thing and like a ghost costume. It looked scary so that had of been the big scary monster. He was gigantic. Over 10 foot. So they found all of this evidence and other clues that they thought it was a guy that was a docter and a scientist a long time ago that would save people with his magic when they were really ill. And he was one of the most famous people their in the castle and the village execept the king of coarse. But then one day this kid was about to die and he gave the kid the potion and the kid still died and everyone thought he killed the person on purpose which was a lie so he left the place and whent to live in Grisdelle woods. So that was who probaly did it because he dosen't want to be bothered because no one likes him and he dosen't like them. And he is also one of the smartest in the orld so he set up all the tracks.
The author John Flanogan is a great author who has a lot of books and the seris call Ranger Apprentice. He has a lot of skills in writing and he is ood at making up acton books. So everyone should start reding his books.
So the next day Will and Alyssa went in the woods and down the path with the king because he was sick because of his cousen Keren a strong guy that poisened his in his food and water. Everyone wanted Keren to be the king because they think he is better than the other one which isn't true. They didn't believe the king which wasn't that good and people are going to regret it. So mabye they could change their minds.
I had finished this book and thought that it wasa really good. There are these two twin Djinn named Phillapa and John who both head with their uncle and his servant to the amazon. Phillapa made a promise to a girl that she would bring her. They all went and after facing several giant creatures reached the eye of the forest. They met a friend and an enemy there. They discovered that the girl they brought with them was a traitor. He threatened to kill their father if they followed them then went through the erye of the forest. They discovered that completing the ritual would create a nuclear reaction. They found out their father was safe and went after them. THey found the man but their friend was missing. Phillapa discovered that she had magical shoes and put them all in an anti-nuclear bunker. She teleports herslef o where the friend was but found that he had done the ritual but it was not complete so there was no explosion. Their friend was blastd into a ood and evil part. The evil part killed the good part, but Phillapa escaped before he could get her.
Jordana Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH Chapter 22 - End For the Week of February 16 - February 20
The RATS start Mrs. Frisby's plan. So Mrs. Frisby and Justin go to the farmer's house to put the sleeping potion in Dragon's food bowl. Justin tells her what to do and she does it successfully. But the farmer's youngest son, Billy, captures Mrs. Frisby in a colander, and then he puts her in the empty canary cage. Justin over hears what happens and with out Mrs. Frisby knowing leaves, tells her children every thing is fine, and tells the RATS to move her house. While Justin is doing that, Mrs. Frisby over heard the the farmer talking about seven RATS (Jenner's Group) that died because they were trying to take an electric motor from a hardware store. He also said people from NIMh were coming to dig up the rosebush. When everyone went to sleep Justin freed Mrs. Frisby, she notified him. In the end the house was moved safely except the Shrew would not let the RATS move Mrs. Frisby's house. All, except for ten, of the RATS left to raise crops and live a non-stealing life. The ten RATS (including Brutus and Justin) stayed in the RAT hole. When the people from NIMH came and sprayed the poison in the hole, seven RATS came out of the hole. Then one RAT, Brutus walked out and fell over. Later I found out that one RAT who died was most likely Justin. At the very end of the book Timothy is all better.
This book was very good. The ending was very flat. I saw the movie. It wasn't very good because it was so different from the book. I would never have expected for Jenner's group to die and have the people from NIMH come.
Well since I haven't gotten a book in my hand in a great while, I'm going to start reading (or reread) Eclipse over the weekend, and post about it either Sunday night, or Monday after school.
Well so far im only like on page 15 but its a pretty good book. It s about this girl who has an ability called a grace. There are a bunch of different graces but hers was killing. She was on a mission when she met this guy that she could barely hurt, becuase his grace was fighting. He knew that she was a princess that was supposed to be heading to a different kingdom but he promised not to tell becuase he trusted her. She ended up kicking him on the forehead and putting him unconcious. Then she leaft.
Thats all ive read so far in the book ill update tommorrow for another blog.

Since the blogs aren't due by the Friday of any given week, I’ll just write today’s date, 2/19/09.
In the part I read, Artemis Fowl captured Holly Short and the LEP officers had to save her. They got a criminal to help save her because he was good at breaking into houses and he was a dwarf so he could chew through clay to break in. Artemis Fowl is very clever and the LEP does everything (even sends a troll that nearly kills Artemis Fowl's servant), but Artemis stops them. The LEP commander ends up going and negotiating with Artemis Fowl. However, the LEP has the conversation all on tape and finds Artemis's flaw. He said "You are not welcome while I am alive." Now, the LEP is trying to kill Artemis Fowl to save Holly.
This book is interesting. The fairies surprisingly have a very advanced technology (bio-bombs which kill only people and don’t affect land and solar cameras). I like the way Eoin Colfer creates suspense; I couldn’t put the book down.
Well Micheal had the interview and didn't have to worry about anything because it was alright that his dad wasn't there and the reporter made a big deal about it and strech the truth. oh ya this girl micheal liked tured out to be El Grande daughter El Grande is an allstar player for the Yankees and now he thinks if the girl (ellie) liked him she would have told him that. also micheal still cant play in little leagues.
this book is now get interesting with all these new surprises and secret.
Well right now micheal has a big problem. you see mr. gibb he part of this child servce thing for children who are abandoned. so he thinks that micheals dad left him, but he is really dead. micheal makes up a story that his "uncle" is down in Flordia and his dad is visiting him for awhile, but mr. gibbs doesn't believe him. now micheal is getting his friends manny's uncle to act like his dad who is checking up on them.
well thing are getting bad for micheal now like not playing baseball, and now child servce is after him.
Artemis is a 12 year old boy. But, he is no regular boy. He's a criminal mastermind. During this book artemis Tries to capture fairies to restore hid family's fortune. In the begining, after defeating a troll, holly (a fariy)'power get weaker. Holly then has to renew her powers. Artemis captuers her and brings her back to his house. Artemis is always one step ahead of everybody else so he know holly's boss is going to come and get her back. This is exactly what he wants. Holly's boss actually comes after they sent a bunch of troops there and they all get knocked unconsious. They put a time stoppping device around the house so nobody can send messages to people out of the house. Artemis talks with Root (holly's boss)and they try to make a deal. Meanwhile a dwarf digs his way into Artemis's house while he eats the dirt. This is no ordinary dwarf. He is a criminal dwarf that has to help Holly or he will get sent to jail. He picks the lock and realizes that Artemis has the book. (A book that tells you everything about the faries.)
I like this book. Not so much though because the author writes in a way that's hard to read. I thinks it's the font he uses. But, anyway, this is a very good book. Don't worry i will post another blog on this. Oh Yeah
Will and Alyssa found the scientist named Mahammed in the the woods so they could get the king cured in time before he dies. But then all of these cretures came out of no where and were going to them. It must of been really scary. They didn't know who they were and they were still coming foward at Will. Will threatened them and was about to kill one but then a voice came out of no where. The voice had said stop. It was Mahammed. He said what are you doing here and they said they have to save the king and they asked him to do. But first the king told them who the creatures were. He said he went to differnt countries looking for these weird people that are shaped wrongly like a square and a triangle. He said he didn't kill the little boy on purpose but nobody believed him so he moved to the Grisdelle woods. Where he could be save from the villagers. He also saaid he set up the prancks to scare people in the woods. And everybody believed him which was pretty funny if you thought about it before.So the scientist gave him his medicin and it worked and the king was all back to normal. And they had to find a plan to get the cousin Keren of the king killed.
Mary Lennox hears a strange crying in the night, but is not allowed to leave her room unattended during "sleep-hours". She hears it again the next night, and the next, until finally, she goes to look for the person crying. She finds a boy, who's name is Collin, sitting in bed. She calms him down by talking to him, and singing him to sleep. The next morning, she is ordered to see him by Martha, the maid. He sends his own maid out of the room, so that no one would know Mary would be with him. She tells him of the SECRET GARDEN she hopes to find. The next day, she goes outside, and, while folowing a robin, sees a key in the dirt. She picks it up, and finds that it's the key to the garden; all at once, she wind blows the ivy on the brick wall next to her, over, and she sees the door to the garden. She opens the door with the key, and thinks about how the garden managed to last about 10 years without any care for it.
I love this book, AND the movie. I like how Mary is becoming prettier, and how they say the moor's wind and her jump roping is helping make her a little stronger. I want to see what happens to the garden...

Alexandra The Secret Garden Chapters 17 and 20 (not much happened in the chapters between 17 and 20 that i can describe without describing the whole book!)
Mary is going to tell Colin about the garden, until she hears that he is throwing a tantrum. She runs to his room, and yells at him. She tells him that he should shut his mouth, or she wouldn't tell him about the garden, or a boy she was fond of. He quiets down after this, and she tells him of the boy, Dickon, and how he is an animal charmer: he can talk to animals, and they understand him. In chapter 20, Mary brings Colin outside, for his first time in years, and Dickon and Mary bring him to the SECRET GARDEN, and Colin feels that he will live forever, and ever, and ever even if he may have a hunchback.(that's what the name of the chapter is: "I Shall Live Forever, and Ever, and Ever"; go figure!)
I like how the garden is STILL growing after 10 years of no care. I love this book! Im going to keep reading!
Mary thinks that Colin should go into the SECRET GARDEN everyday: Colin tells all the workers to go away, to make sure no one knows that they have been into the garden. But then, a worker named Ben Weatherstaff, sees them inside the garden while standing on a ladder and looking over the sorrounding wall. The children make him keep the secret, and he tells them that he hd been working in the garden for the past 10 years by climbing over the wall and jumping into it.
WOW! i didn't see that coming... ben seemed like he was going to be only a small character, and not a main one! Im going to keep reading! :)
One rainy day, Mary goes into Colin's room and finds that the curtain that usually hangs over his dead mother's laughing portait, is drawn. Colin tells her that he had drawn the curtain last night because he felt strong, and felt that she wasn't lauging because he was going to have a hunchback, but because she ws happy to see him walking and running, and fixing her beloved garden. That day, the children run around the manor, without being seen, while looking through all of the untouched rooms. They have a lot of fun!

Alexandra The Secret Garden Chapter 27 - the last chapter!!! :)
Mr. Craven, Colin's father is away, when he realizes that he misses the garden. He comes home in search of the key. During this time, Colin has been getting stronger, and he can now run, and jump, and beat Dickon at races. He is helping to fix the garden. When Mr.Craven comes home, he finds that the door is unlocked; he opens the door, and Colin runs into him - he was racing with Mary. He tells his father that he is strong, and that he will not have a hunchback, and that he will live forever, and ever, and ever. His father is very happy, and regrets neglacting him. He tells Colin that the only reason he neglacted him was because he reminded Mr.Craven so much of Colin's mother, and so did the garden. He locked the garden and kept away from Colin because he did not want to be reminded of her.
This book was great. I wish that the author made a second SECRET GARDEN. That would be soooooo coool! :)
This book is about a genius boy named artemis fowl. Artemis thinks everything ahead of time and is never wrong. He never loses. In the story he captures a LEP officer named holly short. holly is the only girl officer. Artemis says he will only give her back if the give him 2 tons of 26 carrot gold. the lep think they have a plan that they give him the gold, then bio-bomb the house, then take the gold back. Artemis found away to survive the bio-bomb so he sleeps (thats the trick) because he in a frozen time place and then he won't be killed. He wakes up the next day but the gold is gone. this is book one so he probably will attempt to restor his fortune again.
I read this book fast. I liked it a lot. I especially like how creative artemis was and he was doing things i wouldn't even think of
This is my first non-fiction book! even though it was only 30 pages. The whole idea beyond this book was that in every atom, there are the same amount of protons and neutrons. But, they can jump from one to another. Causing the charge to be north or south. opposite ends attract. It tells you that every material can be charged but the pull depends on the material. Also, only some materials let energy currents through causing it to move the currents. It shows you how switches, light bulbs, and heaters work.
This book was interesting because i've always wanted to know how it worked. I went to the library and got that because i thought it would be interesting. Electricity currents are very interesting. I thought this book was made in china because the pictures of the batteries were chinese batteries. When i read the authors note, turns out she lives in italy.

one day for the love section of jimmys movie he kissed martha full on the lips. after the kiss jimmy said "yes i so won the bet". martha was confused so jimmy told her about the bet he maid with tate that he couldent get footage of him kissing martha. martha was sad and deffenatly dosent have a crush on jimmy any more. she ran away crying. at the end of the day after writing more of her story tate came over and talked to martha to cheer her up he said that before she goes back home in wishconsin he will come and give her somthing. tate was really late that morning martha stalled as long as she could but they had to go. but tate caught up with the backing up car and gave martha a brown paper bag. inside the bag was the tape of martha and jimmy kissing. on it was a note saying " i was the one who really liked you all along jimmy was just using you
tate"
i think the ending was intresting. you figure out that martha was right about tate liking her the whole time and that jimmy is very dumb to tell martha about the bet
Ive read like another 140 pages of Graceling and so far Katsa was sent on another mission. She then returned and found the Leined guy she met on her other mission. They become friends and practice fighting each other. Yet agian KAtsa gets sent on a mission this time to get a wife for the king from this guy that promised to give him one. He didnt but Katsa didnt kill him becuase she thought that his daughters didnt deserve that horrible fate. On their way back Giddon proposes and gets really pissed when Katsa says no. She realized the Leined waho's name was Po could actually read peoples mind at least when they were thinking about him. Katsa gets mad at him. Po tells everyone he's leaving and Katsa is called to the King. She threatens everyone (The two-hundred gaurds) to let her leave or else. THey let her go and she left with Po.
I ended here. I really liked this book becuase the other pops alot of surprises out and I really lke that.
Well this blog isn't so much about micheal. its about his brother carlos. now i haven't said much about him because he always talkin about hpw his job is and things like that. but this whole i found out he lied he been selling ticket to Yankee games. also his normal first job boss is getting curious. his boss for selling tickets is the guy who micheal threw the ball at his head and his name is ramond.
i thought it would be worst like if his brother got in a gang or gambled on chicken fights. everything is bad with micheal and carlos
Jordana All-of-a-Kind Family Chapter 7-End (For the week of February 23th-February 27th)
In this chapter it was Purim. The five girls went to the synagogue with Papa. Then they delivered Purim baskets and paraded around the New York streets. Sarah was mad because she could not give the library lady her basket when she was in her costume, and on Purim. Then some relatives visited their house. Gertie, Charlotte, Sarah, and Henny played music while Ella sang. Everyone said she sang like an angel. In the next chapter Sarah got in trouble because she didn't want to eat her soup. The girls made a chant: No Soup No Meat No Vegetables No Fruit No Meat No Vegetables No Fruit No Penny. Sarah didn't eat her soup. So when the others got meat Sarah did not get any. For snack after school she got soup. Then for dinner she got soup. It was lumpy and unappetizing; Sarah cried and finally ate it. She got the rest of her food and was no longer in trouble. In the next chapter Sarah was sick. Henny was mad because she never got sick. The doctor came. SARAH HAD SCARLET FEVER! When the other girls came home from school they were all checked. ELLA HAD SCARLET FEVER TOO! The three well girls were not allowed to see Ella and Sarah A few days later when Mama was cleaning the house for Passover Gertie and Charlotte felt sick. The doctor checked them too. GERTIE AND CHARLOTTE HAD SCARLET FEVER! Mama had to finish preparing for the holiday and she had four sick daughters. Henny was lonely, and she when into the "sick room" whenever Mama wasn't looking. The doctor said she could not get scarlet fever. On Passover there were no relatives and the sick girls were not at the table. Every Charlie brought them presents because they were sick. They all got better. Then the fourth of July came. There was a big celebration on the New York streets; there were a lot of fire crackers and other appealing things. While every one was asleep Ella over heard mama and Papa talking about Charlie. Charlie's parents wouldn't let him marry his lover so he ran away and was still looking for her. Ella tarted crying because the story was so sad (and she loved Charlie. Mama and Papa comforted her. In the next chapter because of the heat the ladies took a family outing. They went to Coney Island and played in the water. Then they went to Playland. While they were there Henny got lost. Everyone was frantic. Mama looked for her; then Ella looked for her. A man told her she would be at the police station. She was there. Henny was eating ice cream and candy. The officer bought it for her. They went home. The next chapter was about Sukkot. Papa built it and Ella designed it. Sarah invited the library lady. And when she brought her to the backyard she saw Charlie. The library lady, Ms. Allen, was Charlie's lover. In the last chapter Mama was pregnant and going to give birth. All five girls couldn't go to sleep. Gertie didn't want to be an older sister. Papa wanted the baby to be a bay. The baby was born early in the morning. Four girls were asleep, Ella was awake. She heard Papa crying; he was so happy. The baby was named Chiam and his nick-name was Charlie.
This book was very good. I think I'm a lot like Ella (except for the singing part!!) because she is a good role model for younger children and she is kind and gentile. I liked how the family was Jewish. I wish I knew what happened next with the baby. This book was very good
(you probably don't know this book because it isn't popular. My mom just randomly selected this book from the Library. Its a very good book though). Okay. Here's how it goes... This boy named Rennie Muldoon is a very gifted child. But he is very lonely. He parents died when he was very little. He lived in an orphanage but the kids there didn't like what he liked so he wasn't popular. The ONLY person that liked him was his teacher. She thought he was the most gifted person she every met and she was definitely right. He was super smart. When Rennie sees an ad in the newspaper about a contest Rennie's teacher insist he join because she knows he'll win. When he takes the test he wins. The first page was normal but the 2nd asks you personal questions like "Do you listen to the radio or watch TV". When Rennie wins, he has another test. This has impossible questions and even sends kids out crying. But then, Rennie figures out all the answers are in the test itself in different questions.At the end there are 3 people left. Him,Sticky (They call him that because everything he reads sticks to his head. His real name is George Washington(I know)), and Kate. Sticky didn't figure out the trick though. He actually knew the answers to the questions.After that, they meet Mr. Benedict. They figure out that the only reason they were asked if they liked TV was because people are sending messages through TV to depress people.
This book isn't known that well but it is very good. it's a 500 page book also and it's 19 Ar points so it will help me get a head start on the next trimester.This is a good book if you like people that are above the average so you could see how it's like to be a genius.
Well im alot farther in Graceling almost done so ill tell you what happened. Po and Katsa fell in love and htne discovered who kidnapped PO's Grandfather. theyw ent to kill him but Po got injured. They found Po's couysin, bitterblue. They eventually had to leave Po behind becuase he was slowing they down and the evil king might cathc up to them. They found him an underwater cave to hide in and a cabin so he could survive. They headed On and once they got through the forest they headed up to the mnountians because thats the last place the king would look for them. Freom were I am now they ahve been traveling in the mountains for a couple of days.
I like this author and think it's cool how some people are graced with special abilites. I really want to low what going to happen and I will post again Tomorrow.

Caleb Test(again) 1-125 Test takes place in the future where all the roads are bloked and jammed up by cars driven by middle class people. The High class are oil buisness owners and CEOs of important buisnesses. They have helicopters to take them every where on skyways. Lower class people walk everywhere and it gets them around faster. A girl(who is the main character) is being followed by her dads CEO. The CEO threatens her because her dad is telling people at the Grand diamond not to pay there rent. (that is the dads bosses buisness). The dad hides at home so the boss goes after her.
So far this an Okay book. It doesn't have the best story line, which I look for in everything books, movies, videogames. The author (william sleator) is a very good author and writes this story very well.
Jordana A Thief in the Theater: A Kit Mystery Chapter 1 - 10 (For the week of February 23-February 27)
In this book Kit Kittredge, a reporter goes to a play with her friend Sterling. Kit is going to write about the play for her Childrens' Page Article for the Cincinnati Register. Then at the end of the play there is an announcement made: the play will no longer be preformed. The new play is called Macbeth. When the stage manager Rose made the announcement she said saying Macbeth in the theater was bad luck, and it should not be said in the theater. Then there was a crash behind the curtains and Graham asked if there was a doctor was in the audience. Cynthia (one of the actresses) sprained her ankle. Later Kit was asking Rose some questions about Macbeth; she wanted to know if she could come during rehearsals and interview the star Dauphine Dumont. The answer was yes, but before they finished the conversation Mr. Bell (an actor and a border at the Kittredge house) said that $107 has been robbed. He said it was a thin man wearing hat and a big jacket. Rose's dog always barks at strangers; the dog didn't bark. It must have been a cast member! The next morning Stirling was selling newspapers for his newspaper. The Hobart came and were picking on him. Bad things kept happening at the theater. Kit and Stirling could had to work on the set, cast was forgetting their lines, Graham and another actor were practicing a sword fighting seen and Graham got a cut, and the Hobart brothers beet Stirling up. Mr. Bell gave Kit money to buy soap and ice for Stirling, his wallet was full. Kit was sure the dollar he gave her was her's because it was tinted pink and the corner was torn ( she bough her ticket with a tinted pink dollar with a torn corner.) She got the ice and soap. Later in the story I found out that Dauphine stole the money. Mr. Bell got the pink dollar because Dauphine payed him to buy her lunch. She almost got away but Rose, Graham, Stirling, and kit found her. She must have pretended to be a boy to make herself seem innocent. The Hobart boys stopped picking on Stirling because Kit said she had a picture of them hurting Stirling. Macbeth went well and Rose got the money back from Dauphine.
This was a very good book. i liked the story and the author was very clever. Kit has always been my favorite American Girl ( and she still is! ) I didn't expect Dauphine to be the crook ( in fact what I thought was ironic to what happened.)
Rynie and his friends get sent to a special genius acadamy on a mission to spy on them. All the tv signals are coming from their school.when they hear the welcome speech by the owner,mr curtain,he looks exactly like mr.benedict.they think he was tricking them but when they contact mr benedict, he said mr curtain was his long lost twin brother. Sticky and dennis do really good and thief bound to become messengers. They so far have perfect scores. Messengers arethe smartests students. They get special privleges and rennie thinks they are the people that sends those messages on tv. Later, the messages start broadcasting right into their minds. This means they are increasing the power. Right now they just feel irratated and annoyed but soon they will actually hear the words in their mind and that's when it gets bad
I like this book a lot. One reason it's good is be aide it's no too unreal. It has a good plot and has a funny sense to it. I'm writing this blog on my I'll. That's why it has so many spelling errors.
I finishged the book and i really liked it. They killed the king after going to PO's home and crossing over the moiutanian pass. They went back to the cabin and found Po but they disvovered that he was blind, but he could still interact with objects becuase he could wsee things with is mid. Bitterblue becomes the Queen. The LEinen king, who is Po's father, rids the kingdoms of LEck's lies and they live happily ever after, at least I think so.
The book got a little boring at the end uti dragged on through it. Overall it was an enjoyable book with an interesting plotline.

I've got done Ranger Apprentice so now I'm readig this book.
So far their are weird creatures living in this book and Max Sumner and his freinds play this secret card game that know one knows about except them. They don't play a regular card game they play this one with creatures in it that come to life. Max Sumner lives with his mom because his parents got into a divorce and he is rich so he never spends time with anyone exept the house keeper lady named Rosa who spends the most time with him. Si one day their was a creature named the slayer that came out of the book and tryed to kill Max. But max ran to the attic just in time and then their was another creature named Sprig. She was a girl and she wasn't bad. They talked about her life and she said that her and the other good creatures got trapped in that book for a long time. Then she called Max a master because she said he saved her life. Because when you're trapped in that book you're dead. Then she asked him a huge favor afer one day saving his life. And it was that she made a promise to a creature that she would get him out if she got out. So he let her out.

I've read three chapters and in each chapter there is a totally different topic. It is kind of weird, but it is really interesting. In the first chapter, a Nazi guy is checking the sewer for anything "important". He finds the daughter of a guy who has mixed blood (half Jewish half German) named Tola. She knows a lot of information and is taking care of a baby who could be of use, so the guy takes her on a ship. They tie the woman and the baby up, but the baby cries a lot. Then, they let her take care of the baby. She is untied next to the edge of the ship so she jumps into the ocean. The guy thinks she's dead so he searches for her body, but she is on the shore where he can't see her, bleeding to death. However, she gives the baby mouth to mouth and saves his life. A priest comes to the shore when there is an explosion and sees her.
In the next chapter, a phsychiatrist named Lisa is going to Mount Everest in Nepal to study the breathing of people at high altitudes without artificial air. A random monk comes in a helicopter comes and takes her somewhere to heal someone. When they go inside a monastery they find a zombie chief who the monk knew. The soldier that comes inside with Lisa and the monk kills him and they go on. They find another person in another room writing something on the wall with his blood. Lisa thinks it's important so she takes a picture of it, but the person writing on the wall tries to throw a harpoon at her. He ends up cutting his own throat! Ewwwww. Then they move on. They end up going outside and the monk (I think his name is Ang Gelu) gets shot by someone. Then the soldier dies and the helicopter is blown up. Lisa is alone and finds the guy who killed her aquaintances (Painter Crowe).
In the last chapter a guy named Grayson (people call him Gray) misses his girlfriend. He is on a mission mostly to romanticize with her , but he also has to solve a mystery. It is about a Bible that the Darwin family once held being in an auction. I can't go into much detail about that because I didn't finish that chapter.
This book is great. I can't put the book down. However the pages are very long, and the book is very confusing. I've never read a book that had a different storyline in each chapter and makes you want to read more and more. James Rollins has a unique style of writing, and I kind of like it. I can't wait to finish thins book!

Chapter 19 - 22
Nicodiemus continued to tell Mrs. Frisby his story. Nicodiemus was planing an escape with Justin and Jenner. They almost found their way out a few times but it was to risky, and they needed the rest of the RATS. On the day of their escape Jonathan asked the RATS if himself and the other mice could come too. He said yes. On their way out (for good) through the air vent, six out of eight of the mice died when their was an unexpected gust of air. Nicodiemus also started to explain how the RATS, Jonathan, and Mr. Ages (the two mice who survived) got to the farm where they are living.
This book is very good; the author is very clever. He has thought of many good ideas. There is one confusing part. The author uses to similar names and it is hard to remember which RAT is which
P.S. I forgot to tell you that in the last Lemony Snicket book the Baudelaire's mother's name was Beatrice. (That is who I told you about in a previous blog. To be exact October 30th 2008!)

This story is about a group that is sent intothe amazon to look for a plant that might be the cure toa never-before seen disease that is spreading throughout north and south america. So far they have been chased by carnvoruos piranha frogs, man eating locusts, and lost 3 people to 120 foot lopng caimans. They are nearing the desined location, which is then homeland of a mythical jaguar/human people called the Ban-Ali, or Blood Jaguars.
I really like this Author. He keeps you wondering about what will happen next. Most of the time it is action based but there are certain parts of the book that are very rare that sort of drag by. Otherwise its a hard book to stop reading.

In the part I read, Moushumi and Gogol get married, but decide not to have children yet. Gogol has a job as an architect and Moushumi has a job as a teacher. Gogol is forced by his wife to go to parties hosted by people he doesn't even know. You see, Moushumi went to Paris alone when she was younger and met a guy. They were going to get married but he disagreed at the last minute. The people who hosted these parties introduced Moushumi to that guy. That is why Gogol doesn't like them.
At Moushumi's school, she finds out that the secretary died. In the secretary's mailbox, she finds a letter from an old friend of her's. She finds his phone number and she cheats on Gogol. This is where I left off.
I wonder how Gogol is going to react when he finds out about Moushumi. I predict that Gogol will get a divorce. The part that I read was interesting. The way the author makes Gogol and Moushumi's conversations is clever.

one random summer day Martha Boyle get a message saying that her "friend" Olive was riding her bike and a car crashed into to her. she flew up in the air and landed head first on the pavment. the woman that gave her the message also her gave her a note which contained olives hopes. she wanted her closest friend to fofill them for olive since should could no longer do. it said she wanted to write a novel about a girl nad it takes place on the beach. martha was honored to get them but she dident know why her she wasent real good friends with olive. marthas dad is a author and one day when hes going out to buy stuff he tells martha to take her baby sister lucy out in her stroller. she is on the corner of kickboxer and monroe streets. this is where olive died. she takes a blue piece of chalk from the stroller and writes OLIVE in all capitals. when she got home she got a phone call from her friend holly she asked if she heard about olive. they both felt bad that they wernt friends with her before. when the whole familys home at dinner including mom and older brother vince they all now about olive. this is a rough time for them so they flew from californa to massachutes to vist goodbe (grandma) because they always love it there at the beach

Ive read this book but I will tell you something about it.
Will was walking down a path and he was going to sea. Because their was an important assignment that he had to do but then a differnt assighment came up so he did this and their was a Rumor that The Monster of the Woods was seen and their was a lot of flashing lights out of no where, green and red. And Lanterners going on and of. Any won who went in the woods never came back. So Will was assigned to find out as much imformation as possibly and to tell Halt and Crowly. So Will went as a Joungler and that was his disgusment which was preety cool.

Pete (a sixteen year old boy) lives with his cousin Richard (a twelve year old boy) whose parents died when he was a baby. Pete has many social problems. One is about a girl named Maybelle. At first he doesn't like her because she was mean to him, but when he is a sophomore he starts to. It all starts when he sits next to her in school. Then eventually he gives her a carton of cigarettes. Maybelle becomes Pete's girlfriend. Pete actually took her to the movies. Pete also has a problem with Richard also known as Sucker. Pete is normally really mean to Sucker. One day Sucker asks Pete if he likes him. Pete says yes! Pete and Sucker are very friendly and talk a lot with each other. One day every thing went wrong. Maybelle started hanging out with a guy who drives a roadster and she was mean to Pete again. The same day Pete was extremely mean to Sucker because he was in a bad mood. Sucker got very, very mad at Pete and was never going to forgive him. Pete wanted to make it up t him but he couldn't.
I think this story takes place in the past. One reason is that when Pete takes Sucker and Maybelle to the movies it costs one dollar for three tickets and a snack. Also, all of the high school students smoke and they are not getting in trouble for doing it. Another reason is that Richard an Pete are not very popular names but they were back then. This story was very clever. If Abigail said what Pete said to me I would not forgive her either.

So far, Mary Lennox, the main character, has learned that her uncaring parents have died of a serious disease (they live in India), and she is going to live with her Uncle, Mr. Craven, in the English countryside. She discovers that he is a hunchback, and isn't at his home, Misselthwaite Mannor, very often.
She is soon taken by Ms. Crawford, lady in waiting and assistant, from India to London, and from London, to the countryside. In Misselthwaite Mannor, Mary meets her lady-in-waiting, Martha, who speaks in an understandable accent.
I really love this book. Although, sometimes I cant read what Martha is saying: she says,"th'" and "tha'" and it's hard to comprehend. I hate how Mary is so mean to everyone. Even though her parents never really paid any attention to her, it doesn't mean that she cant pay attention to people to actually care about her.
She could at least PRETEND to listen!

So far, this book is about a boy named Alex Rider. This is the 7th book in the series. In the last book,Ark angel, alex goes on a mission to stop a floating hotel from crashing into earth. After he completes the mission, he goes into his landing ship. (This is where snakehead begins) Alex lands in the coast of Australia and is found there by the Australian secret service. They are confused why a kid went into space. They read all alex's files and figure out he's and agent and a good one too. The send alex to Sydney instead of England where he lives. They do this because they need him for a mission. They talk to him and send him to bangkok where he is working with his godfather trying too stop snakehead from blowing something up (i don't know what they will blow up or why they blow it up so don't ask). After he disguises himself as an afgan kid, he gets taken out of his hotel room and into a snake head secret street fighting cage. (i know street fighting is on the streets but i forgot the word they used.).they do this because they expect him to be weak and want to see him get killed. But, he showed them otherwise and escaped. He was about get shot when a stanger shot the person who was shooting alex. Alex follwed the person that help him the a buddhist temple. There the person cought him a shoved him. Then alex soon realized it was someone he knew. It was fox from his MI6 training camp.
This book is very good. Of course it is good because i'm reading it after 6 other books from the series. These books are good because i like action novels and it has lots of points in the story when you are forced to read on.

Yes-I finaly started a new book, and yes-I actualy "like" it.
This book is about a kid named Artemis Fowl who devotes his life to crime. His family is rich and each member has a servant. Artemis has a servant who is trained and he calls him Butler (I don't even know). Artemis is an internet surfer at first, but he finds out that fairies and trolls exist (it is not a baby book; it has good vocabulary). He devises a plan in which he finds information about the People (magical creatures). Then he captures a fairy and tries to earn a fortune from magical patents (that's evil). Meanwhile, the LEP officers (magical police) try to save Holly Short (the fairy Artemis captured). That is all I read.
This book is-I don't know-interesting? It is a full series, so expect to see a lot of Artemis Fowl blogs. I really like Eoin Colfer as an author. I read another book by him called Half-Moon Investigations in fourth grade, which I really liked.
P.S. Artemis is violent. The way he captured the fairy was shooting her in the leg. What a way to kill a fairy!

I read this book a long time ago but i never blogged on it. The supernaturalist is a book about a kid named cosmo hill. He is a "human guinea pig". up till he was twelve, he thought about escapes. Then he had a perfect chance. A testwent wrong andan alarm broke out. He and his friend ziplock escaped. but the mean manager, Redwood saw. he started chasing them. While they were being chased,the got to a dead end on top of a building. their only chance was to jump on a generator. Ziplock. died and cosmo stayed alive. But, he saw these weird life force that sucked the life oout of themm. Then the supernaturalist cam. (people who kill those life forces)htye told him only few people could see them. They find out at the end that they actually just take out the pain a have to stop another person from killing them.
No offense to eoin colfer, but this is a bad book. it has very untrue facts. it is also extremely boring. the book is a waste of time. if you are thinking about reading it, take my advice and stop...

I am going to tell you some things about the story.
Will was in his room thinking about what happened last night and about the night monster. Suddenly Alyssa came into the room. Will was so suprised and happy to see her. He hugged her tiged and told what had happened to him last night and he also said it wasn't peaceful. She said it was probaly somebody doin it and hes probaly just doing it for a prank or to scare the people in the castle and the city and also a little further.
So the next day they went in the Grisdelle Woods and they weren't that scared because it was during the day and Will said he was never going back in the dark ever again. They found a lot of tricks and it looked like someone set this up so people could get scared and run away. Will and Allysa wanted to find out who was behind his really bad and they weren't going to stop looking till they found him or her. But they were going to look tomorrow.

Heat takes place in the Bronx,NY and is a about a 12 year old boy named michel. he lives with this woman named Ms. Cara (Ms.C)who takes care of kids and michel has only one living relitive and that is his brother who is a junior in highschool. in the begining of the story ms. c someone steals her purse. she started to run after the thief and a cop joins the chase. after a couple blocks the thief is knocked out. and get this michel "accidentlly" hit the guy in the head with a baseball. the next day michel piches four straight innnings and is getting ready for the little leagues.
this book to me is like exciting at one point and then boring then exciting. its kind of like a slow heart rate beating slowly.

When martha gets off the plane and closer to here grandmas house she gets the glittery feeling. a feeling she gets when she gets closer to the beach. her family called there grandma godbee because when martha was little she her mom dad and older brother vince called her grandma b martha couldent pronounce that when she was a toddler. as usual her mom and lucy went up to bed her dad went out somewhere her and godbee played parcheesi. vince used to play with them but now he hangs out with godbees neighber the manning kids jmmy, tate, tood, luke and leo. when her father got back he decided to quite his dream to be a writer and go back to his old job for more money. before they went up to bed after parcheesi godbee thought something was wrong so she made a promise that each day there toghather they have to tell each other a secret starting tomarrow. when she woke up the next morning she was greeted by lucy who every morning she go's to martha and kisses her alot untill they get a good kiss. martha told godbee that she wanted to be a writer. thats one of her depessed darkest secerts
i like it so far it sounds like alot of things could happen and many adventures could unfold

Chapters 1-7 (The chapters are not related to one another)
(For the week of February 9th - February 13th)
This book takes place in 1912 in Manhattan. There are five Jewish sisters, Gertie (4 years old), Charlotte (6 years old), Sarah (8 years old), Henny (10 years old), and Ella (12 years old.) In the beginning of the book Sarah looses her library book. When she goes to the library she is very apologetic and she has to pay for the book. The library lady makes a deal with her, because Sarah told her she was saving her money to buy a doll. She said, " I will let you pay one penny a week so you can pay for the book and your doll." The other four sisters said that they would help pay for the book. In the second chapter the author talks about how important chores are (in particular dusting.) None of the sisters like dusting, so Mama made up a game. She said that she would hide twelve buttons in the main room. If you do a good job dusting, you should find all of the buttons. After all of the girls got their turn Mama said she didn't have enough time to hind all of the buttons every day, so she wasn't going to tell them how many buttons or if there were any buttons. In chapter 3 the girls go to their father's shop. They see all of his friends. Papa tells them that there is a surprise for them. There were books. the girls said they never thought they would have a book, now they had many. In the next chapter Gertie and Charlotte when to the store and spent their pennies. They bought chocolate babies and crackers. During the night the sisters ate the candy and crackers. Mama found crumbs in the bed and scolded them. Gertie and Charlotte never ate crackers in bed again, but they still ate candy. In the 5th chapter it was almost Shabbat. The whole family (not Papa) went to the market. They each bought different foods with their pennies while Mama was shopping for Shabbat dinner. Papa came home and they ate. In the last chapter I read it was Papa's birthday. Ella thought that they should buy him a present, so they did. A lot of things were to expensive but they found a beautiful tea cup with father written on it. When they gave it to Pap he thought that it was a waste of money. Of course he didn't say that but he really did love it since it came from his daughters.
I like thins book, because I'm a Jewish girl and I can relate to the five sisters. I think I am most like Ella because she is the oldest, the most mature, and she is a good role model for her younger sisters. The author is very clever. This is a good book.

she tells godbee about the story she wants to write about a girl named olive and her adventures living on the beach. martha sawl vince and the mannings all togater walking down the beach. she never really talked to any of the mannings but she was eager to meet them. ecspcaily tate. she heard one of the mannings calling to her. or so she thougt. she said by to godbee and walked over to them. but it was jimmys voice she heard. she went and asked what they were doing. jimmy was making a "major motion" film called the world is not what you think it is. jimmy invited martha back to his house to watch what they made of the movie so far just the two of them. after that jimmy and martha grow a strong relation ship. because of godbees dael to tell each other secrets which martha forgot about for the moment. in the hall when they passed each other godbee said that she couldent taste or smell any more.

This is my tenth and last (i think) blog this trimester. I really liked this short story that you assigned surprisingly.
In this story, a boy named Pete mistreats his live-in cousin. He ignores him all the time just like a girl he likes named Maybelle. When she finally starts to notice Pete, he starts being friendly toward Sucker. They always talk to each other about their personal lives and Sucker even comes with Pete to his date with Maybelle. However, it all goes wrong in the end. Maybelle starts going out with another guy, and Pete is angry. When he is angry, he takes out his anger on Sucker and says very mean things. This is an unforgivable thing, so Sucker never forgives Pete for doing this. The room that they used to share now became Sucker's room. Pete tries to make it up to Sucker, but it's impossible. Pete becomes lonely.
Again, I surprisingly liked this story. It was creatively written and hard and to put down!
P.S. I believe this is one of the only short stories that you assigned that was this interesting.

The government is unable to break this code and is afraid that terrorists can get their hands on it and plan an attack withou the government knowing about it. They send Susan flethchers husband to retrieve a ring from the creator of the program becuase the ring has the answer on it. Her husband goes all arond Span looking for it but eventually gets it from this girl. Then this guy shows up and tries to kill him. He got saved by these governemnt agents and they discovered that the progrm was going to eat away he security filters for the Us's databank. They discovered that the password was three, which was hiow many fingers the man that created had becuase of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bobings, and that was the differnce of the atomis weight of the amount of uranium used in the bombs.

well right now micheal is in a tough sichuation. other team coaches don't think he is twelve and signed a potition to show the baseball board his birth certificate. micheal doesn't have one because his dad forgot to take it to America when they left cuba and he doesnt have any proof on how old he is because his dad is dead and no one knows it. also this newsreporter want micheal and his family to go in the newpaper for stopping the thief by hitting his head with a baseball.
so far this book has had its ups and down but i think micheal is going to get through it all. but if he doesnt well that will suck.

martha started having second thoughts about jimmy at dinner one night were they ate lobsters. martha would never eat any thing that came from the sea not even fifh sticks. but she got over it soon enough. jimmy needed martha to help him with his movie in the love section. he took her to some old beat up, worn down, huge peice of junk house called the betons place. it used to be a hourse ranch untill it went out of busniess. they had to go thorugh a whole lot to get there but they made it. jimmy held marthas hand and other mushie gushie love stuff and held her hand all the way home from the bentons place. martha went home and started her book. she based it on what was happening to her only slightly differrent. like her name was olive and jimmy was james and she replaced every ones elses name too.
thoughs chapters were kind of short but there is deffiatley going to be some major conflict between jimmy and martha soon.

The ship is Snakehead's and transports foriegn people illiegally to australi. he esacapes the box so he could also finish the mission MI6 gave him. He located the bomb and put his fingerprint in it. Later he finds the control room of the bomb and deactivates it.
Snake head was a reallly good book. The author makes alex have impossible situations that the only way to win is to die and he doesn't win. and he still esacapes.

When Alyssa and Will team up they make a strong group. They fight really good and their really strong and smart. They can handle anything buy their selves. They also know a lot about their jobs.
So Will and Alysa were trying to find out what could of caused the big monster and the lights. They already knew that it had to been a person. So that day they went in the woods to look for any evidence. Alysa is very smart and she found vines so the person must of swung from the vines with the lights. Then they found this kind of fake flowernd this big light thing and like a ghost costume. It looked scary so that had of been the big scary monster. He was gigantic. Over 10 foot. So they found all of this evidence and other clues that they thought it was a guy that was a docter and a scientist a long time ago that would save people with his magic when they were really ill. And he was one of the most famous people their in the castle and the village execept the king of coarse. But then one day this kid was about to die and he gave the kid the potion and the kid still died and everyone thought he killed the person on purpose which was a lie so he left the place and whent to live in Grisdelle woods. So that was who probaly did it because he dosen't want to be bothered because no one likes him and he dosen't like them. And he is also one of the smartest in the orld so he set up all the tracks.
The author John Flanogan is a great author who has a lot of books and the seris call Ranger Apprentice. He has a lot of skills in writing and he is ood at making up acton books. So everyone should start reding his books.

Everyone wanted Keren to be the king because they think he is better than the other one which isn't true. They didn't believe the king which wasn't that good and people are going to regret it. So mabye they could change their minds.

I had finished this book and thought that it wasa really good. There are these two twin Djinn named Phillapa and John who both head with their uncle and his servant to the amazon. Phillapa made a promise to a girl that she would bring her. They all went and after facing several giant creatures reached the eye of the forest. They met a friend and an enemy there. They discovered that the girl they brought with them was a traitor. He threatened to kill their father if they followed them then went through the erye of the forest. They discovered that completing the ritual would create a nuclear reaction. They found out their father was safe and went after them. THey found the man but their friend was missing. Phillapa discovered that she had magical shoes and put them all in an anti-nuclear bunker. She teleports herslef o where the friend was but found that he had done the ritual but it was not complete so there was no explosion. Their friend was blastd into a ood and evil part. The evil part killed the good part, but Phillapa escaped before he could get her.

Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH
Chapter 22 - End
For the Week of February 16 - February 20
The RATS start Mrs. Frisby's plan. So Mrs. Frisby and Justin go to the farmer's house to put the sleeping potion in Dragon's food bowl. Justin tells her what to do and she does it successfully. But the farmer's youngest son, Billy, captures Mrs. Frisby in a colander, and then he puts her in the empty canary cage. Justin over hears what happens and with out Mrs. Frisby knowing leaves, tells her children every thing is fine, and tells the RATS to move her house. While Justin is doing that, Mrs. Frisby over heard the the farmer talking about seven RATS (Jenner's Group) that died because they were trying to take an electric motor from a hardware store. He also said people from NIMh were coming to dig up the rosebush. When everyone went to sleep Justin freed Mrs. Frisby, she notified him. In the end the house was moved safely except the Shrew would not let the RATS move Mrs. Frisby's house. All, except for ten, of the RATS left to raise crops and live a non-stealing life. The ten RATS (including Brutus and Justin) stayed in the RAT hole. When the people from NIMH came and sprayed the poison in the hole, seven RATS came out of the hole. Then one RAT, Brutus walked out and fell over. Later I found out that one RAT who died was most likely Justin. At the very end of the book Timothy is all better.
This book was very good. The ending was very flat. I saw the movie. It wasn't very good because it was so different from the book. I would never have expected for Jenner's group to die and have the people from NIMH come.

Well so far im only like on page 15 but its a pretty good book. It s about this girl who has an ability called a grace. There are a bunch of different graces but hers was killing. She was on a mission when she met this guy that she could barely hurt, becuase his grace was fighting. He knew that she was a princess that was supposed to be heading to a different kingdom but he promised not to tell becuase he trusted her. She ended up kicking him on the forehead and putting him unconcious. Then she leaft.
Thats all ive read so far in the book ill update tommorrow for another blog.

Since the blogs aren't due by the Friday of any given week, I’ll just write today’s date, 2/19/09.
In the part I read, Artemis Fowl captured Holly Short and the LEP officers had to save her. They got a criminal to help save her because he was good at breaking into houses and he was a dwarf so he could chew through clay to break in. Artemis Fowl is very clever and the LEP does everything (even sends a troll that nearly kills Artemis Fowl's servant), but Artemis stops them. The LEP commander ends up going and negotiating with Artemis Fowl. However, the LEP has the conversation all on tape and finds Artemis's flaw. He said "You are not welcome while I am alive." Now, the LEP is trying to kill Artemis Fowl to save Holly.
This book is interesting. The fairies surprisingly have a very advanced technology (bio-bombs which kill only people and don’t affect land and solar cameras). I like the way Eoin Colfer creates suspense; I couldn’t put the book down.

Artemis is a 12 year old boy. But, he is no regular boy. He's a criminal mastermind. During this book artemis Tries to capture fairies to restore hid family's fortune. In the begining, after defeating a troll, holly (a fariy)'power get weaker. Holly then has to renew her powers. Artemis captuers her and brings her back to his house. Artemis is always one step ahead of everybody else so he know holly's boss is going to come and get her back. This is exactly what he wants. Holly's boss actually comes after they sent a bunch of troops there and they all get knocked unconsious. They put a time stoppping device around the house so nobody can send messages to people out of the house. Artemis talks with Root (holly's boss)and they try to make a deal. Meanwhile a dwarf digs his way into Artemis's house while he eats the dirt. This is no ordinary dwarf. He is a criminal dwarf that has to help Holly or he will get sent to jail. He picks the lock and realizes that Artemis has the book. (A book that tells you everything about the faries.)
I like this book. Not so much though because the author writes in a way that's hard to read. I thinks it's the font he uses. But, anyway, this is a very good book. Don't worry i will post another blog on this. Oh Yeah

Will and Alyssa found the scientist named Mahammed in the the woods so they could get the king cured in time before he dies. But then all of these cretures came out of no where and were going to them. It must of been really scary. They didn't know who they were and they were still coming foward at Will. Will threatened them and was about to kill one but then a voice came out of no where. The voice had said stop. It was Mahammed. He said what are you doing here and they said they have to save the king and they asked him to do. But first the king told them who the creatures were. He said he went to differnt countries looking for these weird people that are shaped wrongly like a square and a triangle. He said he didn't kill the little boy on purpose but nobody believed him so he moved to the Grisdelle woods. Where he could be save from the villagers. He also saaid he set up the prancks to scare people in the woods. And everybody believed him which was pretty funny if you thought about it before.So the scientist gave him his medicin and it worked and the king was all back to normal. And they had to find a plan to get the cousin Keren of the king killed.

Chapters 5-9
Mary Lennox hears a strange crying in the night, but is not allowed to leave her room unattended during "sleep-hours". She hears it again the next night, and the next, until finally, she goes to look for the person crying. She finds a boy, who's name is Collin, sitting in bed. She calms him down by talking to him, and singing him to sleep. The next morning, she is ordered to see him by Martha, the maid. He sends his own maid out of the room, so that no one would know Mary would be with him. She tells him of the SECRET GARDEN she hopes to find. The next day, she goes outside, and, while folowing a robin, sees a key in the dirt. She picks it up, and finds that it's the key to the garden; all at once, she wind blows the ivy on the brick wall next to her, over, and she sees the door to the garden. She opens the door with the key, and thinks about how the garden managed to last about 10 years without any care for it.
I love this book, AND the movie. I like how Mary is becoming prettier, and how they say the moor's wind and her jump roping is helping make her a little stronger. I want to see what happens to the garden...

Chapters 17 and 20
(not much happened in the chapters between 17 and 20 that i can describe without describing the whole book!)
Mary is going to tell Colin about the garden, until she hears that he is throwing a tantrum. She runs to his room, and yells at him. She tells him that he should shut his mouth, or she wouldn't tell him about the garden, or a boy she was fond of. He quiets down after this, and she tells him of the boy, Dickon, and how he is an animal charmer: he can talk to animals, and they understand him.
In chapter 20, Mary brings Colin outside, for his first time in years, and Dickon and Mary bring him to the SECRET GARDEN, and Colin feels that he will live forever, and ever, and ever even if he may have a hunchback.(that's what the name of the chapter is: "I Shall Live Forever, and Ever, and Ever"; go figure!)
I like how the garden is STILL growing after 10 years of no care. I love this book! Im going to keep reading!

Chapter 21
Mary thinks that Colin should go into the SECRET GARDEN everyday: Colin tells all the workers to go away, to make sure no one knows that they have been into the garden. But then, a worker named Ben Weatherstaff, sees them inside the garden while standing on a ladder and looking over the sorrounding wall. The children make him keep the secret, and he tells them that he hd been working in the garden for the past 10 years by climbing over the wall and jumping into it.
WOW! i didn't see that coming... ben seemed like he was going to be only a small character, and not a main one! Im going to keep reading! :)

One rainy day, Mary goes into Colin's room and finds that the curtain that usually hangs over his dead mother's laughing portait, is drawn. Colin tells her that he had drawn the curtain last night because he felt strong, and felt that she wasn't lauging because he was going to have a hunchback, but because she ws happy to see him walking and running, and fixing her beloved garden. That day, the children run around the manor, without being seen, while looking through all of the untouched rooms. They have a lot of fun!

Chapter 27 - the last chapter!!! :)
Mr. Craven, Colin's father is away, when he realizes that he misses the garden. He comes home in search of the key. During this time, Colin has been getting stronger, and he can now run, and jump, and beat Dickon at races. He is helping to fix the garden. When Mr.Craven comes home, he finds that the door is unlocked; he opens the door, and Colin runs into him - he was racing with Mary. He tells his father that he is strong, and that he will not have a hunchback, and that he will live forever, and ever, and ever. His father is very happy, and regrets neglacting him. He tells Colin that the only reason he neglacted him was because he reminded Mr.Craven so much of Colin's mother, and so did the garden. He locked the garden and kept away from Colin because he did not want to be reminded of her.
This book was great. I wish that the author made a second SECRET GARDEN. That would be soooooo coool! :)

This book is about a genius boy named artemis fowl. Artemis thinks everything ahead of time and is never wrong. He never loses. In the story he captures a LEP officer named holly short. holly is the only girl officer. Artemis says he will only give her back if the give him 2 tons of 26 carrot gold. the lep think they have a plan that they give him the gold, then bio-bomb the house, then take the gold back. Artemis found away to survive the bio-bomb so he sleeps (thats the trick) because he in a frozen time place and then he won't be killed. He wakes up the next day but the gold is gone. this is book one so he probably will attempt to restor his fortune again.
I read this book fast. I liked it a lot. I especially like how creative artemis was and he was doing things i wouldn't even think of

This is my first non-fiction book! even though it was only 30 pages. The whole idea beyond this book was that in every atom, there are the same amount of protons and neutrons. But, they can jump from one to another. Causing the charge to be north or south. opposite ends attract. It tells you that every material can be charged but the pull depends on the material. Also, only some materials let energy currents through causing it to move the currents. It shows you how switches, light bulbs, and heaters work.
This book was interesting because i've always wanted to know how it worked. I went to the library and got that because i thought it would be interesting. Electricity currents are very interesting. I thought this book was made in china because the pictures of the batteries were chinese batteries. When i read the authors note, turns out she lives in italy.

one day for the love section of jimmys movie he kissed martha full on the lips. after the kiss jimmy said "yes i so won the bet". martha was confused so jimmy told her about the bet he maid with tate that he couldent get footage of him kissing martha. martha was sad and deffenatly dosent have a crush on jimmy any more. she ran away crying. at the end of the day after writing more of her story tate came over and talked to martha to cheer her up he said that before she goes back home in wishconsin he will come and give her somthing. tate was really late that morning martha stalled as long as she could but they had to go. but tate caught up with the backing up car and gave martha a brown paper bag. inside the bag was the tape of martha and jimmy kissing. on it was a note saying " i was the one who really liked you all along jimmy was just using you
tate"
i think the ending was intresting. you figure out that martha was right about tate liking her the whole time and that jimmy is very dumb to tell martha about the bet

Ive read like another 140 pages of Graceling and so far Katsa was sent on another mission. She then returned and found the Leined guy she met on her other mission. They become friends and practice fighting each other. Yet agian KAtsa gets sent on a mission this time to get a wife for the king from this guy that promised to give him one. He didnt but Katsa didnt kill him becuase she thought that his daughters didnt deserve that horrible fate. On their way back Giddon proposes and gets really pissed when Katsa says no. She realized the Leined waho's name was Po could actually read peoples mind at least when they were thinking about him. Katsa gets mad at him. Po tells everyone he's leaving and Katsa is called to the King. She threatens everyone (The two-hundred gaurds) to let her leave or else. THey let her go and she left with Po.
I ended here. I really liked this book becuase the other pops alot of surprises out and I really lke that.

Well this blog isn't so much about micheal. its about his brother carlos. now i haven't said much about him because he always talkin about hpw his job is and things like that. but this whole i found out he lied he been selling ticket to Yankee games. also his normal first job boss is getting curious. his boss for selling tickets is the guy who micheal threw the ball at his head and his name is ramond.
i thought it would be worst like if his brother got in a gang or gambled on chicken fights. everything is bad with micheal and carlos

Chapter 7-End
(For the week of February 23th-February 27th)
In this chapter it was Purim. The five girls went to the synagogue with Papa. Then they delivered Purim baskets and paraded around the New York streets. Sarah was mad because she could not give the library lady her basket when she was in her costume, and on Purim. Then some relatives visited their house. Gertie, Charlotte, Sarah, and Henny played music while Ella sang. Everyone said she sang like an angel. In the next chapter Sarah got in trouble because she didn't want to eat her soup. The girls made a chant: No Soup No Meat No Vegetables No Fruit No Meat No Vegetables No Fruit No Penny. Sarah didn't eat her soup. So when the others got meat Sarah did not get any. For snack after school she got soup. Then for dinner she got soup. It was lumpy and unappetizing; Sarah cried and finally ate it. She got the rest of her food and was no longer in trouble. In the next chapter Sarah was sick. Henny was mad because she never got sick. The doctor came. SARAH HAD SCARLET FEVER! When the other girls came home from school they were all checked. ELLA HAD SCARLET FEVER TOO! The three well girls were not allowed to see Ella and Sarah A few days later when Mama was cleaning the house for Passover Gertie and Charlotte felt sick. The doctor checked them too. GERTIE AND CHARLOTTE HAD SCARLET FEVER! Mama had to finish preparing for the holiday and she had four sick daughters. Henny was lonely, and she when into the "sick room" whenever Mama wasn't looking. The doctor said she could not get scarlet fever. On Passover there were no relatives and the sick girls were not at the table. Every Charlie brought them presents because they were sick. They all got better. Then the fourth of July came. There was a big celebration on the New York streets; there were a lot of fire crackers and other appealing things. While every one was asleep Ella over heard mama and Papa talking about Charlie. Charlie's parents wouldn't let him marry his lover so he ran away and was still looking for her. Ella tarted crying because the story was so sad (and she loved Charlie. Mama and Papa comforted her. In the next chapter because of the heat the ladies took a family outing. They went to Coney Island and played in the water. Then they went to Playland. While they were there Henny got lost. Everyone was frantic. Mama looked for her; then Ella looked for her. A man told her she would be at the police station. She was there. Henny was eating ice cream and candy. The officer bought it for her. They went home. The next chapter was about Sukkot. Papa built it and Ella designed it. Sarah invited the library lady. And when she brought her to the backyard she saw Charlie. The library lady, Ms. Allen, was Charlie's lover. In the last chapter Mama was pregnant and going to give birth. All five girls couldn't go to sleep. Gertie didn't want to be an older sister. Papa wanted the baby to be a bay. The baby was born early in the morning. Four girls were asleep, Ella was awake. She heard Papa crying; he was so happy. The baby was named Chiam and his nick-name was Charlie.
This book was very good. I think I'm a lot like Ella (except for the singing part!!) because she is a good role model for younger children and she is kind and gentile. I liked how the family was Jewish. I wish I knew what happened next with the baby. This book was very good

(you probably don't know this book because it isn't popular. My mom just randomly selected this book from the Library. Its a very good book though). Okay. Here's how it goes...
This boy named Rennie Muldoon is a very gifted child. But he is very lonely. He parents died when he was very little. He lived in an orphanage but the kids there didn't like what he liked so he wasn't popular. The ONLY person that liked him was his teacher. She thought he was the most gifted person she every met and she was definitely right. He was super smart. When Rennie sees an ad in the newspaper about a contest Rennie's teacher insist he join because she knows he'll win. When he takes the test he wins. The first page was normal but the 2nd asks you personal questions like "Do you listen to the radio or watch TV". When Rennie wins, he has another test. This has impossible questions and even sends kids out crying. But then, Rennie figures out all the answers are in the test itself in different questions.At the end there are 3 people left. Him,Sticky (They call him that because everything he reads sticks to his head. His real name is George Washington(I know)), and Kate. Sticky didn't figure out the trick though. He actually knew the answers to the questions.After that, they meet Mr. Benedict. They figure out that the only reason they were asked if they liked TV was because people are sending messages through TV to depress people.
This book isn't known that well but it is very good. it's a 500 page book also and it's 19 Ar points so it will help me get a head start on the next trimester.This is a good book if you like people that are above the average so you could see how it's like to be a genius.

Well im alot farther in Graceling almost done so ill tell you what happened. Po and Katsa fell in love and htne discovered who kidnapped PO's Grandfather. theyw ent to kill him but Po got injured. They found Po's couysin, bitterblue. They eventually had to leave Po behind becuase he was slowing they down and the evil king might cathc up to them. They found him an underwater cave to hide in and a cabin so he could survive. They headed On and once they got through the forest they headed up to the mnountians because thats the last place the king would look for them. Freom were I am now they ahve been traveling in the mountains for a couple of days.
I like this author and think it's cool how some people are graced with special abilites. I really want to low what going to happen and I will post again Tomorrow.

Test takes place in the future where all the roads are bloked and jammed up by cars driven by middle class people. The High class are oil buisness owners and CEOs of important buisnesses. They have helicopters to take them every where on skyways. Lower class people walk everywhere and it gets them around faster. A girl(who is the main character) is being followed by her dads CEO. The CEO threatens her because her dad is telling people at the Grand diamond not to pay there rent. (that is the dads bosses buisness). The dad hides at home so the boss goes after her.
So far this an Okay book. It doesn't have the best story line, which I look for in everything books, movies, videogames. The author (william sleator) is a very good author and writes this story very well.

A Thief in the Theater: A Kit Mystery
Chapter 1 - 10
(For the week of February 23-February 27)
In this book Kit Kittredge, a reporter goes to a play with her friend Sterling. Kit is going to write about the play for her Childrens' Page Article for the Cincinnati Register. Then at the end of the play there is an announcement made: the play will no longer be preformed. The new play is called Macbeth. When the stage manager Rose made the announcement she said saying Macbeth in the theater was bad luck, and it should not be said in the theater. Then there was a crash behind the curtains and Graham asked if there was a doctor was in the audience. Cynthia (one of the actresses) sprained her ankle. Later Kit was asking Rose some questions about Macbeth; she wanted to know if she could come during rehearsals and interview the star Dauphine Dumont. The answer was yes, but before they finished the conversation Mr. Bell (an actor and a border at the Kittredge house) said that $107 has been robbed. He said it was a thin man wearing hat and a big jacket. Rose's dog always barks at strangers; the dog didn't bark. It must have been a cast member! The next morning Stirling was selling newspapers for his newspaper. The Hobart came and were picking on him. Bad things kept happening at the theater. Kit and Stirling could had to work on the set, cast was forgetting their lines, Graham and another actor were practicing a sword fighting seen and Graham got a cut, and the Hobart brothers beet Stirling up. Mr. Bell gave Kit money to buy soap and ice for Stirling, his wallet was full. Kit was sure the dollar he gave her was her's because it was tinted pink and the corner was torn ( she bough her ticket with a tinted pink dollar with a torn corner.) She got the ice and soap. Later in the story I found out that Dauphine stole the money. Mr. Bell got the pink dollar because Dauphine payed him to buy her lunch. She almost got away but Rose, Graham, Stirling, and kit found her. She must have pretended to be a boy to make herself seem innocent. The Hobart boys stopped picking on Stirling because Kit said she had a picture of them hurting Stirling. Macbeth went well and Rose got the money back from Dauphine.
This was a very good book. i liked the story and the author was very clever. Kit has always been my favorite American Girl ( and she still is! ) I didn't expect Dauphine to be the crook ( in fact what I thought was ironic to what happened.)

Rynie and his friends get sent to a special genius acadamy on a mission to spy on them. All the tv signals are coming from their school.when they hear the welcome speech by the owner,mr curtain,he looks exactly like mr.benedict.they think he was tricking them but when they contact mr benedict, he said mr curtain was his long lost twin brother. Sticky and dennis do really good and thief bound to become messengers. They so far have perfect scores. Messengers arethe smartests students. They get special privleges and rennie thinks they are the people that sends those messages on tv. Later, the messages start broadcasting right into their minds. This means they are increasing the power. Right now they just feel irratated and annoyed but soon they will actually hear the words in their mind and that's when it gets bad
I like this book a lot. One reason it's good is be aide it's no too unreal. It has a good plot and has a funny sense to it. I'm writing this blog on my I'll. That's why it has so many spelling errors.

I finishged the book and i really liked it. They killed the king after going to PO's home and crossing over the moiutanian pass. They went back to the cabin and found Po but they disvovered that he was blind, but he could still interact with objects becuase he could wsee things with is mid. Bitterblue becomes the Queen. The LEinen king, who is Po's father, rids the kingdoms of LEck's lies and they live happily ever after, at least I think so.
The book got a little boring at the end uti dragged on through it. Overall it was an enjoyable book with an interesting plotline.

I've got done Ranger Apprentice so now I'm readig this book.
So far their are weird creatures living in this book and Max Sumner and his freinds play this secret card game that know one knows about except them. They don't play a regular card game they play this one with creatures in it that come to life. Max Sumner lives with his mom because his parents got into a divorce and he is rich so he never spends time with anyone exept the house keeper lady named Rosa who spends the most time with him. Si one day their was a creature named the slayer that came out of the book and tryed to kill Max. But max ran to the attic just in time and then their was another creature named Sprig. She was a girl and she wasn't bad. They talked about her life and she said that her and the other good creatures got trapped in that book for a long time. Then she called Max a master because she said he saved her life. Because when you're trapped in that book you're dead. Then she asked him a huge favor afer one day saving his life. And it was that she made a promise to a creature that she would get him out if she got out. So he let her out.

I've read three chapters and in each chapter there is a totally different topic. It is kind of weird, but it is really interesting. In the first chapter, a Nazi guy is checking the sewer for anything "important". He finds the daughter of a guy who has mixed blood (half Jewish half German) named Tola. She knows a lot of information and is taking care of a baby who could be of use, so the guy takes her on a ship. They tie the woman and the baby up, but the baby cries a lot. Then, they let her take care of the baby. She is untied next to the edge of the ship so she jumps into the ocean. The guy thinks she's dead so he searches for her body, but she is on the shore where he can't see her, bleeding to death. However, she gives the baby mouth to mouth and saves his life. A priest comes to the shore when there is an explosion and sees her.
In the next chapter, a phsychiatrist named Lisa is going to Mount Everest in Nepal to study the breathing of people at high altitudes without artificial air. A random monk comes in a helicopter comes and takes her somewhere to heal someone. When they go inside a monastery they find a zombie chief who the monk knew. The soldier that comes inside with Lisa and the monk kills him and they go on. They find another person in another room writing something on the wall with his blood. Lisa thinks it's important so she takes a picture of it, but the person writing on the wall tries to throw a harpoon at her. He ends up cutting his own throat! Ewwwww. Then they move on. They end up going outside and the monk (I think his name is Ang Gelu) gets shot by someone. Then the soldier dies and the helicopter is blown up. Lisa is alone and finds the guy who killed her aquaintances (Painter Crowe).
In the last chapter a guy named Grayson (people call him Gray) misses his girlfriend. He is on a mission mostly to romanticize with her , but he also has to solve a mystery. It is about a Bible that the Darwin family once held being in an auction. I can't go into much detail about that because I didn't finish that chapter.
This book is great. I can't put the book down. However the pages are very long, and the book is very confusing. I've never read a book that had a different storyline in each chapter and makes you want to read more and more. James Rollins has a unique style of writing, and I kind of like it. I can't wait to finish thins book!
