Eon Dragoneye Reborn HAddon Antonucci First Blog of the Month
So far I am up to about page 200. It is about a girl who is pretending that shje is a boy so that she can become one of the twelve dragons apprentice. She goes to become the Rat dragon's apprentice, but her friend Dillon becomes it instead. After the ceremony that Dragon Dragon (I Know it is sort of confusing) appears and wants her (Or him) to become his apprentice this i a big deal becuase that dragon had not been seen in over 500 years. She becomes the Dragon's apprentice, but the dragon is still missing becuase it won't reveal itself. She does not know the dragon's name so she goes to the library to look for books about it. She discoveres that Lord Ido, who was becoming the rat dragon soon, took the book. She gets her friend Dillon to help her sneak into Ido's library. I stopped where they found it.
I think that in certain parts of the Story there is a lack of action but in others it is excting.
In this book it was all about Rapunzel Arugula. She lives in a tower with the mean witch Madame Gothel. The witch only feeds her twice a day breakfast and dinner. every week day she sneaks out of the tower to go to princess school with out the witch knowing one day the witch found out. the witch tried to make it impossible to get out of the tower but Rapunzel's freinds helped her get out of the tower.
I thaught that this book had many details. the book kept me wonting to read the hole way threw.
This book Is about four geniuses.reynie, Kate, sticky, and constance.they are all orphans. They enter a contest and they are the winners. They get sent on a mission because this school is believed to sent depressing brodcasts to people watching tv. When they go to the institute, they find out that the smart people become messengers and they have to become messengers to improve their grades. When they finally become messengers, they realize why the kids like the machine so much so Kate goesnto spy on the executives of the instutute. She finds out that they are brocasting with full power on their minds . This means that they would then be able to hear the word in their minds sort of like a mind control! The next day they come up with a plan to give everyone a stomach virus so they can be the only messengers that can go in the machine. When they do, Kate and constance would break in. They did it good and when they all went in, constance made the machine so confused it broke . Then mr. Benedict took control of the machine and shut it down. After they got back to the house of mr. Benedict, sticky's parents found him, miss perumaul adopted him, mr benedict adopted constance, and milligan turned out to be Kate's missing dad.
I liked this book a lot. Also It is 18 AR points. The next book is 19. The author did a good job with this book because he did a good job keeping it realistic.(i also posted this last month blog so i deleted it.)
Jordana Inkheart Chapters 1 - 14 (Some chapters are long and some are short!)
This book is about a girl named Meggie who loves reading and books. One day she reading before going to bed and was lighting candles at her bed room window. Meggie said she loved lighting candles even though Mo, her father, didn't want her to. So when she was lighting the candle she saw a figure standing in the rain. She went to get Mo. When he came to look, he told Meggie it was his friend. Mo told Meggie to go back to bed and he went to talk to the man. Meggie snuck out of bed and listened to their conversation. Meggie couldn't hear much but she did hear somethings. 1. The man's name was Dustfinger. 2. Something bad was going to happen. Then Mo and Dustfinger's conversation was done. Meggie had to run back to her room. Mo knew she was listening. The next morning Mo woke Meggie up at 5 A.M. and he told her they were moving to Meggie's Aunt Elinor's house, so Mo, the book doctor, could mend her books. Meggie packed a lot of books and when she went to see if Mo had any knew books for her. When she opened the door Mo hid a book from her, He did have books for her to read. On their way there they saw Dustfinger on the side of the road. Mo went and told him to come with Meggie and himself. Meggie ran out of the car and wouldn't come back in until she knew what was going on. Dustfinger told her a man named Capricorn was trying to get a book from Mo and he might kill him if he doesn't get it. She went back into the car. Dustfinger showed her his pet martin, named Gwin. They arrived at a big unwelcoming gate and entered. Elinor was very kind. She had thousands of books. Meggie was very upset that she was not allowed to touch the books. One night Meggie went outside and saw Dustfinger juggling. It was amazing. Dustfinger invited Meggie to watch him do more tricks at night. So Meggie asked Elinor to turn of the alarm. Meggie met Dustfinger outside at 11 o'clock sharp. When they were outside Mo was in the library fixing books. Capricorn's henchmen captured Mo and took the secret boo (or at least they thought they did!) Meggie was really upset. Later Elinor tells her the book the henchmen wanted was called Inkheart and Elinor was reading it when the men came in. Dustfinger left with the henchmen. He was the one who set up Mo, and he specifically told Mo Capricorn was in the north when they were in the south. Elinor let Meggie read Inkheart. Then in a few days Dustfinger came back. And he pretended to help Meggie find her father.
This book is very good. I love the idea so far. I think Dustfinger is having a hard time hurting Meggie (not Mo) because when she was crying when Mo was taken away he wanted to comfort her. This is a very good book.
Neil Menghani Black Order James Rollins 3/7/09 (2nd blog of the trimester) Finished (It was really long 423 pages and the pages were long too. I'm glad I'm done it!)
Even though I've read a lot, I'm going to just "summarize" it.
In the section I read, Painter and Lisa (two characters) go to Granite Castle and meet two former Nazis. Okay, I'm going to warn you. This is very confusing. Anna and Painter were both somehow struck by a "Bell" which is the key to quantum evolution. They are going to die if they don't find a workable Bell with Xerum 525 (you’re lucky I'm telling you in English and not in German!). The second former Nazi is part of the Sonnekonige (people born under the Bell who are immune to healing but die more slowly???). What is happening to people struck by the Bell is that they are slowly turning back into the small amino acids they came from. The Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) was a project that the old Nazis performed in which they discovered quantum evolution, but all of the scientists who were researching were killed! The last person to know the secret was Tola who I told you in the beginning of the book committed suicide when captured by Nazis (but I thought she was part of the Nazis). Anyway, Painter is going to die and Lisa and Gunther are trying to keep them alive. Let me tell you the other part of the story.
Grayson Pierce who knows nothing about the Sonnekonige recruits a friend named Monk who has personal problems which will come up later. Anyway, Gray and Fiona go to an auction where one of Fiona's possessions is being "auctioned off" (it's really in her purse). The people who really want it are the Waalenbergs. Okay here it goes. Gray, Fiona, and Monk go to the address where Fiona's adopted mother got the auction item (Darwin's Bible; don't ask). The address had a guy who was family with two important people, Hugo Hirszfield and Hienrich Himmler (confusing). Hugo was mad the perfect Sonnekonige and his secret was lost with Tola, Hugo's daughter and the guy's aunt (it doesn't say his name). The guy tells him about a huge library that used to be at the address. The Darwin Bible used to be there; it was one of the five books sent to the home by Hugo Hirszfield. Okay, the nameless guy's son was Ryan and he claimed to know more. He took Gray and Fiona and Mon to the Wewelsburg Castle, a museum which used to belong to Hienrich Himmler I think. Ryan told them that Heinrich and Hugo were in a society called the Thule Society and another society in it called Black Order. This society coordinated the Black Sun project. The museum director told them about a set of runes and that a symbol was the symbol of a superhuman (the Sonnekonige) and upside down, it resembled death. If you’re reading this, I just want you to know that you aren't the only one suffering. I'm suffering writing it. Anyway, the Waalenberg twins who know a lot and are the enemies of the Sigma Force (a society Gray and Painter are in). They capture Gray and Fiona and Monk at the Wewelsburg Museum. They then take them to South Africa where they live, and another story starts.
Khamisi Taylor (don't ask) went into the jungle with Marcia Fairfield and they faced a legendary Ukufa. A humanly transplanted hyena (whatever that means). Dr. Fairfield is "killed" (brought back to the Waalenbergs to be questioned) and Khamisi goes home. He is almost poisoned by a dart gun but Mosi (a guy on the Elders of the Zulu in South Africa in Hluhluwhe, Zululand Preserve. Yeah, that is the real name.) saves him. Then there is a whole different story with Painter and Lisa. They are still in Granite Castle and there is a saboteur who made the Bell kill faster. They find out it's one of the Sonnekonige and there is also another one who almost kills Lisa, but Painter shoots her, and they find out when she dies after Painter shooting her with a pistol, there is a bomb planted into her that counts down from 2:00 minutes after her heart stops. They just get to a helicopter and escape the really powerful bomb and run right into more helicopters. They just escape that when landing in base camp in the Himalayas. Then they fly to South Africa when they think a functional Bell might be at the Waalenberg estate.
Monk and Gray find themselves in cells and then are taken out to this place. Monk finds he doesn’t have his prosthetic hand. Then Ryan is dropped into a pit where one of the hyenas is. Gray and Monk are forced to tell secrets they don’t know so they bomb the place (unfortunately nobody dies). Then they run out onto a canopy (it’s a jungle) and split up. Gray goes through this thing where he fights the female twin of the two Waalenberg Sonnekonige. He finds Fiona and frees her. Then they go in the house in disguise. They gag a guard who thinks they are on his side! Then they find Marcia Fairfield who they don’t know. Fiona stays here while Gray and Marcia go and find the Bell.
Monk finds Ryan being saved by Khamisi (this is confusing; I think it’s the longest blog in the history of blogs). Anyway, Monk, Ryan, and Khamisi go and find everybody. I’ll try to name them all. It was Gunther, Anna, Painter, Lisa, Major Brooks, Mosi, Dr. Paula Kane (Marcia’s friend and business partner), Major Kellogg (I have no idea at all whatsoever so don’t even ask), Tau, and Njongo (both Khamisi’s friends. They all went inside in a mob except the Africans (Mosi, Tau, Njongo, Paula, and Khamisi). They went to the Bell. Then the Africans attacked the building. The other people got to the Bell downstairs.
While that was happening, Gray and Marcia encountered Baldric, Isaak, and Ischke (the funniest thing about this blog, and this is not a joke, is that I missed a lot of important details and on top of that I’m not even done. Anyway, they killed Isaak and Ischke (the Sonnekonige twins) and threatened Baldric who was still trying to solve some of Hugo’s runes. Then he activated the Bell to full power and it was going to kill anybody in its path. Everybody including Fiona charged in and they worked together to find a solution. Good news and bad news is that Anna and Baldric were killed. Anna’s last words were that she wasn’t a former Nazi. Gunther left in mourn and walked away. Next they healed Painter. They realized that a computer was your brain and if you willed the Bell to heal, it would heal. Then they all went to Washington D.C! (out of the blue)
Monk found out his pregnant girlfriend and Sigma Force second commander were both shot and Kat (Monk’s girlfriend) is saved with the baby. Logan (the Sigma guy) is dead and everybody goes to celebrate his death (just kidding. Anyway, everything in Africa was destroyed by Baldric’s wrist bomb, the same as the saboteur lady. I don’t want to go into Gray’s personal life.
I think this book was ummmm interesting. James Rollins is a confusing author. This is the first book that really threw me off. I expected it to be like a fantasy fiction but it was actually all based on true facts. I know it was confusing for you to read it, but imagine how it feels for me! Well, I hope you enjoyed my “fun” blog! I truly deserve a break from James Rollins Books… Wait till you read my next post… Till then keep thinking what ‘s gonna happen next….

WHere i lerft od\ff they had just left from stealing thwe book from Ido. Eon lookde and she could not read it and was mad becuase she had to go prove hersself by stopping the king monsoon.THe next day they leave and go to the village where the King Monsoon would appear. Eon is forced to share the honorary building with lord Ido. Her friends gaurd everywhere so she wont get hurt. The next day comes and Eon isnt able to summon her dragon. She tries to take the power from Lord Ido's dragon but that llows him to control her and he tells everyone what to do to stop the monsooon. Afterwards Ido finds Eon and he blackmails her by telling her that he will tell everone that she is a girl if she acts out of place. Eon meets LAdy Dela who ends up being able to read the dragn compass. It reveals that the Dragon Dragon is a Girl!!
I reall yliked this book. I was surprised hwne i discovered the dragon dragon was a girl.

this books starts in a middle sschool class room with a boy named antsy (short for antoney) does a science experiment with his friend calvin schwa. but they just call him the shwa beacause he clams to be invisible which he really isent people just dont seem to notice him. one day antsy gets a job as a dog wathcher for the man who owns the apartment buliding antsy lives in. but antsy dident know that he had 11 dogs all named after bad things like the seven deadley sins and 4 other bad names. later in the story antsys dad gave him a chalinging task to break this unbreakeble dummy. so that bacomes a regular hobby for him and his friends. eventually antsy gets a girl friend that the schwa thought was his girl friend. so one day they went into the subway and when the train came by BOOM!!!!! they threw manny (which is what they named the umbreakeble dummy) into the train tracks and sure enough the tran took his head off and cruched his body into thousands of little pices while antsy friends rejoiced antsy and lesley (girl friend) are talking and he kisses him. antsy was ok with it but the schwa went into awstruck. he rushed out the subway and ran back home. antsy went to check on him later and he completely opened up to him and told im a dreadful story that when he was little he was in a shopping cart at a grocerie store in the frozen food section. his mom left beacause she forgot to pick up somthing in a different isle and never came back. but no one could see the shcwa as a screming crying baby. but eventually he was found. antsy went to investigate at the same store at 10:00 P.M the only person there was a big meaty buchare antsy went up and asked if he knew any thing about the screaming baby. so antsy got the shcwa and brought him to the buchare. the buchare told them the story that his mother ended up talking to a buchare up front they talked and talked like there was no tomarrow and figuered out they had intrested in common. so they ran out the store to travle the globe. nether antsy nor the schwa moved. after a couple weeks pasted and antsy hadent heard from the schwa. soon he got a letter from the schwa but the stamp was from key west where he was with mother whom he tracked down. so in the end all was well for the schwa P.S im starting to read the sequal of this book soon Antsy Does Time

Meggie, Elinor, and Dustfinger were on there way to rescue Mo. A man named Basta stopped them; Dustfinger talked to him, and the three were let in to see Capricorn. Capricorn was very nasty, and he was mad Dustfinger brought Elinor. After Capricorn insulted them Basta the two of them up. Elinor was cursing alot. Then Meggie saw Mo. They were very happy to be reunited although Mo was upset that Meggie went with Dustfinger. While they were locked up Mo told Elinor and Meggie what really happened to his wife, Dustfinger, Capricorn, Basta, and one other guy. When Meggie was three years old, Mo read stories to her mother. Inkheart was her favorite story. One day when they were reading, there was a scary part and Meggie's mother told Mo to read softer, the next thing they knew the mother was gone and four men appeared, Capricorn, Dustfinger, Basta, and one other man. They all wanted to get back into the book, Mo wanted his wife back. Then after the story was over Meggie went to sleep. The next morning the three went to talk to Capricorn again.
This book is very good. I loved the story Mo told, and I thought it was very sad. I lope at the end of the series (or book) the mother comes back.
Neil Menghani Map of Bones James Rollins 1-211 3/15/09
At the beginning of this story, two people go to a service in Cologne, Germany (Mandy and Jason). When everybody who follows the religion (not Jason) goes to take Communion (they eat wafers or something) they get electricuted by the m-state of gold in the wafers. This is because the Dragon Court (people who are after something) put the "gold" (which has other platinum elements in it) to kill everybody. Then, they steal the bones of the Magi (the three kings from the Bible). This brings Sigma Force (Gray, Monk, and Kat), Rachel (a Carabineri officer from Italy), and Monsignor Verona (a priest) to come and solve the mystery of the bones. They find out that the bones aren't really bones, but the m-state platinum elements itself. Then they find out that by "Bones of the Magi", it means the Magi really made the bones! Next, the Guild (the opponent of Sigma who is an accomplice of the Dragon Court, but doesn't want to help them too much and be kicked out so helps both teams) gives the three Sigma representatives a riddle that the Dragon Court found. She wanted them to solve the riddle for her. Anyway, they solve the riddle and find out that what they are looking for is the tomb of the fourth Magi, which is under the Vatican in Rome. They are threatened by Seichan (a Guild representative) to give her information. She almost kills the team, so they have to tell her what the riddle leads to. The team then goes to te Vatican to St. Peter's Basilica where the tomb is supposed to be. That is where I stopped.
I think this book was more confusing than Black Order! So many things happened that it is hard to summarize without going into detail. I think that this is not an easy read because the language used in this book is definately upper grade level. The characters in this novel are very intelligent. The good part about James Rollins books is that he adds humor, drama, and action to the books. He also adds a lot of suspense at the sam time. I think his books are great so far.
P.S. James Rollins style of writing makes me not want to put the book down.
Jaxx Ottinger I finished book one the grey Griffians and also book two and I loved them both and I am going to talk about book two the Grey Griffians.
Just when the Grey griffians thought everything was back together it wasn't and they didn't know that yet. It was a week until cristimas and the hole city had cristmas lights and decorations every where. It looked beatiful in the hole city. The Grey Griffans all got invited to go to Max's house for cristmas in Scotland and Max's dad was rich and had king doms in almost every country. His mom was rich also and Max's parents got divorced a couple of months ago. And it wasn't easy for Max at all. Everyone was aloud to go to Scotland. But Max's mother didn't see the invation yet and she probaly won't let Max go the Scotland. She hates her once good husband. And she never lets Max see him at all. Max always gets anoyed with her and whenever he speaks of his father's name his mom starts to get tears in her eyes and yells at Max none stop. But this time it didn't happen like that. They got into a big fight but at the end Max one and he could go to Scotland.
A girl named Jessie Lou had a huge crush on this guy named Conrad Parker Smith. In the Second Grade she would always wait for him to run by and pull him into the bushes and kiss him. She was obsessed.She actually though he didnt mind thinking that she did it every single school day. She used to give up her swing time so Conrad could ride a little bit longer, or she would skip lunchtime so he could have a few extra french fries. Not only Jessie Lou was obsessed with him but every girl in the class. Her friends Elizabeth Parnell, Sarah Jane Peabody and Moon n' Stars Montgomery they used to chase him around the playground. But by the Third and Fourth Greade they became more proper. By the beginning of fifth gradeConrad had a reign over the whole class.all the girl were in love with him including Jessie Lou. The guys though he was the coolest thing since forever. Jessie Lou was more of an outdoors girl, no makeup, no skirts, and never a good hairstyle. Her sister Melindaa was gorgeous. All the guys liked her and Jessie Lou cut her hair and it looked like a "raggety rug". Abou six months ago Conrad started to get a limp and then it got worse and worse and worse.soon enoungh he shwed up at school wearing a metal brace. Slowly but surely his popularity began to dwindle and dwindle.
So far I really like this book and i think it will be very interesting to see if she ends up with Conrad.
Lauren Dwyer Chapter 2 Deep Down Popular : Phoebe Stone
Jessie Lou is starting to feel like she doesnt matter to the world. Her best friend Elizabeth Parnell moved up to the middle table with Sarah Jane Peabody. Typical Elizabeth Parnell. The class had to do a map and when Jessie Lou got to see it she was discusted more than that she absolutely hated it! Shethough that it looked liked people instead of a map! The teacher was looking out at fourth, fifth, and sixth grade rooms like an explorer would, since they were learning about the Lewis and Clark. The teacher called on Jessie and asked her if she could help Conrad out with his books because of his foot. After Jessie Lou said okay it was lunchtime, she went home. She was so scared and nervous since when she looked over at Conrad he had his head down and shming his head no.
James Ranger's Apprentice(book 2) By John flanagan
Well right now im in the begining of this book. Will who was choosen in the last book to be the apprentice of Halt the ranger of Redmont. so anyway Will, Halt, and Halts last apprentice Gilan who became a ranger for another kingdom set out to the kingdom of Celtica to deliever a message to the king. out of no where in the middle of the conversation Will asks if his friend Horace could come along. thats kind of a problem because horace is a warrior and not a ranger it was hind of tough for him to come, but Gilan thought it was a great idea. message was sent out to the castle were the warrior apprentices live and horace got it while he was sleeping so the news wasn't so great until he heard it again he was very happy to go on a adventure.
Well in the begin it misled me to thinking that it would start out with Will doing chores. i was surprised When Gilan came in the middle of the night and had news of adventure i was excited. and when horace got the message that he was going on an adventure and didnt relize what it ment i was laughing.

After Jessie Lou had heard that she would have to help Conrad after school she was very very nervous she didnt even want to say a word to him after she saw his reaction to the teacher saying that. Jessie Lou was finally home(: after she was home her Mama, Grandaddy and Melinie were home too. She was telling her Mama and Grandaddy about the whole Conrad thing, while her mother was making chiken salad. Her Mama and Grandaddy got into a little "play fight" meaning that Grandaddy wanted chicken salad and Mama was like "well, when you gain more weight dont come crying to me telling me that you need a nother button sewed onto your pants or belt loop." Grandaddy and Mama both laugh. Melinie comes down the stairs "Mom did you sign the paper I gave you yet?" Her mother hadnt yet so Melinie sat on the couch. Melinie covered her eyes and said "ohh Jessie Lou your hair look awful I cant even stand to look at you!" Grandaddy comes over and says "now honey, your hair does look horrible but you will always be my little girl wont you?" "Yes Grandaddy." "Mom sign the paper i have to get back to school." Melinie says.
So far I am very interested in the book that iu am reading I think that Phoebe Stone really has a way of coming out to the writer and expressing her emotions threw the book.
Ive read about up to page 200. So far there was a man who forgot everything about his life that woke up in this fishing village, A doctor was taking care of him. HE had been there for six months. The doctor found a chip is his leg that said he was JAson Bourne. JAson accidentally caused truble in the village so he left to Zurich. HE went to a bank to see if he had a bank acount. HE had 6 million francs. HE gave 2 million to the doctor and 4 million to himself in an account in France. There was a man that tried to shoot him on the way out so he grabbed a woman to use as a hostage. The people chased him all arounfd town until JAson Obtaained a car and told the woman to drive it to France.In France he says that the men said that CArlos would pay alot for his head. THe woman was shocked becuase CArlos was the moist dangerous assasin in the owrld.
I think this book has alot of interesting parts mixed in with some uniteresting parts.
Jaxx Ottinger Book three the Fall of the Templar,l Grey Griffians
Logan, Max's bodyguard and also a knight Templar was also in a decteve group called the H.P.O. He was trying to find this kings tomb so he could find the kings diary of important things in it. And Logan was in charge of it. They were walking in the temple and then he found it. He grabbed it but then a skelton came out of the tomb and was fighting Logan because he wanted it back. And their were more men with Logan but then two huge Snow monsters came out and they attacked the other men. The monsters blocked the exit and they were huge and vicous. They could kill anyone except theses guys exept of course Morgan LaFey. She was a witch who lived forever and ruined a lot of things in Max's life like making his father betraye Max by going to the bad side. And Morgan LaFey was also the smartest and strogest person in the world except a suprise attack. So Logan got out of the exit just in time, or they were about to die. So they won victory on that mission.
Okay, here it goes. I left off when the gang was at St. Peter's Basilica. They found a hematite slab there, and on it they saw a map of the Europe, Asia, and Africa region. There was a star on Alexandria, so they knew where to go next, the Pharos at Alexandria. I'll give you a hint, enjoy the story while everyone is together... Anyway, they go and find Alexander the Great's tomb. There is a key in his hand. The weird part is that they connect random crap together to get where they want to go. For example, they were trying to find what lock the key was supposed to go in, and found out it was in Avignon, France! Out of all the places it could be Avignon! Their logic behind this (thre wasn't very much) was that Alexander the Great was somehow connected o all the Wonders of the World (i.e. he died next to the Hanging Gardens, that same day the Temple of Artemis was destroyed, the Colossus of Rhodes' finger was at Alexanders hidden tomb, etc). They connected all of the places where the wonders of the world were located on the map and got an hourglass shape. That symbolized the passage of time, but for some reason, Gray put a strike through the hourglass and got to Rome, but they already went there, so Monsignor Verona extended the line to Avignon.
Monk and Rachel got caught by Raoul and Rachel was interrogated. She lied so they cut Monk's hand off! Then, they threatened to kill her grandma (who betrayed her) so she told them all about Avignon.
Meanwhile, Gray took the side of Seichan (who is on both sides) and the Dragon Court wants the key gray has from the tomb so Seichan brings Gray to a spring and Raoul takes his key. He is then locked with Rachel, but they both escape with Seichan (she is on both sides) in a helicopter holding Monk and Cardinal Spera (a friend of Monsignor Verona and a new Guild operative). While all of this is happening Kat and Monsignor get a head start on the next clue in Avignon.
This book is so confusing! I can't imagine what other ideas must be running through James Rollins' mind. He is a very detailed writer and interesting author. I like the author's style of writing (very original and creative) but at the same time these books entail a lot of historical references which gets kinda boring.
The Bourne Identity didnt really have any intebnse fighting parts until the end so I found this book uninteresting. I don't really remember half of it so im just going to say the end.
Jason goes to the Treadstone building in NYC. He pretendds to be onbe of the movere people there and sneaks upstairs. He finds Carlos, the orlds greatest assasin, and fights him. They keep on fighting for like 15 ages until eventually Jason (who you find out is realy David Webb) runs out of ammo. Carlos is about to kill him when the readstone people come and save JAson. Carlos escaped though so I am thinking that he will be in the next book.
It's not the end of the world Emily Finished Karen's world seems to be crumbling down before her eyes. She is led to believe that marriage only causes heartache and pain, and so she decides that she will never marry. Just before she entered sixth grade, she was overjoyed that she was placed in the class of a teacher that she desperately wanted to have, her hopes were shattered when she discovered that the teacher got married the summer before and has turned into a "witch." Her parents act like they don't love each other anymore. the only ways that they communicate is by arguing and fighting over every possible situation. Eventually, her father moves out of the family's house. when he announces his plans to go to Las Vegas to file for divorce, her mother is very happy. Karen's brother Jeff runs away after he finds out about his dad going to Las Vegas. Their father stays home to find Jeff, so he is unable to go to Las Vegas. Karen tries every possible way to stop the divorce from happening, including sending anniversary cards and pretending to be ill. Karen rates the days in her diary and only rarely does the day get an A+. At the end there is the possibility that things might be getting better even though she does not succeed in getting her parents to remarry, she makes some other friends including a girl who bathes with her. this book was very good it had lots of action which made me Keep reading. the only question i have is were dose she move to?

This book so far is about 4 kids. Rennie,Kate, Sticky, and Constance. This is number 2 of the series and in the first one they go on a mission for mr. Benedict to stop the whisperer and they win.
In this story, Mr Benedict makes a surprise for the mysterious Benedict society's 1 year anniversary. when they reunite and go to Mr. Benedict's house, They figure out that the surprise was that Mr Benedict wasn't there and he made up a totally safe around the world mission and that they will see him at the end of their "mission".But what they also discover, is that Mr benedict was actually captured when he set the clue for the mission by his evil twin brother (which is a cliche). The only way they can find him is if they follow the clues. It will still lead them to a dead end, but it was their only hope. They set off alone and not telling their parents because of their obvious opinion about this mission and follow the clues. It leads to a boat that they stayed on for 4 days. When they got off, they found another clue that led up to them going on a train. On this mission, they get spottrd by their old enemys, jillson and jackson. they get off the train one stop before they are told to get off by the clue so they wouldn't get caught.
When i started typing this blog, i realized that this book is very cliched. My proof is that Mr. Benedict's enemy is his "Evil twin brother". Also, Jackson and Jillson. If you take the "son" out of the names, it makes "Jack" and "Jill". You can see where they got the names from.
Dhruv Patel Diary of a wimpy kid 3 The only reason i'm reading this book is because it's funny and different and i couldn't go to the library to get new books until the day after.
Anyway, this book really has many conflicts that go on in a "Wimpy Kid's" everyday life. One of the main conflicts is that Greg Heffley (The Wimpy Kid)'s dad thinks that he isn't participating in any after school manly classes. He tries sports like soccer and basket ball but it doesn't work out. He tries many things which all of them he sucks at. THen he joins boyscouts. His dad is very impressed. But not enough to not send him to military school. In the end, greg fights with a 3 year old which causes him to climb a tree and his pants fall down right the second his dad is about to do something very embarrising. his dad thinks he did it for him so he doesn't send him to military school.
This book is very pointless but it is something fun to read when your bored. It has lots of pictures and blank spaces and if you compress every thing and take away the pictures, it would probably end up 20 pages long.
The Odyssey talks about Odysseus' life from his birth to the end of the Trojan War. When he was a baby his grandfather named him Odysseus which means he will be a man of much trouble. When Odysseus was a boy he was hunting in the woods (in search for The Boar) and he came across The Boar. The boar injured his leg and before Odysseus fell and was killed he stabbed and killed The Boar. When Odysseus was of age he became King of Ithaca; he was a very wise king. A short time before the Trojan War Odysseus had son with his wife Penelope. Halitherse said, if Odysseus didn't go to Troy right away he would go missing for twenty years. Two men came and tried to brought him to war. He pretended to be insane but they weren't fooled. Another great deed Odysseus preformed, was he brought Achilles (a great worrier) to war, because he was avoiding it. Odysseus was fighting in war against the Trojans. The soldiers picked three people to convince the Trojans to give Helen back and stop the war. The three couldn't. The Greeks hoped for a quick victory but the war took ten years. Greeks raided other cities and they were successful. But they still camped outside the walls of Troy. Two men, Agamemnon and Achilles had many quarrels. Eventually Achilles quit fighting. The Greeks were going to give up but Odysseus convinced every one to continue. Well, almost every one. A man named Thersites hated Odysseus and his ideas. The Greeks punished him for disagreeing with Odysseus. The Greeks continued fighting but without Achilles they were not succeeding. Odysseus and a few others tried to convince Achilles to fight with them but he wouldn't, until his best friend was killed by Trojan leader, Hector. Achilles had to get revenge. He fought the Trojans and killed Hector. Then he did something very ignoble. He took Hectors dead body and dragged in across the city. Later on Paris shot Achilles with a bow and arrow. Before he was killed, Achilles had a grand funeral for Hector, because he was happy for his death. There were Olympic Games. The next day Achilles fought again, and was shot by Paris. Paris was later killed by a Greek, Odysseus was getting frustrated because they were in Troy for a very long time, and they didn't win yet. Odysseus had the greatest carpenter, Epeus, make a huge hollow horse, with a trap door. Then himself,Epeus, and 18 other soldiers hid inside the horse. The rest of the army sailed away to the next island about four miles away. Meanwhile, Sinon was lying to the Trojans. He said he was an offering to the gods, he escaped, the Greeks didn't want the horse in the city, and many other lies. One of Priam's sons thought Sinon was lying so Athena killed him because she wanted Odysseus to succeed. The Trojans fell for it and Oysseus' plan worked perfectly. Epeus opened the trap door, the soldiers let the rest of the army in, they burned the city of Troy, and took Helen home. Troy was a bloodly and destroyed city.
This story was O.K. I thought Zeus was creepy/weird, and it was a little to far fetched. I like Odysseus' character. The men should not have had to go to the war.
Well they are still traveling to Celtica. on the way they are talking about battle situations. When the got to the kingdom it was deserted, no smoke out of the chimneys, no people, no anything. well after they slept for a night in the town. that next morning they were going down a zig-zag path on the way Horace and Gilan practiced their sword fighting.
i feel that it was kind of weird how they just got the town an just slept there were anything bad could happen is kind of stupid.
This is a book by my favortie author, James Rollins. So far Grayson Pierce is wwalking in the D.C. Mall an a profeeser falls in his arms and dies. He gives him a coin which leads to the smithsonian. trhere he meets the professers daughter. They find a skull in a large artifact and then people begin to chase them and they run. They find a little girl who has special powers and she draws a picture of the Taj Mahal so they head there and meet with the proffesers fre\iend. They follow a long path where they end up in some anceint ruins where they get captured by Russians. They discover that aman is trying to destroy half of the worlds leaders by unleashng invisible radioactive waves wt them.They end up speeding up how fast the thing that was going to cover the nuclear plant so that the explosion was conained. The evil Russian got stuck in there but his wife followed him in then died but she gave him a gun to comit suicide with.
That was were I finished. With this book I could barely feel it in my hands. I could picture evedrything very well in my head. I love how James Rollins always blends History, Science, and action toghether to create and amazing story that you cant stop reading.

Neil Menghani Sandstorm James Rollins 1-150 3/26/09
This is the first book of the series. I just found out that I've been reading them backwards. However, it has not affected my thinking. The books are not connected in any way, except for the fact that they have the same characters. Anyway. So far, I read that the British Museum in London had a gallery called the Kensington Gallery. It has all the cool Arabian stuff. One day, when a guard (Harry) is on his shift, he finds a ball of lightning which is rarely witnessed. Unfortunately, there is an explosion immediately after. He dies and the Kensington gallery blows up. Kara Kensington and Safia-al-Maaz are trying to solve a mystery (who exploded the gallery). Kara thinks it's connected to the death of her father in a sandstorm.
Meanwhile, Painter is betrayed by his ally. He is then presented with this case and starts his investigation. When he and Safia are introduced to each other, Ryan Fleming (the main guard) is shot. Then, somebody (possibly Painter) asks Safia for the heart (something Kara and Safia discovered that points towards the hinterlands of Oman.
This book is great. The way James Rollins writes just leaves me awestruck. I just can't beieve somebody can think of such creative ideas. Although this book is really interesting, I still don't think it's better then his other books.
I finished and it was really good. Grayson stopped the people from killing the leaders of the world. He discovers that they are trying to blow a lake up and poison the world with radioative substances. Monk is with several children who give their special powers to the main chilkd Pyotr who then stops the floods. He has to trade bodies with the monkey, MArta the. You find that out in the end though. So basically the world was aved from calamity yet again
I was shocked at several points in this book. James Rollins put alot of action in and I liked that. He also made you nervous about what was going to happen. I really like his style of writing.

After the trojan war was over and the greeks had finally won they left on there boats for home. penelope odysseuses wife was beging hit on by many men which his son could not stop alone. she wated for ten years for him to retearn. by alas zeus made up a big storm in which many greeks died at sea however aganemnone made it home but there his wife and boyfriend killed him and odysseus floated ashore to a island. there he meet a extremly beatiful nymph named calypso. she also loved odysseus much and slept with him every knight for 10 years. eventually he relizes he has to live. calypso understands and gives him supplies to build a raft. he lieaves the next day and ends up on the island of a cyclops. they go to a duel to the death and in the end odysseus blinds the cyclops. the cyclops was friends with posiden. posiden was angery at him so when he left the island posiden caused a tornado that blew odysseuses cloths flew away and he swam in the ocean for two whole days looking for land. eventually he landed on a island were a princess meet him on the beach. she broght him back 2 the palace were he feast with the king. during that time a bling singer sang of the battel of troy. odysseus ran out crying. the king dident bother. then outside the men were throwing discus and they asked odysseus to join and he siad o and the teased him that he wasent strong then he picked up the biggest discus and threw it farther then all the others. the next night during dinner the singer came back and odyssus begain to cry yet again this time the king asked who he was and he spilled his whole story out.
Odysseeus finishes his story to the king. The King is so honored to have entertained Odysseus in his home. He tells he will get his men to drop him off to Ithaca with his gold(which they do). When they are going back Posiden turns them into a rock and roots them to the ground. There Odysseud observes the rude men eatin his food and drinkin his rum, in his home. He is discised as a old bum becuase he is clever and wants to make a plan to attack them. He is walking down the street with a stranger and a man of the suitors yells at him for coming in the palace and begging. He kicks Odysseus, and Odysseus sears to have revenge. He tells his son his true identity, but not his wife because she is way to emotional. He goes in his home still as a begger and another old begger cusses him out and tells him to leave. They get into a fight and Odysseus lays him out with just one punch. Odysseus wife asks the poor begger about his backround and hears here husbands name and starts to tear up. Odysseus's wife tells the maid to clean the beggers feet. She notices the scar and reconizes that it's Odysseus(she takes an oath to keep her mouth shut. Penelope has a compation who ever throw a bow from an arrow for 12 rings, she will marry. Noone can do it, then Odysseus come and makes it and takes off the rags and Tells the Suitors that they will pay for Treating his and family very badly. They all beg for mercy. His son and him and two other men kill all the suitors. They make the maids clean up the mess and then exicute 12 of them. Then his he calls his father and his father calls dolius and his sons to fight the brother of the Suitors. Penelope yells and tells everyone to stop fighting and they have a troofs and everything is calm.
Into The Wild Caleb Chapman 1-75 This book is about an author who follows the footsteps of Chris McCandless. Chris McCandless after graduating from college went off to the world to search for truth. (Kinda like buddah) Chris died in a bus beacause he ate a poisonous seed that he thought was rice.(He's a college graduate and he ate poisonous seeds. He even had a book to tell him if it was okay to eat. Stupid.) Then some hunters found his decomposed body in a sleeping bag. Chris was gone from home about 3 years before he died.
So far this is an O.K book. It's well written and has an interesting storyline. Chris McCandless is an idiot though and should have at least told someone where he was going before he left.

Well Will, Horace, and Gilan found these thieves who were going house to house when the houses were abandoned. the names of these two guys were Carney and Bart. they got a tip from a friend that people left their houses because Morgrath this evil guy or thing i haven't really ran into him yet but he is having a war against all the kingdoms like ten years ago. anyway they caught these guy's and tied them up. late that day they found this little girl who was visiting her friend. she told them that she had been there for two weeks without any food except for things she found on the ground to eat. she also told them that she still thought that the invaders were still there so she didn't go in the houses.
i felt this part of the book i read was kind of boring because they found thieves caught them and told why they were they and found a little girl that was there for two weeks without trying to find help.
Blubber Emily Finished This book was about a girl named Jill who is controlled by a girl named Wendy. When Wendy picks on a girl named Linda,Jill starts to pick on her also. When Jill goes to a bar mitzvah she sees linda and startes calling linda blubber. Then when Jill stud up to Wendy she starts picking on Jill.
This book was very good because it had great dialog and was on going with conflicts so i did not won't to put the book down. I liked every part of this book.
This book is about a girl and her friend. Her friend is Jewish, but she isn't. So when her friends' parents go into hiding, her friend stays with her and pretends to be her sister when the Nazis come. Then, the girl's mother takes her and her friend to their Uncle Henricks' house in the country. They help her friend and her family, and some other Jews escape to Sweden, which is just a couple miles away from where her uncle lives. The girl misses her friend and says that one day she'll go to Sweden to visit.
I loved this book. I thought that the author really showed how scared the two girls were when the Nazis arrived. i liked how I could see into the girls' minds.
Jordana Inkheart Chapter 11-19 (The Chapters were wrong on my previous Inkheart blog.)
When Meggie, Mo, and Elinor met with Capricorn, he had all of the Inkheart books in existence. THen he burned all of the copies. Dustfinger was so sad because he could never get back to his real world. Mo was also sad because he could never read out his wife. She was gone. Dustfinger was so helpless that he put his hand in the fire in order to save a book. Then Capricorn had Mo read him books with treasure. Mo read tuns of gold from Treasure Island and many other books.
This is a very good book. I (kind-of) like Elinor's character because she is different. She loves books even sometimes more than humans. She always thinks of things in a clever way. One of her negative qualities is that she tends to curse alot when she is angry.
Lauren Dwyer Chapter 1-3 A series of unfortunate events *a bad beginning* Lemony Snicket
The Bad Beginning starts off with a very bad beginning. The Baudelaire children, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, are enjoying a cloudy day at their favorite beach. They prefer cloudy days, since no one else comes to Briny Beach then and the children are free to do as they please. Violet Baudelaire, the oldest of the siblings, is fourteen years old. She is an inventor and a very bright child. Whenever she is thinking about inventing something, she ties her hair up with a ribbon, to keep it from getting in her eyes and distracting her. She is busy skipping rocks right-handed and thinking of a machine that will allow the rock to return. Klaus Baudelaire is twelve years old and extremely intelligent. He loves to read books and study things.Mr. Poe takes the children to their ruined mansion, and they find that everything they owned has been destroyed. The children are then taken to Mr. Poe's home and introduced to his two children, Edgar and Albert. Mr. Poe's children do not like the Baudelaires and resent having to share their room.
For the first few days, the horrible events begin to sink in for the Baudelaires. They become more aware of their surroundings and realize that they do not like the Poe household at all. Mrs. Poe has provided them with itchy clothing. The house smells funny, and Edgar and Albert are extremely obnoxious. The food isn't much better and seems to consist of three boiled or blanched dishes with nearly every meal. The Baudelaires' life with Count Olaf gets off to a bad start. The three children are forced to live in one room, with only one bed, and there is no crib for Sunny. Violet and Klaus take turns sleeping in the bed, and Sunny is forced to sleep on a lump of dirty curtains. The children rarely see Olaf, who seems to prefer leaving them with a pan of oatmeal in the morning and a long list of chores. He spends his time either away from the house or up in his tower, which they are forbidden to enter.
One day, however, Count Olaf leaves the children a note that he expects them to cook dinner for his entire theater troupe, which will be visiting that evening. Since the Baudelaire children do not know
So far I think that this book is very interesting and i cant wait to see wht happenes to the family.
Alec Arena Antsy Dose Time (first April blog !!!!!!!)
at first i thought antsy was going to jail. but actually he has to community sercive that turned somthing big. it all started when antsy and his friends cut loose a giant racoon ballon at the street fair. the cops catch them doing it and cant arrest them because there kids. so they have to do community service. antsy has to give hours to a kid named Gunner Umlate. apearently gunner has a disease and he needs help with like school work and other impotent things in life. but the bad thing is eventully at a random gunner is going to die from his illness. but after a wile the word speards about gunner and antsy has like a bussiness. every one wants to donate hours to gunner
1) Tom the Ant- Protagonist. Is prince to the Ant kingdom and was sent out to fight against bees but got lost. Ant hill is in Backyard. 2) Chuck the Ant- Tom’s friend. Helps Tom get back home before his evil brother marries Tom’s Girlfriend and take control of kingdom. 3) Flizo- Antagonist. Tom’s evil brother who is trying to win the love of Tom’s Girlfriend and take control of the Kingdom.
Events (In order of which they happen):
1) Wasp- Tries to kill him and his Chuck, but they trap it by tricking it to go into a hole in a tree and then sealing tree with rock. 2) Evil Brother sends out soldiers to kill them- Tom and Chuck kill them by making rocks fall on them. 3) Bird is nice enough to take them home- Bird gets attacked by hawk and Tom and Chuck fall into puddle. 4) Snake- They are able to make it be scared by biting nearby sleeping cat on the nose. 5) Returning- They return but Flizo has convinced everyone that he is dead so everyone is trying to date Tom’s Girlfriend. They all try to kill him when he claims that he is what he is because they like his Girlfriend a lot. He is able to get to the Queen (His mom). No One do anything to this this is fr Mr. J

This book starts with a boy and his friend heading up a trin to find his brother ythey finds him and sneak off the train. They then find a town and find this lantern in it whic will help them (Since thwy re underground). Trhey then look in this cavve where there are thes4e plants that make one of the characters look dead. They have to leave even though they are sad.
They see a group of limiters (BAD PEOPLE) and hide. One of them is about to open a pack of gum. When these two poeple capture them and yhen bring them to their hideout. They explain their story. The people then say that their friend may be alive and they go rescue them.
They stay in the hideout for a month until they decide to head out. The Main character gets llost for several days but eventually finds his way back. The leader of the two people that found them heads out on a mission with Cal and the other person and he gets captured.
I think this book is okay. It is very detialed in all parts and is usually pretty actiony. I would recommend this book to anyone that read the prequel.
Emily just as long as we are together Chapter7 this book is about a girl ,named Stephanie, whose friends are Alison and Rachel.when they go to school they are separated For classes Rachel thinks that it is unfair for Stephanie and Alison to have the same classes together and she be all by her self. so far this book is interesting it has a good plot
Into the wild Caleb 1-125 This book isn't in order. Chris has been a drifter for about ten years in the U.S. He decided to leave and go to mexico. The border patrol agents would not let him in. So he snuck in swimming down the colorado river with a canoe. He followed the river to the end untill he got to swamps. He got very mad and broke his paddle. He found some hunters who drove him out of the swamp and dropped him off back in the river. He finnaly reached the ocean. Then he swam back to land, ditching his canoe. He then met a old man named Ronald Franz.(This is not his real name. It said in the book he didn't want his real name used.) He survived world war 2 but when he got home he found out his wife and only child died.
Chris has no main goal except to get to alaska and live. He does stupid thing but finds ways to get out of them with his knowledge. It's not a shock to me that he died because of a stupid thing like eating a poisonous seed when he had a @#$% book right next to him. It's an okay book though. Some of the things he does are interesting.
The Odyssey is about the troubles that Odysseus faces on his journey home and at the Trojan War. In the first part, he is born, and named Odysseus because it means "a man of much trouble". the first trouble Odysseus faces is when a wild boar injures him, and to save himself, he kills the boar. The son of King Priam of Troy, Paris, steals Helen from Menelaus, and everyone has to leave Ithaca to fight the Trojan War. Odysseus is the one that makes Achilles, the strongest warrior, fight in the war. Anyway, the Greeks won the Trojan War. This was because Odysseus told the best warriors to hide in a hollow, wooden, horse. The Trojans took the horse in their city, and slept. Everything was happily ever after, not. The Greeks hiding in the horse opened the gates for the other Greeks to come in. Then, the Greeks won because of the element of surprise. Anyway, after Odysseus fights in the Trojan War, him and most of the men fight the Ciconians. They win, and steal their food, but then the Ciconians come back with allies. The Greeks lose a lot of men, but Odysseus survives. Then they go to the island of the lotus-eaters. Three of the men eat the lotus plant and want to stay forever, but the Greeks force them to keep going. After this, the Greeks come to an island near the Italian Peninsula. At this island, there is a cyclops who eats some of them. Odysseus finally tricks him. He says "I'm Nobody." Then he pokes the Cyclop's eye out. The cyclops says nobody is trying to kill him, and nobody comes to save him. Then the Greeks escape under lambs and Odysseus taunts the cyclops. This makes Posiedon (the cyclop's father) his enemy. Anyway, Odysseus then goes through the Laestrygonians. When the Greeks get to an island, they split up. One group goes through a woods, and one waits. The group that goes through the woods meets a goddess name Circe who turns them into pigs. Finally Odysseus goes alone and makes Circe turn his men back into men. She listens and tells him to go to the underworld to talk to a prophet and find out where to go. He goes to the underworld and finds the prophet. After this adventure, Odysseus goes and gets a bag of winds which helps the Greeks get back to Ithaca, but when they open the bag looking for treasure, they are blown all the way to the Sirens. There, Odysseus tells his men to tie him up and plug their ears. He then listens to what the Sirens say and wants to go to them, but the men hold him back. Finally, he fights two monsters, goes to the island of Calypso (a sea nymph) for a few years, and goes to the island of the Phaecians. The king of the Phaecians helps him get back to Ithaca upon hearing his story. However, when he returns to Ithaca, he learns that mean people called Suitors are stealing his money and harassing his wife. He then fights a war against them with his son Telemachus. He defeats all 108 Suitors. Then, his wife sits with Odysseus. She is so shocked he is back, she wants to make sure it's really him. She asks him to move the bed, but he says it's a tree so he can't move it. Penelope (Odysseus's wife) then knows for sure he is her husband. Finally, Odysseus and a bunch of other men (including his dad) fight the kinsmen of the Suitors, but are stopped by Athena (a goddess who helps Odysseus the most throughout the story). In the end, Odysseus lives happily ever after. I thought this story was fantastic! I can't imagine what ideas were running through Homer's head. His story was so great, many literature novels are based on it!
Painter and his new partner Coral Novak are trying to find antimatter, which they think might be in the iron heart. They team up with Kara, Safia, Omaha, and Danny, and go to Oman. There, Safia is attacked by a snake (after the incident, a butler comes and notices the snake has no fangs;implying it's not a real snake). Anyway, noobody is hurt, and they have to go to Salalah. However, their enemy, Painter's old partner, who betrayed him, puts mines in the boat they're taking. The people in the boat hear random gunfire, and Painter realizes that his old partner must have planted mines. Then, he kills one of his partners henchmen, and finds a belt on him. He realizes that if all of her henchmen die, she will set the mines off. Then, he kills all of the henchmen, and tells all of his partners to put the belts on. However, the mines are already set off, and Painter and his partners have to make a narrow escape. THen, they steal a car in order to get to Salalah. However, their is one thing in their way. Safia.
Safia is kidnapped by Cassandra (Painter's old partner) along with the iron heart. They go to Salalah and go to Nabi Imran's tomb (Virgin Mary's father). Then, they find out that if you drop the iron heart, it'll land resting like a normal heart. Meanwhile, Omaha almost kills Painter for saying not to save Safia. Painter says this because he knows Cassandra will just kill all ofthem. He also wants to keep the fact that they are alive a secret.
I lke this book. I still think it isn't as good as James Rollins's other books. I think he could put a little more suspense. Hwever, I still like the action and drama he puts in his books.

Then she finds out that he is living in her old house and sleeps in her old room by the exterminator that comes to fix there mice problem.Then she calles her best freinds Rachel and Alison. then they came right over her house to talk.the next day in the assambly, there teacher said there was going to have a 7th grade bake sale so Alison and Steph went to Alisons grandmother house to make brownies. At the bake sale the brownies were the bests sellers. this book has great deatail. it realy conects with me in so many ways
Just as long as we're together Emily 21-end In this book is about a girl ,named stephine,who finds out that her parnets are geting a seperation.she gets very mad. the next week was her birthday and the school dance so Alison Rachel and Stepine go shoping for cloths.at the store Rachel and stepnine got in a fight at the dance Peter and Stepnine danced.the next day Rachel and stephine made up this book was very good i am glad there is a second book!!!
In this section, Mo reads another story out loud to Capricorn and his men. This time instead of gold, Mo reads out a boy named Farid. At first Farid doesn't believe that he is actually in the real world, it is just a dream. But later on he realizes he will never make it back to his home in the story book. Mo refuses to read out loud for Capricorn again. So, he tells Mo he will not have to read until tomorrow. In the middle of the night Dustfinger gets Elinor's keys, from Basta, and frees Meggie, Mo, Elinor, and Farid. They all escape in Elinor's car. One they got about half way up the mountain towards the village, Elinors tire pops and they have to walk home. Basta and Flatnose are following them, trying to take them to Capricorn. Fortunatly they loose track of them. But later Basta and Flatnose found them very early in the morning, but Dustfinger and Mo tied them up. And they all got away safely although one of the dogs bit Mo and he had a wound on his arm. They found the village and Elinor bought them all wonderful things, including hotel rooms. Elinor got Mo Fenoglio's, the writer of Inkheart, address so Mo might be able to read Meggie's mother out of the book. The author didn't have a copy of the book. He wanted to here Mo's story and meet Dustfinger. Meggie learned that Dustfinger dies at the end of the novel.
I think this book is very good. I am only half way done the book and they have already escaped from Capricorn. I wonder what the author will talk about in the next half.
Alexandra The Meanest Doll in the World read 2 chapters
Annabelle and her friend Tiffany climbed into Nora's backpack because if they hadn't a human would have seen them. They were taken to school, where at the end of the day, they climbed (accidentally) into another child's backpack because they had thought it was Noras'. They were taken to another home with other dolls. Some of the dolls were nice, like Waterfall and the Troll Twins, and others weren't, like Princess (mean) Mimi and Techno-Man. The Sandra Doll was also helping Mimi, but she didn't want to (she only helped her because she was afraid of Mimi). So Waterfall, the Troll Twins, Annabelle, Tiffany, and the other dolls (i dont remember their names) teamed up to stop Mean Mimi. They built barracades and set traps. Then, Mimi got Sandra doll to build a race track and they sent cars at the other dolls. After the fight, the dolls cleaned everything up. Then, Techno-Man came in and (after a battle) Annabelle revealed that he wasn't an action figure, but a doll dressed up in "techno" clothes. He was embarrassed and he didn't help Mean Mimi anymore. The Sandra Doll went to play with Baby Billy (another doll that I remembered) and didn't help Mimi either. Then Mean Mimi goes away and hides somewhere. After the weekend, Annabelle and Tiffany go back to school in the child's backpack, and climb into Nora's. Then the go home and meet their family. The Funcrafts and Annabelle's family were so worried. Then from out of the backpack comes Mean Mimi. She starts crying, then runs out of Nora's room, and the dolls are worried that Mimi may get the humans Suspicious about doll kind.
I think that this book is good so far. I like how Tiffany stands up for herself, and doesn't back down. She always talks back to Mimi, and isn't afraid.
The Meanest Doll in the World 2 chapters Alexandra
The Dolls and Funcrafts have a meeting about what to do with Mimi. They decide to trap her, but when they try to trap her in the Barbie Minivan, Nora's cat, The Captain, wrecks everything. Then they have another meeting, and Annabelle suggests that they do nothing at all, because if Mimi causes mischeif, then she will get into trouble, and the Dolls and Funcrafts won't. (they agree not to go eith this plan, but turns out that he plan works later on). Mimi meets Annabelle alone in the Barbie Minivan and tells her that her aunt and Tiffany were planning an Expedition and they weren't going to invite Annabelle because she always made it less fun. This makes Annabelle mad and she yells at Tiffany and tells her that she isn't her best friend anymore.
I hate how Mimi is being so mean to everyone. She even broke the great friendship Annabelle and Tiffany had together. I hope Mimi goes into PDS (permanent doll state).
In this section, Fenoglio meets Dustfinger. Dustfinger threatens to kill him and he ran away with Farid, and Gwin. He said he will teach Farid to "play with fire" and then they will go back to Capricorn. In the next chapter, Elinor returned to her home. When she goes into her library there are no books on the book shelf. There was a dead roster, Capricorn's symbol, hanging from the roof. There was also a black arrow pointing towards the garden. Elinor walked outside and all of her books were ashes. Elinor weeped. The next day she called Mo and told him what happened. Fenoglio was curious and asked Mo what happened, he told then. Elinor was coming to report Capricorn to the police, and Maggie was going to stay with Fenoglio. When she was chasing Mo Rico, Pippo, and Paula stopped her because they wanted to play. She also found a very skinny gray kitten. She went back to her house, (the one they rented) and she fed the skinny kitten. Pippo wanted her to play, when she opened the door Basta was there. He knew they were in the village because of Dustfinger, not because he told them but because he asked people around town about a fire eater. Basta and Flatnose went to Fenoglio's house looking for Inkheart. THey thought the author of Inkheart was dead, and Fenoglio he had a copy. Thy were going to take Meggie and Fenoglio to Capricorn. Mo didn't return with Elinor.
This book is very good. I would have never guessed that Basta and Flatnose would come back. I felt bad for Elinor because those books were very important to her.
Into The Wild 1-180 Caleb Chris hasn't been doing much new stuff. He's just visiting old friends that he met a while ago. He is working for Westerburg hoping to get enough money to buy a new rifle. He only has a .22 and that won't be enough for Alaska. One of the workers at the granary. He tought Chris how to hunt and clean game. Chris was starving because his .22 rifle couldn't kill any big game. The worker was talking about bird and rabit, small game.
Chris is still doing stupid things but then uses his smarts to get him out of those situations. IF he came back he could have done the world some use and maybe invented some items that helped the world. But he wanted to go rot to death in the alaskan wilderness with nothing to his name. Good choice Chris.
Now it's just going to all of Chris's relatives and talking to them about how they fell about Chris's death. His sister feels horrible and can't get through one day withought crying. She flipped out and went hysterical when she heard about Chris's death. Her husband drove her to her parents, a four hour drive. When chris died all he had was a .22 rifle, a boy scout handbook for the plants also where his journal was written, and a camera. The author describes how he was like Chris because he didn't like male authority from his father. He wanted to go to alaska and canada to climb mountains and explore the wilderness.
That is pretty much all that is happening. The book is pretty good so far and I'm almost done. (I also have my own name at the top. Go look at my name. It doesn't say ellison studant it says caleb.) (Hah)
Well Gilan Halts last apprentice told Will and Horace to take the little girl Evanlyn Back to the castle in Redmount. On the way Horace and Evanlyn got tiered of riding on the horse so the were conplaining about this spot they saw and said they should stop there because it was the only spot with branches of the trees with cover. so will gave in and let them camp there. when it came to dinner Evanlyn said she wanted a fire, but they couldn't because these half dog half bear things called Wargal could smell anything from a mile away. Agin will gaave in and made a small fire. then they heard screeches and it was two wargals coming. so they went under Will's camoflashed cape.
the beginning of what i read was boring, but evenchuly it got better right around when Horace and Evalyn started to complain. When the Wargals came it kind of surprised me. other wise what i read was good.

So far I am up to about page 200. It is about a girl who is pretending that shje is a boy so that she can become one of the twelve dragons apprentice. She goes to become the Rat dragon's apprentice, but her friend Dillon becomes it instead. After the ceremony that Dragon Dragon (I Know it is sort of confusing) appears and wants her (Or him) to become his apprentice this i a big deal becuase that dragon had not been seen in over 500 years. She becomes the Dragon's apprentice, but the dragon is still missing becuase it won't reveal itself. She does not know the dragon's name so she goes to the library to look for books about it. She discoveres that Lord Ido, who was becoming the rat dragon soon, took the book. She gets her friend Dillon to help her sneak into Ido's library. I stopped where they found it.
I think that in certain parts of the Story there is a lack of action but in others it is excting.

The witch only feeds her twice a day breakfast and dinner. every week day she sneaks out of the tower to go to princess school with out the witch knowing one day the witch found out. the witch tried to make it impossible to get out of the tower but Rapunzel's freinds helped her get out of the tower.
I thaught that this book had many details. the book kept me wonting to read the hole way threw.

This book Is about four geniuses.reynie, Kate, sticky, and constance.they are all orphans. They enter a contest and they are the winners. They get sent on a mission because this school is believed to sent depressing brodcasts to people watching tv. When they go to the institute, they find out that the smart people become messengers and they have to become messengers to improve their grades. When they finally become messengers, they realize why the kids like the machine so much so Kate goesnto spy on the executives of the instutute. She finds out that they are brocasting with full power on their minds . This means that they would then be able to hear the word in their minds sort of like a mind control! The next day they come up with a plan to give everyone a stomach virus so they can be the only messengers that can go in the machine. When they do, Kate and constance would break in. They did it good and when they all went in, constance made the machine so confused it broke . Then mr. Benedict took control of the machine and shut it down. After they got back to the house of mr. Benedict, sticky's parents found him, miss perumaul adopted him, mr benedict adopted constance, and milligan turned out to be Kate's missing dad.
I liked this book a lot. Also It is 18 AR points. The next book is 19. The author did a good job with this book because he did a good job keeping it realistic.(i also posted this last month blog so i deleted it.)

This book is about a girl named Meggie who loves reading and books. One day she reading before going to bed and was lighting candles at her bed room window. Meggie said she loved lighting candles even though Mo, her father, didn't want her to. So when she was lighting the candle she saw a figure standing in the rain. She went to get Mo. When he came to look, he told Meggie it was his friend. Mo told Meggie to go back to bed and he went to talk to the man. Meggie snuck out of bed and listened to their conversation. Meggie couldn't hear much but she did hear somethings. 1. The man's name was Dustfinger. 2. Something bad was going to happen. Then Mo and Dustfinger's conversation was done. Meggie had to run back to her room. Mo knew she was listening. The next morning Mo woke Meggie up at 5 A.M. and he told her they were moving to Meggie's Aunt Elinor's house, so Mo, the book doctor, could mend her books. Meggie packed a lot of books and when she went to see if Mo had any knew books for her. When she opened the door Mo hid a book from her, He did have books for her to read. On their way there they saw Dustfinger on the side of the road. Mo went and told him to come with Meggie and himself. Meggie ran out of the car and wouldn't come back in until she knew what was going on. Dustfinger told her a man named Capricorn was trying to get a book from Mo and he might kill him if he doesn't get it. She went back into the car. Dustfinger showed her his pet martin, named Gwin. They arrived at a big unwelcoming gate and entered. Elinor was very kind. She had thousands of books. Meggie was very upset that she was not allowed to touch the books. One night Meggie went outside and saw Dustfinger juggling. It was amazing. Dustfinger invited Meggie to watch him do more tricks at night. So Meggie asked Elinor to turn of the alarm. Meggie met Dustfinger outside at 11 o'clock sharp. When they were outside Mo was in the library fixing books. Capricorn's henchmen captured Mo and took the secret boo (or at least they thought they did!) Meggie was really upset. Later Elinor tells her the book the henchmen wanted was called Inkheart and Elinor was reading it when the men came in. Dustfinger left with the henchmen. He was the one who set up Mo, and he specifically told Mo Capricorn was in the north when they were in the south. Elinor let Meggie read Inkheart. Then in a few days Dustfinger came back. And he pretended to help Meggie find her father.
This book is very good. I love the idea so far. I think Dustfinger is having a hard time hurting Meggie (not Mo) because when she was crying when Mo was taken away he wanted to comfort her. This is a very good book.

Finished (It was really long 423 pages and the pages were long too. I'm glad I'm done it!)
Even though I've read a lot, I'm going to just "summarize" it.
In the section I read, Painter and Lisa (two characters) go to Granite Castle and meet two former Nazis. Okay, I'm going to warn you. This is very confusing. Anna and Painter were both somehow struck by a "Bell" which is the key to quantum evolution. They are going to die if they don't find a workable Bell with Xerum 525 (you’re lucky I'm telling you in English and not in German!). The second former Nazi is part of the Sonnekonige (people born under the Bell who are immune to healing but die more slowly???). What is happening to people struck by the Bell is that they are slowly turning back into the small amino acids they came from. The Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) was a project that the old Nazis performed in which they discovered quantum evolution, but all of the scientists who were researching were killed! The last person to know the secret was Tola who I told you in the beginning of the book committed suicide when captured by Nazis (but I thought she was part of the Nazis). Anyway, Painter is going to die and Lisa and Gunther are trying to keep them alive. Let me tell you the other part of the story.
Grayson Pierce who knows nothing about the Sonnekonige recruits a friend named Monk who has personal problems which will come up later. Anyway, Gray and Fiona go to an auction where one of Fiona's possessions is being "auctioned off" (it's really in her purse). The people who really want it are the Waalenbergs. Okay here it goes. Gray, Fiona, and Monk go to the address where Fiona's adopted mother got the auction item (Darwin's Bible; don't ask). The address had a guy who was family with two important people, Hugo Hirszfield and Hienrich Himmler (confusing). Hugo was mad the perfect Sonnekonige and his secret was lost with Tola, Hugo's daughter and the guy's aunt (it doesn't say his name). The guy tells him about a huge library that used to be at the address. The Darwin Bible used to be there; it was one of the five books sent to the home by Hugo Hirszfield. Okay, the nameless guy's son was Ryan and he claimed to know more. He took Gray and Fiona and Mon to the Wewelsburg Castle, a museum which used to belong to Hienrich Himmler I think. Ryan told them that Heinrich and Hugo were in a society called the Thule Society and another society in it called Black Order. This society coordinated the Black Sun project. The museum director told them about a set of runes and that a symbol was the symbol of a superhuman (the Sonnekonige) and upside down, it resembled death. If you’re reading this, I just want you to know that you aren't the only one suffering. I'm suffering writing it. Anyway, the Waalenberg twins who know a lot and are the enemies of the Sigma Force (a society Gray and Painter are in). They capture Gray and Fiona and Monk at the Wewelsburg Museum. They then take them to South Africa where they live, and another story starts.
Khamisi Taylor (don't ask) went into the jungle with Marcia Fairfield and they faced a legendary Ukufa. A humanly transplanted hyena (whatever that means). Dr. Fairfield is "killed" (brought back to the Waalenbergs to be questioned) and Khamisi goes home. He is almost poisoned by a dart gun but Mosi (a guy on the Elders of the Zulu in South Africa in Hluhluwhe, Zululand Preserve. Yeah, that is the real name.) saves him. Then there is a whole different story with Painter and Lisa. They are still in Granite Castle and there is a saboteur who made the Bell kill faster. They find out it's one of the Sonnekonige and there is also another one who almost kills Lisa, but Painter shoots her, and they find out when she dies after Painter shooting her with a pistol, there is a bomb planted into her that counts down from 2:00 minutes after her heart stops. They just get to a helicopter and escape the really powerful bomb and run right into more helicopters. They just escape that when landing in base camp in the Himalayas. Then they fly to South Africa when they think a functional Bell might be at the Waalenberg estate.
Monk and Gray find themselves in cells and then are taken out to this place. Monk finds he doesn’t have his prosthetic hand. Then Ryan is dropped into a pit where one of the hyenas is. Gray and Monk are forced to tell secrets they don’t know so they bomb the place (unfortunately nobody dies). Then they run out onto a canopy (it’s a jungle) and split up. Gray goes through this thing where he fights the female twin of the two Waalenberg Sonnekonige. He finds Fiona and frees her. Then they go in the house in disguise. They gag a guard who thinks they are on his side! Then they find Marcia Fairfield who they don’t know. Fiona stays here while Gray and Marcia go and find the Bell.
Monk finds Ryan being saved by Khamisi (this is confusing; I think it’s the longest blog in the history of blogs). Anyway, Monk, Ryan, and Khamisi go and find everybody. I’ll try to name them all. It was Gunther, Anna, Painter, Lisa, Major Brooks, Mosi, Dr. Paula Kane (Marcia’s friend and business partner), Major Kellogg (I have no idea at all whatsoever so don’t even ask), Tau, and Njongo (both Khamisi’s friends. They all went inside in a mob except the Africans (Mosi, Tau, Njongo, Paula, and Khamisi). They went to the Bell. Then the Africans attacked the building. The other people got to the Bell downstairs.
While that was happening, Gray and Marcia encountered Baldric, Isaak, and Ischke (the funniest thing about this blog, and this is not a joke, is that I missed a lot of important details and on top of that I’m not even done. Anyway, they killed Isaak and Ischke (the Sonnekonige twins) and threatened Baldric who was still trying to solve some of Hugo’s runes. Then he activated the Bell to full power and it was going to kill anybody in its path. Everybody including Fiona charged in and they worked together to find a solution. Good news and bad news is that Anna and Baldric were killed. Anna’s last words were that she wasn’t a former Nazi. Gunther left in mourn and walked away. Next they healed Painter. They realized that a computer was your brain and if you willed the Bell to heal, it would heal. Then they all went to Washington D.C! (out of the blue)
Monk found out his pregnant girlfriend and Sigma Force second commander were both shot and Kat (Monk’s girlfriend) is saved with the baby. Logan (the Sigma guy) is dead and everybody goes to celebrate his death (just kidding. Anyway, everything in Africa was destroyed by Baldric’s wrist bomb, the same as the saboteur lady. I don’t want to go into Gray’s personal life.
I think this book was ummmm interesting. James Rollins is a confusing author. This is the first book that really threw me off. I expected it to be like a fantasy fiction but it was actually all based on true facts. I know it was confusing for you to read it, but imagine how it feels for me! Well, I hope you enjoyed my “fun” blog! I truly deserve a break from James Rollins Books… Wait till you read my next post… Till then keep thinking what ‘s gonna happen next….

WHere i lerft od\ff they had just left from stealing thwe book from Ido. Eon lookde and she could not read it and was mad becuase she had to go prove hersself by stopping the king monsoon.THe next day they leave and go to the village where the King Monsoon would appear. Eon is forced to share the honorary building with lord Ido. Her friends gaurd everywhere so she wont get hurt. The next day comes and Eon isnt able to summon her dragon. She tries to take the power from Lord Ido's dragon but that llows him to control her and he tells everyone what to do to stop the monsooon. Afterwards Ido finds Eon and he blackmails her by telling her that he will tell everone that she is a girl if she acts out of place. Eon meets LAdy Dela who ends up being able to read the dragn compass. It reveals that the Dragon Dragon is a Girl!!
I reall yliked this book. I was surprised hwne i discovered the dragon dragon was a girl.

this books starts in a middle sschool class room with a boy named antsy (short for antoney) does a science experiment with his friend calvin schwa. but they just call him the shwa beacause he clams to be invisible which he really isent people just dont seem to notice him. one day antsy gets a job as a dog wathcher for the man who owns the apartment buliding antsy lives in. but antsy dident know that he had 11 dogs all named after bad things like the seven deadley sins and 4 other bad names. later in the story antsys dad gave him a chalinging task to break this unbreakeble dummy. so that bacomes a regular hobby for him and his friends. eventually antsy gets a girl friend that the schwa thought was his girl friend. so one day they went into the subway and when the train came by BOOM!!!!! they threw manny (which is what they named the umbreakeble dummy) into the train tracks and sure enough the tran took his head off and cruched his body into thousands of little pices while antsy friends rejoiced antsy and lesley (girl friend) are talking and he kisses him. antsy was ok with it but the schwa went into awstruck. he rushed out the subway and ran back home. antsy went to check on him later and he completely opened up to him and told im a dreadful story that when he was little he was in a shopping cart at a grocerie store in the frozen food section. his mom left beacause she forgot to pick up somthing in a different isle and never came back. but no one could see the shcwa as a screming crying baby. but eventually he was found. antsy went to investigate at the same store at 10:00 P.M the only person there was a big meaty buchare antsy went up and asked if he knew any thing about the screaming baby. so antsy got the shcwa and brought him to the buchare. the buchare told them the story that his mother ended up talking to a buchare up front they talked and talked like there was no tomarrow and figuered out they had intrested in common. so they ran out the store to travle the globe. nether antsy nor the schwa moved. after a couple weeks pasted and antsy hadent heard from the schwa. soon he got a letter from the schwa but the stamp was from key west where he was with mother whom he tracked down. so in the end all was well for the schwa

Chapter 14 - 18
Meggie, Elinor, and Dustfinger were on there way to rescue Mo. A man named Basta stopped them; Dustfinger talked to him, and the three were let in to see Capricorn. Capricorn was very nasty, and he was mad Dustfinger brought Elinor. After Capricorn insulted them Basta the two of them up. Elinor was cursing alot. Then Meggie saw Mo. They were very happy to be reunited although Mo was upset that Meggie went with Dustfinger. While they were locked up Mo told Elinor and Meggie what really happened to his wife, Dustfinger, Capricorn, Basta, and one other guy. When Meggie was three years old, Mo read stories to her mother. Inkheart was her favorite story. One day when they were reading, there was a scary part and Meggie's mother told Mo to read softer, the next thing they knew the mother was gone and four men appeared, Capricorn, Dustfinger, Basta, and one other man. They all wanted to get back into the book, Mo wanted his wife back. Then after the story was over Meggie went to sleep. The next morning the three went to talk to Capricorn again.
This book is very good. I loved the story Mo told, and I thought it was very sad. I lope at the end of the series (or book) the mother comes back.

At the beginning of this story, two people go to a service in Cologne, Germany (Mandy and Jason). When everybody who follows the religion (not Jason) goes to take Communion (they eat wafers or something) they get electricuted by the m-state of gold in the wafers. This is because the Dragon Court (people who are after something) put the "gold" (which has other platinum elements in it) to kill everybody. Then, they steal the bones of the Magi (the three kings from the Bible). This brings Sigma Force (Gray, Monk, and Kat), Rachel (a Carabineri officer from Italy), and Monsignor Verona (a priest) to come and solve the mystery of the bones. They find out that the bones aren't really bones, but the m-state platinum elements itself. Then they find out that by "Bones of the Magi", it means the Magi really made the bones! Next, the Guild (the opponent of Sigma who is an accomplice of the Dragon Court, but doesn't want to help them too much and be kicked out so helps both teams) gives the three Sigma representatives a riddle that the Dragon Court found. She wanted them to solve the riddle for her. Anyway, they solve the riddle and find out that what they are looking for is the tomb of the fourth Magi, which is under the Vatican in Rome. They are threatened by Seichan (a Guild representative) to give her information. She almost kills the team, so they have to tell her what the riddle leads to. The team then goes to te Vatican to St. Peter's Basilica where the tomb is supposed to be. That is where I stopped.
I think this book was more confusing than Black Order! So many things happened that it is hard to summarize without going into detail. I think that this is not an easy read because the language used in this book is definately upper grade level. The characters in this novel are very intelligent. The good part about James Rollins books is that he adds humor, drama, and action to the books. He also adds a lot of suspense at the sam time. I think his books are great so far.
P.S. James Rollins style of writing makes me not want to put the book down.

I finished book one the grey Griffians and also book two and I loved them both and I am going to talk about book two the Grey Griffians.
Just when the Grey griffians thought everything was back together it wasn't and they didn't know that yet. It was a week until cristimas and the hole city had cristmas lights and decorations every where. It looked beatiful in the hole city. The Grey Griffans all got invited to go to Max's house for cristmas in Scotland and Max's dad was rich and had king doms in almost every country. His mom was rich also and Max's parents got divorced a couple of months ago. And it wasn't easy for Max at all. Everyone was aloud to go to Scotland. But Max's mother didn't see the invation yet and she probaly won't let Max go the Scotland. She hates her once good husband. And she never lets Max see him at all. Max always gets anoyed with her and whenever he speaks of his father's name his mom starts to get tears in her eyes and yells at Max none stop. But this time it didn't happen like that. They got into a big fight but at the end Max one and he could go to Scotland.

A girl named Jessie Lou had a huge crush on this guy named Conrad Parker Smith. In the Second Grade she would always wait for him to run by and pull him into the bushes and kiss him. She was obsessed.She actually though he didnt mind thinking that she did it every single school day. She used to give up her swing time so Conrad could ride a little bit longer, or she would skip lunchtime so he could have a few extra french fries. Not only Jessie Lou was obsessed with him but every girl in the class. Her friends Elizabeth Parnell, Sarah Jane Peabody and Moon n' Stars Montgomery they used to chase him around the playground. But by the Third and Fourth Greade they became more proper. By the beginning of fifth gradeConrad had a reign over the whole class.all the girl were in love with him including Jessie Lou. The guys though he was the coolest thing since forever. Jessie Lou was more of an outdoors girl, no makeup, no skirts, and never a good hairstyle. Her sister Melindaa was gorgeous. All the guys liked her and Jessie Lou cut her hair and it looked like a "raggety rug". Abou six months ago Conrad started to get a limp and then it got worse and worse and worse.soon enoungh he shwed up at school wearing a metal brace. Slowly but surely his popularity began to dwindle and dwindle.
So far I really like this book and i think it will be very interesting to see if she ends up with Conrad.

Jessie Lou is starting to feel like she doesnt matter to the world. Her best friend Elizabeth Parnell moved up to the middle table with Sarah Jane Peabody. Typical Elizabeth Parnell. The class had to do a map and when Jessie Lou got to see it she was discusted more than that she absolutely hated it! Shethough that it looked liked people instead of a map! The teacher was looking out at fourth, fifth, and sixth grade rooms like an explorer would, since they were learning about the Lewis and Clark.
The teacher called on Jessie and asked her if she could help Conrad out with his books because of his foot.
After Jessie Lou said okay it was lunchtime, she went home. She was so scared and nervous since when she looked over at Conrad he had his head down and shming his head no.
I really like this book iys really interesting.

Well right now im in the begining of this book. Will who was choosen in the last book to be the apprentice of Halt the ranger of Redmont. so anyway Will, Halt, and Halts last apprentice Gilan who became a ranger for another kingdom set out to the kingdom of Celtica to deliever a message to the king. out of no where in the middle of the conversation Will asks if his friend Horace could come along. thats kind of a problem because horace is a warrior and not a ranger it was hind of tough for him to come, but Gilan thought it was a great idea. message was sent out to the castle were the warrior apprentices live and horace got it while he was sleeping so the news wasn't so great until he heard it again he was very happy to go on a adventure.
Well in the begin it misled me to thinking that it would start out with Will doing chores. i was surprised When Gilan came in the middle of the night and had news of adventure i was excited. and when horace got the message that he was going on an adventure and didnt relize what it ment i was laughing.

After Jessie Lou had heard that she would have to help Conrad after school she was very very nervous she didnt even want to say a word to him after she saw his reaction to the teacher saying that.
Jessie Lou was finally home(: after she was home her Mama, Grandaddy and Melinie were home too. She was telling her Mama and Grandaddy about the whole Conrad thing, while her mother was making chiken salad. Her Mama and Grandaddy got into a little "play fight" meaning that Grandaddy wanted chicken salad and Mama was like "well, when you gain more weight dont come crying to me telling me that you need a nother button sewed onto your pants or belt loop." Grandaddy and Mama both laugh. Melinie comes down the stairs "Mom did you sign the paper I gave you yet?" Her mother hadnt yet so Melinie sat on the couch. Melinie covered her eyes and said "ohh Jessie Lou your hair look awful I cant even stand to look at you!" Grandaddy comes over and says "now honey, your hair does look horrible but you will always be my little girl wont you?" "Yes Grandaddy."
"Mom sign the paper i have to get back to school." Melinie says.
So far I am very interested in the book that iu am reading I think that Phoebe Stone really has a way of coming out to the writer and expressing her emotions threw the book.

Ive read about up to page 200. So far there was a man who forgot everything about his life that woke up in this fishing village, A doctor was taking care of him. HE had been there for six months. The doctor found a chip is his leg that said he was JAson Bourne. JAson accidentally caused truble in the village so he left to Zurich. HE went to a bank to see if he had a bank acount. HE had 6 million francs. HE gave 2 million to the doctor and 4 million to himself in an account in France. There was a man that tried to shoot him on the way out so he grabbed a woman to use as a hostage. The people chased him all arounfd town until JAson Obtaained a car and told the woman to drive it to France.In France he says that the men said that CArlos would pay alot for his head. THe woman was shocked becuase CArlos was the moist dangerous assasin in the owrld.
I think this book has alot of interesting parts mixed in with some uniteresting parts.

Logan, Max's bodyguard and also a knight Templar was also in a decteve group called the H.P.O. He was trying to find this kings tomb so he could find the kings diary of important things in it. And Logan was in charge of it. They were walking in the temple and then he found it. He grabbed it but then a skelton came out of the tomb and was fighting Logan because he wanted it back. And their were more men with Logan but then two huge Snow monsters came out and they attacked the other men. The monsters blocked the exit and they were huge and vicous. They could kill anyone except theses guys exept of course Morgan LaFey. She was a witch who lived forever and ruined a lot of things in Max's life like making his father betraye Max by going to the bad side. And Morgan LaFey was also the smartest and strogest person in the world except a suprise attack. So Logan got out of the exit just in time, or they were about to die. So they won victory on that mission.

Okay, here it goes. I left off when the gang was at St. Peter's Basilica. They found a hematite slab there, and on it they saw a map of the Europe, Asia, and Africa region. There was a star on Alexandria, so they knew where to go next, the Pharos at Alexandria. I'll give you a hint, enjoy the story while everyone is together... Anyway, they go and find Alexander the Great's tomb. There is a key in his hand. The weird part is that they connect random crap together to get where they want to go. For example, they were trying to find what lock the key was supposed to go in, and found out it was in Avignon, France! Out of all the places it could be Avignon! Their logic behind this (thre wasn't very much) was that Alexander the Great was somehow connected o all the Wonders of the World (i.e. he died next to the Hanging Gardens, that same day the Temple of Artemis was destroyed, the Colossus of Rhodes' finger was at Alexanders hidden tomb, etc). They connected all of the places where the wonders of the world were located on the map and got an hourglass shape. That symbolized the passage of time, but for some reason, Gray put a strike through the hourglass and got to Rome, but they already went there, so Monsignor Verona extended the line to Avignon.
Monk and Rachel got caught by Raoul and Rachel was interrogated. She lied so they cut Monk's hand off! Then, they threatened to kill her grandma (who betrayed her) so she told them all about Avignon.
Meanwhile, Gray took the side of Seichan (who is on both sides) and the Dragon Court wants the key gray has from the tomb so Seichan brings Gray to a spring and Raoul takes his key. He is then locked with Rachel, but they both escape with Seichan (she is on both sides) in a helicopter holding Monk and Cardinal Spera (a friend of Monsignor Verona and a new Guild operative). While all of this is happening Kat and Monsignor get a head start on the next clue in Avignon.
This book is so confusing! I can't imagine what other ideas must be running through James Rollins' mind. He is a very detailed writer and interesting author. I like the author's style of writing (very original and creative) but at the same time these books entail a lot of historical references which gets kinda boring.

The Bourne Identity didnt really have any intebnse fighting parts until the end so I found this book uninteresting. I don't really remember half of it so im just going to say the end.
Jason goes to the Treadstone building in NYC. He pretendds to be onbe of the movere people there and sneaks upstairs. He finds Carlos, the orlds greatest assasin, and fights him. They keep on fighting for like 15 ages until eventually Jason (who you find out is realy David Webb) runs out of ammo. Carlos is about to kill him when the readstone people come and save JAson. Carlos escaped though so I am thinking that he will be in the next book.

Eventually, her father moves out of the family's house. when he announces his plans to go to Las Vegas to file for divorce, her mother is very happy. Karen's brother Jeff runs away after he finds out about his dad going to Las Vegas. Their father stays home to find Jeff, so he is unable to go to Las Vegas. Karen tries every possible way to stop the divorce from happening, including sending anniversary cards and pretending to be ill. Karen rates the days in her diary and only rarely does the day get an A+. At the end there is the possibility that things might be getting better even though she does not succeed in getting her parents to remarry, she makes some other friends including a girl who bathes with her.
this book was very good it had lots of action which made me Keep reading. the only question i have is were dose she move to?

This book so far is about 4 kids. Rennie,Kate, Sticky, and Constance. This is number 2 of the series and in the first one they go on a mission for mr. Benedict to stop the whisperer and they win.
In this story, Mr Benedict makes a surprise for the mysterious Benedict society's 1 year anniversary. when they reunite and go to Mr. Benedict's house, They figure out that the surprise was that Mr Benedict wasn't there and he made up a totally safe around the world mission and that they will see him at the end of their "mission".But what they also discover, is that Mr benedict was actually captured when he set the clue for the mission by his evil twin brother (which is a cliche). The only way they can find him is if they follow the clues. It will still lead them to a dead end, but it was their only hope. They set off alone and not telling their parents because of their obvious opinion about this mission and follow the clues. It leads to a boat that they stayed on for 4 days. When they got off, they found another clue that led up to them going on a train. On this mission, they get spottrd by their old enemys, jillson and jackson. they get off the train one stop before they are told to get off by the clue so they wouldn't get caught.
When i started typing this blog, i realized that this book is very cliched. My proof is that Mr. Benedict's enemy is his "Evil twin brother". Also, Jackson and Jillson. If you take the "son" out of the names, it makes "Jack" and "Jill". You can see where they got the names from.

The only reason i'm reading this book is because it's funny and different and i couldn't go to the library to get new books until the day after.
Anyway, this book really has many conflicts that go on in a "Wimpy Kid's" everyday life. One of the main conflicts is that Greg Heffley (The Wimpy Kid)'s dad thinks that he isn't participating in any after school manly classes. He tries sports like soccer and basket ball but it doesn't work out. He tries many things which all of them he sucks at. THen he joins boyscouts. His dad is very impressed. But not enough to not send him to military school. In the end, greg fights with a 3 year old which causes him to climb a tree and his pants fall down right the second his dad is about to do something very embarrising. his dad thinks he did it for him so he doesn't send him to military school.
This book is very pointless but it is something fun to read when your bored. It has lots of pictures and blank spaces and if you compress every thing and take away the pictures, it would probably end up 20 pages long.

The Odyssey talks about Odysseus' life from his birth to the end of the Trojan War. When he was a baby his grandfather named him Odysseus which means he will be a man of much trouble. When Odysseus was a boy he was hunting in the woods (in search for The Boar) and he came across The Boar. The boar injured his leg and before Odysseus fell and was killed he stabbed and killed The Boar. When Odysseus was of age he became King of Ithaca; he was a very wise king. A short time before the Trojan War Odysseus had son with his wife Penelope. Halitherse said, if Odysseus didn't go to Troy right away he would go missing for twenty years. Two men came and tried to brought him to war. He pretended to be insane but they weren't fooled. Another great deed Odysseus preformed, was he brought Achilles (a great worrier) to war, because he was avoiding it. Odysseus was fighting in war against the Trojans. The soldiers picked three people to convince the Trojans to give Helen back and stop the war. The three couldn't. The Greeks hoped for a quick victory but the war took ten years. Greeks raided other cities and they were successful. But they still camped outside the walls of Troy. Two men, Agamemnon and Achilles had many quarrels. Eventually Achilles quit fighting. The Greeks were going to give up but Odysseus convinced every one to continue. Well, almost every one. A man named Thersites hated Odysseus and his ideas. The Greeks punished him for disagreeing with Odysseus. The Greeks continued fighting but without Achilles they were not succeeding. Odysseus and a few others tried to convince Achilles to fight with them but he wouldn't, until his best friend was killed by Trojan leader, Hector. Achilles had to get revenge. He fought the Trojans and killed Hector. Then he did something very ignoble. He took Hectors dead body and dragged in across the city. Later on Paris shot Achilles with a bow and arrow. Before he was killed, Achilles had a grand funeral for Hector, because he was happy for his death. There were Olympic Games. The next day Achilles fought again, and was shot by Paris. Paris was later killed by a Greek, Odysseus was getting frustrated because they were in Troy for a very long time, and they didn't win yet. Odysseus had the greatest carpenter, Epeus, make a huge hollow horse, with a trap door. Then himself,Epeus, and 18 other soldiers hid inside the horse. The rest of the army sailed away to the next island about four miles away. Meanwhile, Sinon was lying to the Trojans. He said he was an offering to the gods, he escaped, the Greeks didn't want the horse in the city, and many other lies. One of Priam's sons thought Sinon was lying so Athena killed him because she wanted Odysseus to succeed. The Trojans fell for it and Oysseus' plan worked perfectly. Epeus opened the trap door, the soldiers let the rest of the army in, they burned the city of Troy, and took Helen home. Troy was a bloodly and destroyed city.
This story was O.K. I thought Zeus was creepy/weird, and it was a little to far fetched. I like Odysseus' character. The men should not have had to go to the war.

Well they are still traveling to Celtica. on the way they are talking about battle situations. When the got to the kingdom it was deserted, no smoke out of the chimneys, no people, no anything. well after they slept for a night in the town. that next morning they were going down a zig-zag path on the way Horace and Gilan practiced their sword fighting.
i feel that it was kind of weird how they just got the town an just slept there were anything bad could happen is kind of stupid.

This is a book by my favortie author, James Rollins. So far Grayson Pierce is wwalking in the D.C. Mall an a profeeser falls in his arms and dies. He gives him a coin which leads to the smithsonian. trhere he meets the professers daughter. They find a skull in a large artifact and then people begin to chase them and they run. They find a little girl who has special powers and she draws a picture of the Taj Mahal so they head there and meet with the proffesers fre\iend. They follow a long path where they end up in some anceint ruins where they get captured by Russians. They discover that aman is trying to destroy half of the worlds leaders by unleashng invisible radioactive waves wt them.They end up speeding up how fast the thing that was going to cover the nuclear plant so that the explosion was conained. The evil Russian got stuck in there but his wife followed him in then died but she gave him a gun to comit suicide with.
That was were I finished. With this book I could barely feel it in my hands. I could picture evedrything very well in my head. I love how James Rollins always blends History, Science, and action toghether to create and amazing story that you cant stop reading.

This is the first book of the series. I just found out that I've been reading them backwards. However, it has not affected my thinking. The books are not connected in any way, except for the fact that they have the same characters. Anyway. So far, I read that the British Museum in London had a gallery called the Kensington Gallery. It has all the cool Arabian stuff. One day, when a guard (Harry) is on his shift, he finds a ball of lightning which is rarely witnessed. Unfortunately, there is an explosion immediately after. He dies and the Kensington gallery blows up. Kara Kensington and Safia-al-Maaz are trying to solve a mystery (who exploded the gallery). Kara thinks it's connected to the death of her father in a sandstorm.
Meanwhile, Painter is betrayed by his ally. He is then presented with this case and starts his investigation. When he and Safia are introduced to each other, Ryan Fleming (the main guard) is shot. Then, somebody (possibly Painter) asks Safia for the heart (something Kara and Safia discovered that points towards the hinterlands of Oman.
This book is great. The way James Rollins writes just leaves me awestruck. I just can't beieve somebody can think of such creative ideas. Although this book is really interesting, I still don't think it's better then his other books.

I finished and it was really good. Grayson stopped the people from killing the leaders of the world. He discovers that they are trying to blow a lake up and poison the world with radioative substances. Monk is with several children who give their special powers to the main chilkd Pyotr who then stops the floods. He has to trade bodies with the monkey, MArta the. You find that out in the end though. So basically the world was aved from calamity yet again
I was shocked at several points in this book. James Rollins put alot of action in and I liked that. He also made you nervous about what was going to happen. I really like his style of writing.

After the trojan war was over and the greeks had finally won they left on there boats for home. penelope odysseuses wife was beging hit on by many men which his son could not stop alone. she wated for ten years for him to retearn. by alas zeus made up a big storm in which many greeks died at sea however aganemnone made it home but there his wife and boyfriend killed him and odysseus floated ashore to a island. there he meet a extremly beatiful nymph named calypso. she also loved odysseus much and slept with him every knight for 10 years. eventually he relizes he has to live. calypso understands and gives him supplies to build a raft. he lieaves the next day and ends up on the island of a cyclops. they go to a duel to the death and in the end odysseus blinds the cyclops. the cyclops was friends with posiden. posiden was angery at him so when he left the island posiden caused a tornado that blew odysseuses cloths flew away and he swam in the ocean for two whole days looking for land. eventually he landed on a island were a princess meet him on the beach. she broght him back 2 the palace were he feast with the king. during that time a bling singer sang of the battel of troy. odysseus ran out crying. the king dident bother. then outside the men were throwing discus and they asked odysseus to join and he siad o and the teased him that he wasent strong then he picked up the biggest discus and threw it farther then all the others. the next night during dinner the singer came back and odyssus begain to cry yet again this time the king asked who he was and he spilled his whole story out.

When they are going back Posiden turns them into a rock and roots them to the ground. There Odysseud observes the rude men eatin his food and drinkin his rum, in his home. He is discised as a old bum becuase he is clever and wants to make a plan to attack them. He is walking down the street with a stranger and a man of the suitors yells at him for coming in the palace and begging. He kicks Odysseus, and Odysseus sears to have revenge. He tells his son his true identity, but not his wife because she is way to emotional. He goes in his home still as a begger and another old begger cusses him out and tells him to leave. They get into a fight and Odysseus lays him out with just one punch. Odysseus wife asks the poor begger about his backround and hears here husbands name and starts to tear up. Odysseus's wife tells the maid to clean the beggers feet. She notices the scar and reconizes that it's Odysseus(she takes an oath to keep her mouth shut. Penelope has a compation who ever throw a bow from an arrow for 12 rings, she will marry. Noone can do it, then Odysseus come and makes it and takes off the rags and Tells the Suitors that they will pay for Treating his and family very badly. They all beg for mercy. His son and him and two other men kill all the suitors. They make the maids clean up the mess and then exicute 12 of them. Then his he calls his father and his father calls dolius and his sons to fight the brother of the Suitors. Penelope yells and tells everyone to stop fighting and they have a troofs and everything is calm.

This book is about an author who follows the footsteps of Chris McCandless. Chris McCandless after graduating from college went off to the world to search for truth. (Kinda like buddah) Chris died in a bus beacause he ate a poisonous seed that he thought was rice.(He's a college graduate and he ate poisonous seeds. He even had a book to tell him if it was okay to eat. Stupid.) Then some hunters found his decomposed body in a sleeping bag. Chris was gone from home about 3 years before he died.
So far this is an O.K book. It's well written and has an interesting storyline. Chris McCandless is an idiot though and should have at least told someone where he was going before he left.

Well Will, Horace, and Gilan found these thieves who were going house to house when the houses were abandoned. the names of these two guys were Carney and Bart. they got a tip from a friend that people left their houses because Morgrath this evil guy or thing i haven't really ran into him yet but he is having a war against all the kingdoms like ten years ago. anyway they caught these guy's and tied them up. late that day they found this little girl who was visiting her friend. she told them that she had been there for two weeks without any food except for things she found on the ground to eat. she also told them that she still thought that the invaders were still there so she didn't go in the houses.
i felt this part of the book i read was kind of boring because they found thieves caught them and told why they were they and found a little girl that was there for two weeks without trying to find help.

So when her friends' parents go into hiding, her friend stays with her and pretends to be her sister when the Nazis come. Then, the girl's mother takes her and her friend to their Uncle Henricks' house in the country. They help her friend and her family, and some other Jews escape to Sweden, which is just a couple miles away from where her uncle lives. The girl misses her friend and says that one day she'll go to Sweden to visit.
I loved this book. I thought that the author really showed how scared the two girls were when the Nazis arrived. i liked how I could see into the girls' minds.

When Meggie, Mo, and Elinor met with Capricorn, he had all of the Inkheart books in existence. THen he burned all of the copies. Dustfinger was so sad because he could never get back to his real world. Mo was also sad because he could never read out his wife. She was gone. Dustfinger was so helpless that he put his hand in the fire in order to save a book. Then Capricorn had Mo read him books with treasure. Mo read tuns of gold from Treasure Island and many other books.
This is a very good book. I (kind-of) like Elinor's character because she is different. She loves books even sometimes more than humans. She always thinks of things in a clever way. One of her negative qualities is that she tends to curse alot when she is angry.

Chapter 1-3
A series of unfortunate events *a bad beginning*

The Bad Beginning starts off with a very bad beginning. The Baudelaire children, Violet, Klaus and Sunny, are enjoying a cloudy day at their favorite beach. They prefer cloudy days, since no one else comes to Briny Beach then and the children are free to do as they please. Violet Baudelaire, the oldest of the siblings, is fourteen years old. She is an inventor and a very bright child. Whenever she is thinking about inventing something, she ties her hair up with a ribbon, to keep it from getting in her eyes and distracting her. She is busy skipping rocks right-handed and thinking of a machine that will allow the rock to return. Klaus Baudelaire is twelve years old and extremely intelligent. He loves to read books and study things.Mr. Poe takes the children to their ruined mansion, and they find that everything they owned has been destroyed. The children are then taken to Mr. Poe's home and introduced to his two children, Edgar and Albert. Mr. Poe's children do not like the Baudelaires and resent having to share their room.
For the first few days, the horrible events begin to sink in for the Baudelaires. They become more aware of their surroundings and realize that they do not like the Poe household at all. Mrs. Poe has provided them with itchy clothing. The house smells funny, and Edgar and Albert are extremely obnoxious. The food isn't much better and seems to consist of three boiled or blanched dishes with nearly every meal.
The Baudelaires' life with Count Olaf gets off to a bad start. The three children are forced to live in one room, with only one bed, and there is no crib for Sunny. Violet and Klaus take turns sleeping in the bed, and Sunny is forced to sleep on a lump of dirty curtains. The children rarely see Olaf, who seems to prefer leaving them with a pan of oatmeal in the morning and a long list of chores. He spends his time either away from the house or up in his tower, which they are forbidden to enter.
One day, however, Count Olaf leaves the children a note that he expects them to cook dinner for his entire theater troupe, which will be visiting that evening. Since the Baudelaire children do not know
So far I think that this book is very interesting and i cant wait to see wht happenes to the family.

at first i thought antsy was going to jail. but actually he has to community sercive that turned somthing big. it all started when antsy and his friends cut loose a giant racoon ballon at the street fair. the cops catch them doing it and cant arrest them because there kids. so they have to do community service. antsy has to give hours to a kid named Gunner Umlate. apearently gunner has a disease and he needs help with like school work and other impotent things in life. but the bad thing is eventully at a random gunner is going to die from his illness. but after a wile the word speards about gunner and antsy has like a bussiness. every one wants to donate hours to gunner

THE ANT JOURNEY

Characters:
1) Tom the Ant- Protagonist. Is prince to the Ant kingdom and was sent out to fight against bees but got lost. Ant hill is in Backyard.
2) Chuck the Ant- Tom’s friend. Helps Tom get back home before his evil brother marries Tom’s Girlfriend and take control of kingdom.
3) Flizo- Antagonist. Tom’s evil brother who is trying to win the love of Tom’s Girlfriend and take control of the Kingdom.
Events (In order of which they happen):
1) Wasp- Tries to kill him and his Chuck, but they trap it by tricking it to go into a hole in a tree and then sealing tree with rock.
2) Evil Brother sends out soldiers to kill them- Tom and Chuck kill them by making rocks fall on them.
3) Bird is nice enough to take them home- Bird gets attacked by hawk and Tom and Chuck fall into puddle.
4) Snake- They are able to make it be scared by biting nearby sleeping cat on the nose.
5) Returning- They return but Flizo has convinced everyone that he is dead so everyone is trying to date Tom’s Girlfriend. They all try to kill him when he claims that he is what he is because they like his Girlfriend a lot. He is able to get to the Queen (His mom).

This book starts with a boy and his friend heading up a trin to find his brother ythey finds him and sneak off the train. They then find a town and find this lantern in it whic will help them (Since thwy re underground). Trhey then look in this cavve where there are thes4e plants that make one of the characters look dead. They have to leave even though they are sad.
They see a group of limiters (BAD PEOPLE) and hide. One of them is about to open a pack of gum. When these two poeple capture them and yhen bring them to their hideout. They explain their story. The people then say that their friend may be alive and they go rescue them.
They stay in the hideout for a month until they decide to head out. The Main character gets llost for several days but eventually finds his way back. The leader of the two people that found them heads out on a mission with Cal and the other person and he gets captured.
I think this book is okay. It is very detialed in all parts and is usually pretty actiony. I would recommend this book to anyone that read the prequel.

Chris has been a drifter for about ten years in the U.S. He decided to leave and go to mexico. The border patrol agents would not let him in. So he snuck in swimming down the colorado river with a canoe. He followed the river to the end untill he got to swamps. He got very mad and broke his paddle. He found some hunters who drove him out of the swamp and dropped him off back in the river. He finnaly reached the ocean. Then he swam back to land, ditching his canoe. He then met a old man named Ronald Franz.(This is not his real name. It said in the book he didn't want his real name used.) He survived world war 2 but when he got home he found out his wife and only child died.
Chris has no main goal except to get to alaska and live. He does stupid thing but finds ways to get out of them with his knowledge. It's not a shock to me that he died because of a stupid thing like eating a poisonous seed when he had a @#$% book right next to him. It's an okay book though. Some of the things he does are interesting.

The Odyssey is about the troubles that Odysseus faces on his journey home and at the Trojan War. In the first part, he is born, and named Odysseus because it means "a man of much trouble". the first trouble Odysseus faces is when a wild boar injures him, and to save himself, he kills the boar.
The son of King Priam of Troy, Paris, steals Helen from Menelaus, and everyone has to leave Ithaca to fight the Trojan War. Odysseus is the one that makes Achilles, the strongest warrior, fight in the war. Anyway, the Greeks won the Trojan War. This was because Odysseus told the best warriors to hide in a hollow, wooden, horse. The Trojans took the horse in their city, and slept. Everything was happily ever after, not. The Greeks hiding in the horse opened the gates for the other Greeks to come in. Then, the Greeks won because of the element of surprise. Anyway, after Odysseus fights in the Trojan War, him and most of the men fight the Ciconians. They win, and steal their food, but then the Ciconians come back with allies. The Greeks lose a lot of men, but Odysseus survives. Then they go to the island of the lotus-eaters. Three of the men eat the lotus plant and want to stay forever, but the Greeks force them to keep going. After this, the Greeks come to an island near the Italian Peninsula. At this island, there is a cyclops who eats some of them. Odysseus finally tricks him. He says "I'm Nobody." Then he pokes the Cyclop's eye out. The cyclops says nobody is trying to kill him, and nobody comes to save him. Then the Greeks escape under lambs and Odysseus taunts the cyclops. This makes Posiedon (the cyclop's father) his enemy. Anyway, Odysseus then goes through the Laestrygonians. When the Greeks get to an island, they split up. One group goes through a woods, and one waits. The group that goes through the woods meets a goddess name Circe who turns them into pigs. Finally Odysseus goes alone and makes Circe turn his men back into men. She listens and tells him to go to the underworld to talk to a prophet and find out where to go. He goes to the underworld and finds the prophet. After this adventure, Odysseus goes and gets a bag of winds which helps the Greeks get back to Ithaca, but when they open the bag looking for treasure, they are blown all the way to the Sirens. There, Odysseus tells his men to tie him up and plug their ears. He then listens to what the Sirens say and wants to go to them, but the men hold him back. Finally, he fights two monsters, goes to the island of Calypso (a sea nymph) for a few years, and goes to the island of the Phaecians. The king of the Phaecians helps him get back to Ithaca upon hearing his story. However, when he returns to Ithaca, he learns that mean people called Suitors are stealing his money and harassing his wife. He then fights a war against them with his son Telemachus. He defeats all 108 Suitors. Then, his wife sits with Odysseus. She is so shocked he is back, she wants to make sure it's really him. She asks him to move the bed, but he says it's a tree so he can't move it. Penelope (Odysseus's wife) then knows for sure he is her husband. Finally, Odysseus and a bunch of other men (including his dad) fight the kinsmen of the Suitors, but are stopped by Athena (a goddess who helps Odysseus the most throughout the story). In the end, Odysseus lives happily ever after.
I thought this story was fantastic! I can't imagine what ideas were running through Homer's head. His story was so great, many literature novels are based on it!

Painter and his new partner Coral Novak are trying to find antimatter, which they think might be in the iron heart. They team up with Kara, Safia, Omaha, and Danny, and go to Oman. There, Safia is attacked by a snake (after the incident, a butler comes and notices the snake has no fangs;implying it's not a real snake). Anyway, noobody is hurt, and they have to go to Salalah. However, their enemy, Painter's old partner, who betrayed him, puts mines in the boat they're taking. The people in the boat hear random gunfire, and Painter realizes that his old partner must have planted mines. Then, he kills one of his partners henchmen, and finds a belt on him. He realizes that if all of her henchmen die, she will set the mines off. Then, he kills all of the henchmen, and tells all of his partners to put the belts on. However, the mines are already set off, and Painter and his partners have to make a narrow escape. THen, they steal a car in order to get to Salalah. However, their is one thing in their way. Safia.
Safia is kidnapped by Cassandra (Painter's old partner) along with the iron heart. They go to Salalah and go to Nabi Imran's tomb (Virgin Mary's father). Then, they find out that if you drop the iron heart, it'll land resting like a normal heart. Meanwhile, Omaha almost kills Painter for saying not to save Safia. Painter says this because he knows Cassandra will just kill all ofthem. He also wants to keep the fact that they are alive a secret.
I lke this book. I still think it isn't as good as James Rollins's other books. I think he could put a little more suspense. Hwever, I still like the action and drama he puts in his books.

This book is about a girl who likes this boy named Jermey she calles him Jermey Dragon. Then she finds out that he is living in her old house and sleeps in her old room by the exterminator that comes to fix there mice problem.Then she calles her best freinds Rachel and Alison. then they came right over her house to talk.the next day in the assambly, there teacher said there was going to have a 7th grade bake sale so Alison and Steph went to Alisons grandmother house to make brownies. At the bake sale the brownies were the bests sellers.

Chapters 19 - 26
In this section, Mo reads another story out loud to Capricorn and his men. This time instead of gold, Mo reads out a boy named Farid. At first Farid doesn't believe that he is actually in the real world, it is just a dream. But later on he realizes he will never make it back to his home in the story book. Mo refuses to read out loud for Capricorn again. So, he tells Mo he will not have to read until tomorrow. In the middle of the night Dustfinger gets Elinor's keys, from Basta, and frees Meggie, Mo, Elinor, and Farid. They all escape in Elinor's car. One they got about half way up the mountain towards the village, Elinors tire pops and they have to walk home. Basta and Flatnose are following them, trying to take them to Capricorn. Fortunatly they loose track of them. But later Basta and Flatnose found them very early in the morning, but Dustfinger and Mo tied them up. And they all got away safely although one of the dogs bit Mo and he had a wound on his arm. They found the village and Elinor bought them all wonderful things, including hotel rooms. Elinor got Mo Fenoglio's, the writer of Inkheart, address so Mo might be able to read Meggie's mother out of the book. The author didn't have a copy of the book. He wanted to here Mo's story and meet Dustfinger. Meggie learned that Dustfinger dies at the end of the novel.
I think this book is very good. I am only half way done the book and they have already escaped from Capricorn. I wonder what the author will talk about in the next half.

The Meanest Doll in the World

Annabelle and her friend Tiffany climbed into Nora's backpack because if they hadn't a human would have seen them. They were taken to school, where at the end of the day, they climbed (accidentally) into another child's backpack because they had thought it was Noras'. They were taken to another home with other dolls. Some of the dolls were nice, like Waterfall and the Troll Twins, and others weren't, like Princess (mean) Mimi and Techno-Man. The Sandra Doll was also helping Mimi, but she didn't want to (she only helped her because she was afraid of Mimi). So Waterfall, the Troll Twins, Annabelle, Tiffany, and the other dolls (i dont remember their names) teamed up to stop Mean Mimi. They built barracades and set traps. Then, Mimi got Sandra doll to build a race track and they sent cars at the other dolls. After the fight, the dolls cleaned everything up. Then, Techno-Man came in and (after a battle) Annabelle revealed that he wasn't an action figure, but a doll dressed up in "techno" clothes. He was embarrassed and he didn't help Mean Mimi anymore. The Sandra Doll went to play with Baby Billy (another doll that I remembered) and didn't help Mimi either. Then Mean Mimi goes away and hides somewhere. After the weekend, Annabelle and Tiffany go back to school in the child's backpack, and climb into Nora's. Then the go home and meet their family. The Funcrafts and Annabelle's family were so worried. Then from out of the backpack comes Mean Mimi. She starts crying, then runs out of Nora's room, and the dolls are worried that Mimi may get the humans Suspicious about doll kind.
I think that this book is good so far. I like how Tiffany stands up for herself, and doesn't back down. She always talks back to Mimi, and isn't afraid.

The Dolls and Funcrafts have a meeting about what to do with Mimi. They decide to trap her, but when they try to trap her in the Barbie Minivan, Nora's cat, The Captain, wrecks everything. Then they have another meeting, and Annabelle suggests that they do nothing at all, because if Mimi causes mischeif, then she will get into trouble, and the Dolls and Funcrafts won't. (they agree not to go eith this plan, but turns out that he plan works later on). Mimi meets Annabelle alone in the Barbie Minivan and tells her that her aunt and Tiffany were planning an Expedition and they weren't going to invite Annabelle because she always made it less fun. This makes Annabelle mad and she yells at Tiffany and tells her that she isn't her best friend anymore.
I hate how Mimi is being so mean to everyone. She even broke the great friendship Annabelle and Tiffany had together. I hope Mimi goes into PDS (permanent doll state).

Chapter 26 - 31
In this section, Fenoglio meets Dustfinger. Dustfinger threatens to kill him and he ran away with Farid, and Gwin. He said he will teach Farid to "play with fire" and then they will go back to Capricorn. In the next chapter, Elinor returned to her home. When she goes into her library there are no books on the book shelf. There was a dead roster, Capricorn's symbol, hanging from the roof. There was also a black arrow pointing towards the garden. Elinor walked outside and all of her books were ashes. Elinor weeped. The next day she called Mo and told him what happened. Fenoglio was curious and asked Mo what happened, he told then. Elinor was coming to report Capricorn to the police, and Maggie was going to stay with Fenoglio. When she was chasing Mo Rico, Pippo, and Paula stopped her because they wanted to play. She also found a very skinny gray kitten. She went back to her house, (the one they rented) and she fed the skinny kitten. Pippo wanted her to play, when she opened the door Basta was there. He knew they were in the village because of Dustfinger, not because he told them but because he asked people around town about a fire eater. Basta and Flatnose went to Fenoglio's house looking for Inkheart. THey thought the author of Inkheart was dead, and Fenoglio he had a copy. Thy were going to take Meggie and Fenoglio to Capricorn. Mo didn't return with Elinor.
This book is very good. I would have never guessed that Basta and Flatnose would come back. I felt bad for Elinor because those books were very important to her.

Chris hasn't been doing much new stuff. He's just visiting old friends that he met a while ago. He is working for Westerburg hoping to get enough money to buy a new rifle. He only has a .22 and that won't be enough for Alaska. One of the workers at the granary. He tought Chris how to hunt and clean game. Chris was starving because his .22 rifle couldn't kill any big game. The worker was talking about bird and rabit, small game.
Chris is still doing stupid things but then uses his smarts to get him out of those situations. IF he came back he could have done the world some use and maybe invented some items that helped the world. But he wanted to go rot to death in the alaskan wilderness with nothing to his name. Good choice Chris.

Now it's just going to all of Chris's relatives and talking to them about how they fell about Chris's death. His sister feels horrible and can't get through one day withought crying. She flipped out and went hysterical when she heard about Chris's death. Her husband drove her to her parents, a four hour drive. When chris died all he had was a .22 rifle, a boy scout handbook for the plants also where his journal was written, and a camera. The author describes how he was like Chris because he didn't like male authority from his father. He wanted to go to alaska and canada to climb mountains and explore the wilderness.
That is pretty much all that is happening. The book is pretty good so far and I'm almost done. (I also have my own name at the top.

Well Gilan Halts last apprentice told Will and Horace to take the little girl Evanlyn Back to the castle in Redmount. On the way Horace and Evanlyn got tiered of riding on the horse so the were conplaining about this spot they saw and said they should stop there because it was the only spot with branches of the trees with cover. so will gave in and let them camp there. when it came to dinner Evanlyn said she wanted a fire, but they couldn't because these half dog half bear things called Wargal could smell anything from a mile away. Agin will gaave in and made a small fire. then they heard screeches and it was two wargals coming. so they went under Will's camoflashed cape.
the beginning of what i read was boring, but evenchuly it got better right around when Horace and Evalyn started to complain.
When the Wargals came it kind of surprised me. other wise what i read was good.
