The End
Chapter 1
(Sorry, it's been a busy week and I have not read that much!)

In this chapter the three orphans are on a boat with Count Olaf. There is no food except for white beans which the young chef Sunny prepares. There is not much you can do with beans so Sunny could not make more tasty meals. There were no books for Klaus to read and Violet was trying to make a compass to help them find land. Count Olaf was not doing any thing productive to help.

This is a very good book. Lemony Snicket is a very good writer and I am sad :-( that the Series of Unfortunate Events is coming to an end. I will miss Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. I hope Count Olaf is defeated. Since the rest on the books are very depressing I hope this one has a happy ending.

The Grim Grotto
Lemmony Snicket
Finished

Its been two weeks since I posted mmy last blog because last week we didn't have to. Two weeks ago I had read four or five books, but now I've read eleven. I'm not going to do all of them of course, because that would take days. so here's the eleventh book, The Grim Grotto. In this book, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire are going through the Stricken Stream in a tobaggan (yes, a snow toboggan). They have just been climbing the Mortmain Monuntains to get to the HQ of a secret organization called VFD. Count Olaf, the villain who is trying uptain the Baudelaire fortune, is chasing the Baudelaires, but they manage to escape down the mountains in a tobaggan. Unfortunately, there is a stream at the bottom of the mountains and the end up going through it. Their friend, Quigley Quagmire (part of the Quagmire triplets and is thought to have died) is pushed into the water and the Baudelaires have to part with him. This is where the Grim Grotto starts. In this book, they find a submarine called the Queequeg and climb aboard it. They are trying to get to the last safe place because the HQ was burned down. THey are also trying to find the "sugar bowl" (don't ask). The Baudelaires and their shippmate, FIona, find out thaat the sugar bowl is in the Gorgonian Grotto (a cave with poisonous and deadly mushrooms. The Baudelaires look there, but it isn't there. Sunny gets one spore of the mushroom stuck in her helmet, and becomes poisoned, but the Baudelaires can't let her out or they'll become poisoned! Anyway, they get back to the sub, and the captain is gone. They get caught by Count Olaf while panicking, but escape. They heal Sunny, but sadly, Fiona joins Count Olaf's crew. The Baudelaires, come to shore and make it to the last safe place.

This was a wonderful series. I just have two more books to go! I can't wait to start the next book, The Penultimate Peril. The books are really confusing, but at the end of each book, secrets are revealed. This just reveals more secrets, but the books are still great.

Maximum Ride Book Three:
Saving the World and other Extreme Sports
Up to page 100
Haddon Antonucci

Max and the other mutanats have gone to colorado. Fang and mAx go search for a place to live while Iggy watches over the younger Kids (not that they are human/goat they are really human/bird). Iggy and the children get kidnapped by hundreds of robots called flyboys. Msx and Fang find Ella and Dr. Msrtinez who were MAx's old friends. Max gets the chip removed from her left arm but loses control of it as well.

FAng and MAx head out to rescue their friends when they discover that they were kidnapped. They get captured and discover that for the past few months they had been hooked up to a simulation of reality and just testing MAx. THis is were I stopped reading.

I usually don't like first person books, but this one I am interested in. I guess it's because it's really actiony.

Mr. J I transfered this from the other date because when I posted this one was in existence.

The End
Lemony Snicket
(1-200)

This is for the week of 12/8-12/11. The Baudelaires are on a boat with Count Olaf (an evil villain who is trying to obtain the Baudelaire fortune). There is a big storm and they wash up on the shores of an island. The facilitator is very strict and turns out to be a liar. He throws the Baudelaires and Count Olaf out of the island. All the island has to eat is dull food and all they have to drink is a cordial (very sweet drink). The Baudelaires find a long lost friend named Kit Snicket when she washes up on the shore. She calls for help because Kit is pregnant and injured. Help is on the way and when a few island members come to save the Baudelaires, they learn that the islanders will overthrow the facilitator. That is where I stopped.

My opinion will be continued later because of the Holiday Concert...

The End
Chapter 2- 4
For the week of December 8 - 12

The Baudelaires are on a boat with Count Olaf during a storm. There boat washes up on a coastal shelf and the four walk to a nearby island. The Baudelaires and Count Olaf, meet a girl named Friday. She is rude to Count Olaf because he is rude to her. Friday is kind to the Baudelaires and takes them to get food and coconut cordial. Then Friday took the Baudelaires to Ishmael's tent. He makes them change into dry robes and follow their culture.

I like how Count Olaf is abandoned on the island. Lemony Snicket does a good job of describing the scenes and I can picture them in my head. I am disappointed that the series is coming to an end because I love Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. I think Count Olaf will be defeated. (Because all stories need happy endings! Just Kidding!)

This book is about a boy named arty who is 14 years old and 4 foot 11 inches. His twin brother Kurt is foot 2 inches. Arty hates his brother because of all the horrible things he does to Arty. Once Kurt locked arty in a chest downstairs. Kurt forgot about him and left him thre for two days. When Kurt finally came back and found him Arty was in a pool of his own sweat and pee.

The End
Lemony Snicket
1-200

This is the continuation of my last blog. I said that I would do the opinion later due to the Holiday concert. So here it is.

I believe that The End is not as good as the other books in this series. It doesn't have as much action or as much secrets or even as much suspense. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

A short summary:

-Bella discovered Jake as a warewolf.

-Alice comes to visit Bella.

-Edward thinks that Bella is dead, so by the head of vampires, he wants to go get put to sleep. (in vampire, it means go to the most royal vampire dynasty, and ask their permission to die and a vampire and forever.)

-Alice and Bella are trying to go save Edward before he kills himself.

I'm sorry that I didn't write a long summary, I can only clearly remember the important matters.
