Alexandra A Series of Unfortunate Events: Book the Eigth (the hostile hospital) Pages 1-80 This book is about three orphans that are running from the police and Count Olaf (a vile criminal who has tried to capture them and take the fortune that their parents left behind). The orphans, Sunny, Klause and Violet Bauldelaire are first seen in the book running away from their previous gardian "V.F.D" (standing for Village of Fowl Devotees) because Count Olaf accused them of murdering Jacques.The siblings find a store called "The Last Chance: general Store" and decide to go inside, hoping that he has not read the newspaper that has printed about how they were murderers. Later, he reads the newspaper and the children escape from the store in the V.F.D van (standing for Volunteers Fighting Disease). They meet a man that sings wierd songs and doesn't know anybody's name (because he calls everyody either brother or sister). The children are thought to have been hired at V.F.D and they are assigned a job to work in the Library of Records. The siblings have to organize all the info on the whole town (there's a lot).
I think this book is a very good so far, because Lemony Snicket (author) writes the book like he's talking to you. I think the book is very discriptive, which makes it easy to picture. I feel bad for the Bauldelaires because they have lived very poorly since their parents died. I hope that they have better luck.

Her grandfather gives them a lamb. and gives felicity a guitar that was felicity grandmother's.felicity was not aloud to bring it Miss Manderly's house,her teacher,but did any way.after her lesson's she went to her best freind elizabeths house.she left the guitar at elizabeths house. then she hears that the govrner is going to steal the gun powter she stopes them just in time.
I think that this book was very good because I could folow it easiely.it had great detail. I could picuer every thing in my head.
Jordana The Meanest Doll in the World Chapters 5-8
In the section I read this week, Annabelle and Tiffany decide to go and watch Kate in her classroom. The two dolls see Kate do her work and they learn some things that Kate learns. At recess Annabelle and Tiffany head back to Kate's backpack. As they were climbing up, kids filled the hallways. The dolls jumped into the nearest pouch of Kate's backpack. On the way home Annabelle and Tiffany realized they were in the wrong backpack! It was a Friday so the two friends could not get back to school until Monday. (They had to wait a whole other weekend to get back home.) Since they were stuck at someone else's house, they decided to explore. When they got out off the bag, Princess Mimi and the big Sandra doll came in. Princess Mimi was chasing the PJ Pal dolls and the troll dolls, so all of the dolls (including Annabelle and Tiffany) hid in the lego house and talked.
I think the book is very clever and well written. The author makes you want to read more. I thought it was very funny how Princess Mimi is introduced. I really want to know what happens next and how the dolls get back home.
Maximum Ride-School’s Out Forever Dhruv Patel Pgs 180-225
In these pages of this story, Max and the other flock members go to the white house for a field trip. In the whit house, they take a tour. After the tour, they visit the souvenir shop. While they are in the souvenir shop, they look at all the items. While they were looking at the souvenirs, Max loss track of angel. She was really worried because angel might have gotten killed by Ari. At the end, it was just that angel got lost. Somebody found her and brought her back. It was the president. When they left the white house, they were all satisfied. Thanksgiving had arrived and they were talking about what they are thankful for. They flock members said stuff like family, food, and more. Then Anne said she was thankful for the flock being at her house and said she wanted to adopt them. I liked this part of the novel because I was thinking about stopping read 2 or 3 chapters before I actually did. I did this because I always had some thing I wanted to know so I read on. I wanted to read on when angel was lost, when they went on the field trip, and when Anne said she wanted to adopt them. I read the first few sentences of the next chapter and it doesn’t sound like they were surprised, I wonder why.
Rangers Apprentice Jaxx Ottinger Honrce was practing with his sword and three bullies came up to him and stated beating him with canes and Hornce listened to what they ever saib because if they did'nt he would get killed. After they were don beating him they said they were going to go beat Will and Hornce did'nt whant that to happen.
The bullies arrived at Halts house and saw Will practing with his weopons. The tree bullies Alya, Jerome, and Bryan came up and started hitting him with canes. Hornce showed up and said it was anough. Then Halt came out and started beating the three bullies and they got expelled from Battle School.
While at JrNYLC I had so little time to read anything that I don't even remember how many pages I read last. I lost complete track of where I am in the book so I'll just tell you the details I remember reading last. A weird creature, Eustace Scrubb, and Jill Pole went to a giant's house for the Autumn Feast and were looking forward to it. They had a maid who took them to the kitchen. She went to sleep and Jill looked in one of the cookbooks. She found out that the giants were going to eat them so they made an escape. They ran to a cave which took them to the underworld in which the creatures told them they could never come back to the overworld.
I think this book is very ironic. I thought that the creature, Eustace, and Jill were going to run to some knd of shelter, but no; they had to run to a cave in the Underworld! Hopefully they find a way to get out even though the creatures said they couldn't!
Rangers Apprentice Jaxx Ottinger Halt and Will took of to see Halts old class mates and when they were on their way Halt told Will to whatch out because every year his old classmates would try to sneak up on him and suprise him. Its a game they always play. Will whent up to the tree to see if he saw anyone and he saw someones leg and their movement. He finally saw somre one sneaking up on Halt and then Will shot a bow and arrow at the side of the guy and scared him so bad and he lost the game. The old Apprentice was nice and his name was Riley.
Didn't go to school. She didn't even pretend to be sick. She just cut school. This time she went to the Prescot Players auditorium. There she saw a man sleeping. It was her play director Vincent. He has very bad stage fright and to overcome it he needs to make wherever he is acting like a home to him. The next day she went to her grandfathers house. Her grandfather has 20 acres of ope land that a man wants to buy. Her grandfather had a plan though. He went in the middle of his land and found a well that no one used. He put 4 sticks of dynamite in it. He blew the well up and made a big crater. The crater started to fill up with water. Then he put endangered frog eggs in the "Pond". Now even if he sold the land they cant build houses on it.
Ingrid has horribly stupid plans. She didn't go to school for two days straight and she wasn't even sick. She also broke about 10 laws also. Ingrid has got to become a better person or go to jail.
this kid likes money ever since he got his chors done as a little kid. as he got older he did different things. like opening a lemonade stand for 25 cents. except for his neighbor opened one to for 20 cent. now he is selling comics in school.
Finally it's over! This part of the book was way better than the beginning, but it wasn't the best thing ever. Unlike the other parts of the book, I didn't want to put the book down this week. So... where was I? I'll give you a recap of my last entry; Eustace Scrubb, a creature, and Jill were all running to a cave from a giant's house. They ended up in the Underworld and couldn't get back out. There was a knight who was being enchanted by an evil witch that he thought was hot. Okay, maybe the book didn't say that, but the way he was staring at her made it seem like that. Books that take place in England tend not to say thes kind of words Now, the creature, Eustace, and Jill didn't know that the knight was actually a prince that they have been looking for until dead of knight. This may sound odd, but at midnight the prince randomly broke out of his enchantment and ran away to the overworld with them and ended up being right under Narnia! What a coincidence! Then they went to see the prince's dad, who, okay this may surprise you, died right when he saw his son! Now that is what I call bizarre. Finally, they go home and live happily ever after bla bla bla and all of that good stuff. I think this book was altogether pretty good. However it wasn't very original. Like all fiction books, at the end they lived happily ever after even after all of the dangers they went through. That is not very realistic, now is it? After the last book of this series (the next book) I'm definately going to start reading a nonfiction book.

So far I think this book is the best book I've ever read.i think this book is good because the dital has a very good imige.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Chapters 4 -7
Harry arrives at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place which he finds out is the hidden headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. It is also Sirius Black’s old house. The Order is having a secret meeting which children are forbidden to attend. Mrs. Weasley brings Harry upstairs to be with Ron and Hermione but they are told to be very quite. Harry is very angry about what is going on and wants to be informed. Ron and Hermione explain that they are sworn to secrecy by Dumbledore. Ron’s siblings have invented an eavesdropping device called the Extendable Ear and use it to listen to the meeting. They hear that the newspaper has been making fun of Harry to destroy his name. As they are listening, Tonks knocks over an umbrella stand and wakes up a very loud painting. The other paintings start to shriek and Sirius Black appears. He tells the kids that the first painting to start yelling is his mother’s.
Harry and the kids clean out the house while the house elf, named Kreacher acts very nasty towards them. Kreacher tries to save all of Mrs. Black’s heirlooms. Sirius tells Harry about his family tree and explains that he is related to Tonks, the Malfoys and others through blood marriages. Sirius abandoned his family because of their beliefs about pure blood wizards. Sirius was then taken in by the Potters and lived with them. This makes Harry very happy.
Harry gets ready for his hearing at the Ministry of Magic and leaves with Mr. Weasley. When they arrive at the location, they are told that the meeting has moved and also changed to an earlier time. They rush to the meeting since they are already late. Mr. Weasley is not allowed to stay with Harry and leaves him alone with the Ministry.
