Alexandra Mother-Daughter Book Club Pages 3-10 So far, this book is about a girl named Emma, who is going into 6th grade and loves to read and write. She feels sick and wishes she could go home. She has to wear hand-me-downs from a girl named Nicole Patterson and the Fab Four (popular girls Becca, Ashley, Jen and Megan) tease her about it. Emma's brother is Darcy who is in 8th grade and whose best friend is Kyle. Emma is in all the advanced classes with her BF Jess, but she isn't in the same homeroom as her. Emma doesn't have any good friends besides Jess.
I like the book so far because Emma is a lot like me: she over-thinks and loves to read and write. I feel bad for Emma because she has to wear hand-me-downs and all girls tease her because of it. I think Emma should try and make some new friends to make her school-life a little easier.
Neil The Voyage of the Dawn Treader C.S. Lewis 1-60
This book is about two children (Eustace and Jill) who get sent to a land called Narnia. Eustace falls off of a cliff but a lion who sends them on a task, blows him to land. He gives Jill 4 things to do on her task and blows her to the land. They start on the task (they have to find a lost prince) with a frog-like creature. They reach a giant's land for the Autumn Feast and forget about the first three things the lion told Jill to do. They have to do the last thing right or they will fail their task. They are looking through the cook book and realize the giants want to eat them. They attempt to run away and end up in a cave.
So far this book is great! When i read the first 20 pages, I got really bored, but after reading some more I didn't want to stop! I can't wait to finish this book because with all of the Narnia books, the end is the best.
Lauren Dwyer Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Chapters 2 and 3 Mrs. Figg and a man named Mundungus Fletcher have been asked to watch over Harry by Professor Dumbledor and prevent Harry from performing any magic. Mrs. Figg takes Harry and Dudley back to Dudley's parent's house after the attack. Harry is questioned by his aunt and uncle and receives messages from four owls during this time. The first tells Harry he is expelled from Hogwart's for using magic outside of school. The second message tells Harry that Prof. Dumbledor knows about the situation and is trying to fix it, but Harry can't leave the house. The third message tells Harry that the first message has been changed, and he can keep his wand until a hearing takes place. Finally, the fourth message is from Sirius Black telling Harry that he knows about the dementor attack and that Harry cannot leave the house for any reason. Although his aunt and uncle are frightened and want him to leave, they decide to let him stay in the house.
Harry stays locked in his room for days and writes letters to Ron, Hermione and Sirius trying to find out why the dementors attacked him. When his aunt and uncle leave the house, Harry goes downstairs because he heard a noise. He finds wizards waiting for him to bring him to a more safe location. The wizards take Harry to number 12 Grimmauld Place in London.
So far this book is great. All of the Harry Potter books have a lot of action which keeps me wanting to read them.
The kid dint believe sounder was dead so he walked and looked for him and found his ear shot off and took it home and put it under his pillow his still has a lot of time to complete so the kid take cares of his sibling and is the new man of the house
James Warriors the eclips By Erin hunter Finished the book was good. i thought the other books were alot better than this one. but i still thought it was pretty good.
the story was about these cats that have mysterious powers. well this cat wonder into the clan. he told them that the sun was going to go out. well it turns out it did during a battle of the four clans. at the gathering cat cat clan were all there. one of the clan s left and all of the cats were thinking that the moon would fall on them.
Ingrid has been snooping around Echo Falls pretending to be sick. She keeps looking for proof about kracked up Katie's murder. She was at her house one night and was trying to get her red Pumas back from her house. Ingrid had left them there one night. She saw they were in a room that had tape all around it which said Police Line Do Not Cross. She went in anyway ad grabbed her Pumas. She heard somebody coming toward the room. She hid under a bed. The man who walked in came really close to the bed. So close Ingrid could hear the person breathe.
So far this book seems very interesting. She doesn't seem to be that smart with plans either. When she pretended to be sick on a school day she left her house, went to a murder scene, and took shoes from a police line that said do not cross.
Will was in his room wanting to know what the ranger wrote on the note so he snuck out. Will knew a lot of movement and skills so he saw a guard and started climbing the wall. When he got to the masters wall he climed in and was about to take the paper but the Rangers hand grabed Wills hand and Will screamed. The Ranger took his hand and brought him to the master. The master said Will could see the paper that he wanted to see. It said Will is just like a Ranger I'll take him. Will was amazed but at first was a little disapointed because he didn't know what a Ranger was. But he said yes.
Mr.Parson and a blind begger began to talk.The begger is very sneaky and sly he trys to steal money from Mr.Parson. the begger tells Mr.Parson a story thinking he will have pity. The story is about how he got blind. He was in a chemical explosion and someone stoped him from getting out and he couldent see for the rest of his life. Mr.Parson tells the begger that he was in the same explosion and someone tired to pull him from getting away and that he was blind to.
I think this s a good book beacause its a good clief hanger. you figer out that the begger was the man who made mr.parson blind. he pulled him back into the chemical spill on the floor of C shop. The clife hanger is that mr.parson tells the begger that he is blind to

i really love this book ALOT i sat and read for what seemed like forever. tis very VERY addicting and i'm planning on reading the sequals to it.
Seventeen-year-old Isabella lifes with her mom, she wants to move in her dad, which lives in Forks (i for get the state).
Long plane rides, long car ride home, Bella's father, Charlie, buys her an old truck. As she thought about it, she hated it, when seeing it, she feel in love with it. Charlie enrolled Bella in the town high school, Forks Hight School; beginning the very next day.
First day of school Bella made friends, and some despised her. Her friends she had classes with, ate lunch with, and hung out on the weekends were: Jessica, Lauren, Mike, Jacob, and a few other kids but i forget their names :]
But there was a boy she had biology with, Edward Cullen. Everyone thought his adoptive sibilings and family were different also weird. They sat by themselves at lunch and weren't too socialized. The first class of biology Edward and Bella had together hit hard. He didn't talk to her, and when Bella went to the office at the end of the day, Edward was in there trying to change his bio class to a different time. After a few more classes, they started to become a little of what you would call friends. Some day after school while snowing, Bella was standing at her truck watching as her friend tyler was about to have a car crash on the ice. Edward saves her just in time, but she gets knocked out and sent in an ambulance to the ER. He stood at her hospital bed the whole time. They got into a fight and didn't talk until the next bio class; a week later.
Dhruv Patel Maximum Ride- Schools out Forever 120-180
Max, fang, iggy, gazzy, nudge, and angel have to go to school. They had a good day. When they got out of school, the flying erasers attacked them. They fought the eraser being all bloody at the end of the battle. This wasn’t really a problem because they heal really quickly. When they got to Anne’s house, the person that takes care of them, she was worried. Max got worried that Anne would take her job, being like a mother to the other kids. In the past book, they found a series of codes that had to do with who their parents are. Iggy suggested that it was telling what section, what chapter, what line, and what word in a big book. He suggests the bible but it doesn’t work out.
I like this book because always has a secret that you really want to find out. Right now in the story, I really want to find out who their parents are. What I really don’t get about the story is the part with the other max. It’s confusing because I always think it’s the real Max. I think this isn’t supposed to be that important to the story right now. I think it’s just foreshadowing for later on in the story or in the next book.
Jordana Rosenberg The Meanest Doll in the World Chapters 1-5
This book is about two dolls, Tiffany and Annabelle, who go on an adventure to the attic with her Auntie Sara to look for spiders. On the way back to Kate's room (Kate is the owner of Annabelle, Antie Sara and Annabelle's family, Tiffany belongs to Nora, Kate's sister)Tiffany and Annabelle had to jump into Kate's book bag because she was coming. Kate took Annabelle and Tiffany to school. The two dolls went to explore the school. At the end of the day the dolls were left in a kindergarten class room. The dolls were afraid to leave because if a live doll is seen by a human they will go into dollstate. (That means they will be a regular doll for atleast 24 hours.) So Annabelle and Tiffany were lock in school until the next day.
I think this is a good book. I am ancsious(?) to get to the part were "The Meanest Doll in the World" comes in and Annabelle and Tiffany save the day. (Maybe! Hopefully!) This book is funny and cleverly written.
Will whent back to Halts house which is the Ranger. When they got their, Halt made Will do all his chores which took forever. When Will was done Halt said he did't do a bad job so Halt started showing Will some weapons. Will was anxious to have a sword but halt said Rangers use sharp knifes and Bows to shoot spears. Will was pretty mad that he coulden't use a sword but he got over it. After Halt took Will to get horses.
