I like this book because it is a very creative idea. it is also a very funny book. This is a good book for kids because it shows a normal kids point of view of school and life. It could also be a good book for an adult because it can teach them what a kid's life is like and maybe even make them yell at kids less.

This book is about a 9 year old named moose. He is living in alcatraz with his Mom, Dad, and 16 year old sister Natalie who is mentally ill. He used to live in Maine but his dad lost his job so he had to get one in alcatraz. when his dad starts taking the full day shift and his mom is teaching piano lessons Moose has to watch his sister all week and all day. This annoys moose because after school he normally plays baseball with his friends. One day Natalie decides to leave moose and she starts to hang out with a prisoner but moose doesn't tell his parents because he loves Natalie and he doesn't want to see her get in trouble.

I loved this book.Flisady is a girl that I can realate to. the story inspired me to go for it and don't hold back.The aouther wrote a butiful book.

A boy named Damien who loves to bully milton put a stick of dynamite in the bear and before they knew it milton, Marlo, and Miltons pet ferret Lucky who is always in Miltons kanpsack were dead.........when Milton and Marlo woke up they were in a scary place they looked around and they saw a weird demon like creature. The demon had long black fingernails and green scaly skin. The demon looked down at the two kids and said welcome to heck where all the bad kids go my name is bea elsa bubb. Marlo and Milton try all types of ways to get out of heck. They make new friends, new enemies,and go though all types of weird obstacles in ghoul school

At the proffesor's house, they were playing hide and seek and Lucy hid in a wardrobe. When she walked in the wardrobe farther, she found that she was walking on snow. She finally came to a lamp post and found a half goat half man who asked her to a tea party. He was trying to bring her to the evil witch because he was ordered to, but he was a good goat. Lucy then went back out the wardrobe and found that no time had passed. Her older siblings wouldn't believe her when she told them about everything. One night, Lucy went back in the wardrobe and left it open. Edmund went in and also found the lamppost. The evil witch came and acted nice, but actually wanted to kill the four siblings so that they coudn't become kings and queens of the land (Narnia). The other siblings come to Narnia at some point and Edmund double crosses them. The witch kills their savior Aslan (a lion). He comes back to life and they beat the evil witch. The 4 children rul Narnia and one day hunting a stag, got sent back to the proffesor's house by the wardrobe.

In this book, three orphans, the Baudelaires, have to find a new gaurdian. Fortunatly, there is a new program that is called "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child". Mr.Poe, a banker in charge of orphan affairs, finds this program and the children pick a village called V.F.D, because of a secret their kidnapped friends tried to tell them about. When they get to V.F.D, the siblings notice that the entire city is filled with crows. The Council of Elders, a council that meets at City Hall and wears crow-shaped hats, tells the them that they will have to do everyone's chores, live with Hector, the handyman and make sure to follow the V.F.D rules. The cildren soon find out that all of the rules are ridiculous-one of them is "anyone who breaks a rule will be burned at the stake"- and there are more than 2000 of them.
Even with all these rules and having to do everyone's chores, the Bauldelaires are still concentrating mostly on their friends, the Quagmires, who were kidnapped by Count Olaf. Count Olaf is a murdering man who is after the Baudelaires fortune, which the siblings' parents left behind when they died. The Baudelaires start getting secret messages, writen in couplets, which they know are by Isadora Quagmire.
Later on in the story, the Council of Elders say that they have captured Count Olaf, but they haven't. They have captured an innocent man that looks like him. The Baudelaires know that the man is not Count Olaf, so the next day they try to tell the Council of Elders not to burn him at the stake for breaking a rule-no villains are allowed in V.F.D. But, once the Bauldelaires get to City Hall, the man is dead. Detective Dupin, another of the real Count Olaf's disguises, accuses the Baudelaires of murdering him. The siblings go to jail, but with Violets clever inventing brain, they breakout of jail and try to figure out where the Quagmires are. They read all the couplets and figure out that they are in the fountain. The open the fountain by a secret lever on the eye of the fountain, and the Quagmires get out. In the end, the Quagmires jump aboard a giant hot air balloon to escape, Count Olaf drives away from V.F.D and the siblings have to find a new gaurdian.
I think this book was a very good book.

SECOND POST
Well first I have to say this was the best book I have ever read.
Susan, a.k.a stargirl, moved away to Pennsylvania from her Arizona boyfriend, Leo. There she lives different, meets new people, and writes the "worlds longest letter" to her boyfriend. She writes a journal entry about what happens everyday in her new life for a year.
After being dumped and rejected by Leo, star girl keeps a "happy wagon" full of stones in which represent her happiness, they're being lost due to her sadness for him.
Yet, still pining for Leo, Stargirl's life soon includes a little girl, a middle-aged what seems like drop out, the donut lady, a crabby tween, and a man who spends all his time at his wife’s grave and more people that inspire her to get through life's difficulties.
One day she wrote a letter to herself saying how much the old man misses his wife, and being married for probably more than 50 years. But she's miserable over a boy she dated for less than 50 days.
Stargirl grieves but soon overcomes her strong feelings for her ex-long-distant boyfriend.

THis book is a bout a teenage boy named Matt that returns from boarding school at chistmas time. He finds his father's house ransacked and is put unconcious when a creature attacks him. HIs father left a cryptic maessage on the computer telling him to go to his Aunt Jane to find her boss to help him. His aunt worked for a rich man which Matt's father's message reffered to.
He discovers that his father went missing while looking for the treasure of the Knights of Saint John. He sets out with his Aunt's boss and Robin the daughter of the boss. They go to the brazilian jungle to the waterfall pyramid to meet the billionare that owned the pyramid.
They discover that the treasure was located on a small island on Europe. Matt found a tunnel and went through then the entrance caved in. He was attacked by rats made of dirt then foound the treasure. The billionare was oddly interested in a metal disk.
When they got back to the pyramid Matt and his gruop tried to escape becasue they were suspicious. They escaped with the billionare's assistant. When they got back they noticed that Robin's father was gone.

Zoe is very excited to see her boyfriend Doug because he has spent the last semester at sea on a boat called "Sea the World". Zoe is very excited to go see her boyfriend. She was even more happy that her best friends Angela and Maddie are going with her.
Zoe, Angela, and Maddie have a school bully Jana. Jana and her bestfriend terri had gotten in a fight. Terri was running down the hallway crying.Zoe the good person that she is follows Terri and asked her what was wrong. Terri tells Zoe that Jana was rude and embarressed her.Terri started telling Zoe all of Jana's secrets. The first one and the most embarressing was about this old bear that Jana called "Boo Boo Bear" that she takes everywhere she keeps it in the back of her car whenever she goes to school. Zoe couldn't wait to get home and tell Maddie and Angela about Boo Boo Bear. Maddie was so happy and wanted to tell everyone . The next day of school they saw Jana andtried to look in the back of her car but they couldn't see anything because she had to much junk and they couldn't see anything.
So far, I really like this book.

I think that this book is quite interesting. Altough I had already seen the movie (which had spoiled it for me), I still couldn't wait to read what would happen next.

This book is about four girls, Emma, Jess, Megan, and Cassidy, whose mothers start a book club for them. The girls are very different from each other. Emma Hawthorne is a writer. She lives with her "super nice" brother Darcey, and her mom and dad. Emma, like all the members of the book club are totally against having the book club, mainly because she hates Megan and her group the Fab-4; Emma also doesn't know Cassidy. Jess and Emma are best friends.
Megan Wong wants to be a designer. She is also an amazing artist. She hates the book club because none of her friends are there. Emma used to be her best friend but she joined the Fab-4 and thinks she is too good for Emma. Megan lives in a gigantic house with her mom and her dad. She is stuck-up, snobby, and mean.
Cassidy Sloane is a tomboy who wants to play for the NHL. She lives with her mother and sister Courtney. Her Dad died in an accident. Cassidy tried out for the BOYS! hockey team and made it before the coach found out she was a girl. He let Cassidy play because it would have been gender bias and wrong not to let her play. Cassidy became friends with Emma and Jess quickly.
Jess Delaney is a shy girl who enjoys singing and acting. Jess lives on a farm with her dad and twin brothers Dylan and Ryan. Her mom is on a television show called Heartbeats and lives in New York. Jess has a pet goat Sundance and two dogs, Sugar & Spice (spice is in NY with Mrs. Delaney) plus the animals on the farm! Megan and the Fab-4 call Jess "Goat Girl."
The book that the mothers choose for the girls to read is Little Women. Since the book is so long they decide to read it over the year. The characters in Little Woman are like the four members in the book club and comparisons are made between the girls in the book club and the sisters in Little Woman. For the book club events they have a Halloween party and a Christmas party. On the day of the Christmas party it SNOWED so Mr Delaney drove the girls to the party in his carriage with the two draft horses. The girls are starting to secretly enjoy the book club.
Megan and her friends do very mean things to Emma and Jess. At Cassidy's hockey try outs Megan's friend Becca reads a poem Emma wrote about her crush. She was humiliated. When Megan and Jess tried out for Beauty and the Beast, Jess got the part and Megan was mad. On opening night Megan and Becca let Jess' goat on the stage and he runs around and embarrasses Jess. Darcey is sitting in the front row and jumps up and saves Sundance. Jess was mad at Megan.
Is there any luck for the book club? Will they eventually all be friends?

A Game of Marbles
A boy named Henry and his brother, James go to Bloor's Academy to live with their Aunt and strange cousin, Zeke because their sister, Daphne, has diptheria. When Henry's aunt catches him looking into Zeke's room and brings him to the Great hall where Zeke and James are. James tells Henry that Zeke did part of a puzzle with his eyes. Henry looks at the puzzle and does the rest of it for Zeke. Zeke gets angry and tells them to leave. Henry's aunt calls James to bed, so henry goes to play marbles by himself. After Henry starts playing, he is greeted by a glowing glass ball that rolls up to him. Henry picks it up, and realizes he is being transported somewhere. he writes with chalk on the floor, "Sorry, James. The MARBLES..." James waits for his brother in his room, and starts to feel warmer. He sees three different-colored cats. They lead him to where Henry wrote the message. James doesn't know where Henry went, but the cats will protect him from any danger while he is gone.

right now the boy and the dad are going south in old burned America and they found the dads old house and there was a earthquake. went into town saw a little boy and dog. the dog follow them for two days after they got out of the town the boy tried to get the dog to come with them but the dog left. later these bad people they see the boy or dad. if the people saw them they would have eaten they. then then they found truck

The part I read of this book is about 6 kids, Max, Fang, Nudge,Angel,Izzy, and Gazzy.
they are different than normal kids. They were mutated in a science lab and are now part bird because they can fly. They are on search for their parents.On their way, they get attacked by erasers, part wolf part human creatures. They go to a hospital because fang gets injured. A fbi cop invites them to stay at her house offering food and shelter. the kids suspect there is a catch to it, but they don't know what it is yet.
I think this is a good story. It has a very good theme. it is a fast book. There is always somthing interesting going on that's important.

This is the sequel to the book Hidden talents. Now the boy that can move objects with his mind's death is faked and he is kidnapped. The other members of the psychic group meet each other and go to rescue the kid with psychic powers. Theey get caaptured themselves then escape and meet another psychic with healing powers.
I think that this tory was pretty good but it lacked a strong storyline. In some parts I was confused by what was happening.

Kristen and Walker are to different religons but in the same world. Walk has the problem of every one thinking his bad because hes black. But kristens parents are not divoced but they dont get along well. On the first day of school kristen meet walk and her best friend Roary convinced singing them up for the talent show. Walk trys to figure out his best freind mateos secret
I wanted to read this book beacaues the back said that walk and kristen found out a secret about each other that they never knew. Also the author is the same author who wrote Al Copone Does My Shirt anothergrreat book. this is a pretty good book.
